I've lived in the evergreen area for over a year and had been dying to go to a Sunday brunch at Wildflower - just the timing didn't line up until this past weekend. Worth the wait! Four of us showed up on Sunday at 11am - prime brunch time. They said they'd be about 20mins, put our names on the white board and sent us off. We went next door and grabbed a coffee at Muddy Buck. (Also a fave) Low and behold - exactly 20mins later our table was ready! Boom. I ordered a regular mimosa - but it came in a beer glass. Love that. And then strayed from my usual Benedict search for the sweet and salty monte Cristo. So glad I did. The French toast piece was cooked to still have some soft texture, the cheese and meat were thick and the homemade strawberry jam was the clincher. The flavors were just lovely. All three of my friends got the chorizo skillet with wild style eggs - only complaint was that it was a lot of food! Come hungry. Our server was hoot and we loved the energy and the vibe! Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. This place needs to become a chain or something cause I crave their food even after only 1 day! Some might complain about it being small, tight or slow service, but it's WORTH IT! The wild potato's are legendary! I'd pay to get them shipped to Minnesota! Chorizo skillet was full of flavor with still crispy potatoes mixed in with flavors that show the chefs genuinely know what they are doing when crafting a menu. Stuffed French toast is drool worthy! Wildflower cafe was a place I spotted on yelp in my search for a breakfast place to stop on the way up to the mountains. It is located right off the main drag in Evergreen. Ample parking and super easy to find. It is also wedged in between some lovely shops if you feel like a morning window shopping. This place is super cute. They have fun quirky decor. It is a bit snug as the space is super small. This would be my only complaint as it can be a little uncomfortable. There are so many food items to choose from. It was really hard to pick just one. Because I had spotted some dank looking potato photos on yelp, I knew I would have to get something involved those starchy little discs. I went for the potato skillet, smothered with green chili and topped with eggs. IT was delicious. My dining partner enjoyed a similar dish. Both came out in a cute cast iron skillet. The potatoes are between in a chip and a hashbrown. Fried crispy golden and delish. Cant wait to come back to try more items on the menu. read more

Nothing short of amazing. We were in town for a wedding and went to Wildflower on recommendation of the happy couple. We were able to get 12 on the porch, had coffee next door while we waited for seating. YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! I was sure from the photos and reviews that I needed to try this place and I am so glad I did. It's small, REAL small, and hectic for breakfast but it's worth it. There is outdoor seating that looks like you can seat yourself - which I think is probably usually the case - but if they're on a wait you can't do that as I saw the gal working make a couple people get up. We're newbies so had no idea obviously and asked for a table for 4. There were two tables right beside one another outside and I was sitting at one - she asked me to get up to seat two people who had JUST walked up - which I did - then realized that I could've just told her we'd sit outside. So I was pissed about that. Another table got up and we grabbed that (now with three tables between us) and told her we'd like to sit outside. So we split into two groups of two and sat outside where we could people watch and it wasn't as hot and loud. I ordered a soy chai latte and it was AMAZEBALLS. YUM. I mentioned how much I loved it and the gal said it was just Oregon chai - but it tasted fab - so that's fine with me! It doesn't taste like that when I make it. lol. I ordered a veggie skillet with potatoes, eggs, cheese and avocado. My friend ordered the pancakes and a fruit cup. Her pancakes were DELICIOUS omg I loved them. The skillet delivered was wrong - it was a chicken fajita one with some sautéed peppers and onions - I started eating it bc I honestly couldn't remember what the hell I'd ordered and it was good - she came back and apologized and asked if I wanted my original order bc she'd brought the wrong one - so I said sure. Honestly, the wrong skillet was better than mine though both were very good. I should've stuck with that yummy chicken skillet with the veggies and avocado and eggs and potatoes! YUM! My other two friends at the distant table loved their meals as well - all was a success. Service was slightly slow and we did wait a while for seating and it was a bit confusing - but they were slammed and the gal waiting on us was friendly enough once we got seated. Went on a Friday around 11:00. Place has VERY tight seating. Once you check in it's best to wait outside until someone leaves. Coffee was really good, omelet was great, potatoes were a pleasant surprise. Friend had biscuits and gravy which was an enormous plate of 4 biscuits and 2 or 3 scrambled eggs on top. Took a bit to get seated which i wasnt mad about. Only one waitress who is very talkative and is slow to get back to you due to conversation with other patrons. Food took a LONG time to come out. Literally was an hour wait. Only 3 other tables besides us. We were not the only ones upset with wait time. People waited very long just to close out/be greeted after sitting/getting food. Kayla was our server and Josh i think the cook who also was talkative amongst guest which is why maybe the food took forever? Unfortunately that put a bad taste.
