She started with a detailed dry massage and then went in to the oil massage. The dry massage hit the spot, it was the perfect pressure. When she started with the oil massage I was sold. She hit all the correct pressure points and removed all knots. I have a desk job and I run. The pressure was definitely higher on the oil massage but I've had worse and it felt amazing! She focused on my shoulders and lower back both of which I needed the massage for. I didn't even need to tell her, her experience spotted my problem points. I was able to relax although it was very lightly painful. It wasn't like some of the rough massages I've had in the past. I didn't leave the place in pain but left feeling so relaxed. They were actually pretty good other than the fact that they did whatever they wanted to do during the 30 minute body and a 30 minute foot messages the end of the experience is what got me. Not only on arrival that I have to pay extra for both me and my girlfriend to have hot stones during our massage, $10 each by the way, they also claim that tip should be no lower than $15. They have a sign that says that and they don't allow people to leave unless you pay higher than $15 in tip for each masseuse. I attempted to pay my masseuse a five dollar tip which realistically I wasn't gonna do anyways but you know out of respect. I'm like I'm gonna give five dollars and he seemed disgusted by my five and refused it. I was utterly appalled and extremely aggravated so I just pulled out a 20 broken down in half and left with a attitude. This past weekend, a few of us went to their affiliate store located on Prince Street and the service was great there too. The store is tucked away on the second floor of a commercial building complex. The shop is bigger than their original store and has private rooms available for treatments. It's a spacious Shiseido retail store where they provide service with a smile. The technicians are friendly, professional and provided us each with an excellent treatment experience. I totally recommend that you check this place out, buy their products and/or treat yourself for a facial treatments at this Shiseido store. I was escorted to a private room, and it was surprisingly more comfortable than I had expected. Their attendant, Ruby, handled my treatment. They give you a robe to change into to keep your top dry and cover you in warm blankets. They untangle your hair and give you a dry scalp massage. Then they start wetting your hair with a circular shower head which was very cool. They wash your hair several times and give a scalp massage. They also give a neck massage and shoulder massage. All the products they use smell extremely good and felt great in my hair. At the end of the massage, they dry your hair and leave it somewhat. It would be very cool if they offered a salon service where you could pay an extra fee for them to style your hair so you could leave with very clean hair and styled. I would have also liked if the scalp massage was a little more rough, it was softer than I liked. I would probably try another location for a scalp massage to compare the experiences.

Since there's no communication throughout the process (we literally exchanged no words aside from the initial, strip instructions); this is all assumptions/spotty memory on my end: Dry head massage, shampoo, soaped up head massage, conditioner, vertebrae/shoulder massage (was really really good) but it's odd because you're all soaped up and I can't tell if it's conditioner they're rubbing your back lol. When the massage was finished, they didn't offer towels or anything to help with wiping away excess oils. Cash & card are both accepted. Walk ins are welcome. There is a bit of a language barrier.
