Went in and my order wasn't ready so I went through the doorway to the bookstore next door for a bit. Came back and my order was ready but I took the opportunity to check out some of what they had since I normally only ever get the chicken Ceasar salad. The staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. The place was clean and SO inviting. All of the desserts were calling my name by I declined. I got the italiano sandwhich and it it was awesome and my girlfriend got the salmon pasta and she said it was very good. I will definitely come back if for no other reason, the service!

The food is great and the price is fair. My son got the BLT and I tried the lasagna and it was 10/10. Better than the fancy Italian restaurant down the street.

Cinco de Mayo 2025.. Almost 7 p.m. Sat at table that had crumbs on it still but dismissed it since there didnt appear to be any smudges, smears, whatever. While dining we observed tables, one directly beside us, another along the wall of Changing Hands and a third in middle of dining area, being cleared after customers left. Plates and Utensils removed, S&P and table tent placed in center of table. Table never got wiped down with anything.

Half soup/salad combo - forest mushroom soup and Asian salad
    Vivian H.

Running around doing a lot of holiday errands and needed some food as I was headed to Changing Hands next door. I've never tried this place, but was always curious about it when I went to the bookstore, so today I had an opportunity to try it out. You order at the register, take a number to your table, and someone brings out your food. I had the combo 1/2 soup and 1/2 salad. I chose the Asian salad with peanut dressing on the side and had a bowl of the forest mushroom soup. The mushroom soul was fantastic with big chunks of mushroom in it and I loved this! The salad was ok and could have used some protein like tofu or chicken and the lettuce was a bit wilted, but it was a good salad. I also had a bottle of Topo Chico with a twist of lime but for $3.50, I think I will pass next time. Place is clean with plenty of seating inside and out. They tout using fresh and healthy ingredients, so this place is pretty clean eating, which I like. Every once in awhile, I'll stop in here again and definitely when I want to have a soup as they have many many options! Great place to meet friends or come solo.

Ham and Swiss cheese sandwich on Rye with homemade chips.

My wife and I came for a late lunch / early dinner. She got a bowl of Tomato Feta Cheese soup and half Turkey cheese sandwich with cranberry sauce. I got the bowl of Potato soup and full Ham and Swiss cheese sandwich which came with chips and a soda fountain drink. Food came quickly and was very delicious. A little disappointed that the turkey sandwich cranberry sauce was actually only a cranberry spread, but it was still good. The sandwiches were STUFFED with meat and very filling. The soups were delicious and mine came with their excellent bread. Lots of staff around keeping the tables clean and everyone was very nice. Just the bowls of soup and bread could fill you up but the sandwiches are scrumptious.

    Disappointing lasagna.

This is my second disappointing meal at one of two Wildflowers I've been to recently. There's been a real drop in quality and portions. I used to really enjoy these restaurants but the undersized lasagna with dried out brittle edges, overcooked sauce and meager layers of meat and cheese has convinced me its best days are in the past.

Definitely not even an attempt at toasting

A friend mentioned they have a great BLT, so I decided to try it out. Very disappointing that though the menu online says toasted, and shows toasted bread, it wasn't. A BLT on untoasted bread just isn't right. Unfortunately I had done pickup so by the time I noticed, not much to do about it. I also got a sweet potato side, which was tasty, but quite expensive at $5ish for at best 1/3 cup sweet potato.

We were part of a large group, and the experience never felt chaotic or overlooked. The standout was our server, Kate. She brought a positive energy to the table from the start, was attentive without hovering, and managed a large party with professionalism and genuine warmth. It's easy to recognize when someone takes pride in their work, and Kate clearly does. What earned this review, however, happened after we left. About thirty minutes later, we realized we had accidentally left behind several valuable items, including some with significant sentimental value. When we returned, Kate had already secured them and was waiting to return them to us. Her honesty, initiative, and attention to detail turned what could have been a stressful situation into a lasting impression. Restaurants are remembered for more than their food. Kate's service is the reason we'll be back.

The restaurant and outdoor entertainment complex is huge and has a really fun, energetic vibe. According to the bartender, they have ping-pong, pickleball, and a big upstairs outdoor patio with amazing views of Tempe and the surrounding area. There's also a large parking lot, lots of outdoor seating, and even a dog park area, which makes it really easy to spend time here. The bartenders and wait staff were very friendly. Azbel was a great server. I had the bistro steak and fries and the Szechuan lettuce wraps, and both were really good. Portions were generous. During late-night happy hour my total was about $55 for a main entrée, an appetizer, a cocktail, and tip, which felt like a great deal. I was pleasantly surprised that happy hour runs every day Monday through Sunday from 3-6 PM and again from 8 PM to close. I also checked out the event venue on site, and it looks like it would be a great place for a company party, corporate event, or group gathering. I'll definitely be returning in the near future.

The Service was "electric" for us as we were celebrating a birthday at the table during lunch. It was too Hot for us to do pickleball, but they do have a fully shaded area that had people playing outside ~105 degrees. As for the food, we had the Fish & Chips with a Mahi Mahi Slaw & Fries, the Ahi Poke Tacos which come in Wonton shells. Hot Honey and Sausage Pizza was great. The Barbacoa Nachos had all the right ingredients & the Double Smash Burger had only some "fancy sauce" on the plate. The Tempura Green Bean, can't remember who ordered, but were good with the chipotle ranch sauce. With me, I'm all about the cocktails, so I treated myself to both the Froze Margarita & the Chi Chi. They call them spiked slushes, I call them "heaven sent" during the Arizona Summer. All of the food was a hit for the table and my family understood why I suggested EP for lunch! I said our Server was "electric" and that's because they made our experience very enjoyable. It was appreciated and I will return again for lunch and pickleball (in the evenings) during the hot summer!

There's also a bar space that runs along the window that separates the small dining room and the patio. There are a few tables inside as well as some bigger tables on the patio. The patio is nice with lots of shrubs right outside the rail. The murals on the wall are pretty darn cool - - they're like enlarged historic photos of the area. I love them! And I'm not sure who's giant face is hanging on the ceiling but it's short a spark conversation. The menu here has a little something for everyone. There's the regular loaded fries and wings, salads, and a nice election burgers. We ordered the Philly Salad and the Very Summer Salad with a side order of fries. They make their own ranch, and it is good. I will say they don't seem to skim on salad ingredients either - - the Philly salad was covered with shaved beef, and my berry salad had a lot of chicken and tons of blue cheese. The fries were delicious - - slightly seasoned and crispy. This place is clearly dog friendly. In fact the day we went there was a sweet Pitbull named Daisy who literally hopped up on a bar stool and sat there like a little angel the entire time. The bar had a dog full of water that they sat down on the counter next to her owner's beer. They also have dog biscuits to give. It made my day to see that sweet little dog hanging at the bar having a treat. This really is kind of a spot that feels like it's probably the hangout spot of many people. Great bar food and a good selection of beers. What's not to love?

I'm a huge pancake person, so I was excited to try the strawberry pancakes, but they were honestly disappointing. They were soggy, lacked any fluff, and had more of a cornbread texture than a pancake. The strawberry topping also wasn't very appetizing--it seemed like it was meant to be more of a sauce, but it didn't quite work. I completely understand that higher-end restaurants like to get creative with their dishes, but I think some basics like pancakes should still be done really well. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive the entire time we were there, which was a couple hours. The milk bread is an absolute must! It's so pillowy soft and the flaky sea salt perfectly compliments it. I ordered the Wise Decision cocktail, which was refreshing. For my entree, I had the shishito Caesar salad and was advised I could add a protein from their skewer selection of chicken, pork belly or oyster mushrooms. I asked the waitress about the chicken and she advised that they are smoked and will appear pink from that, so not to be alarmed, but are moist and really flavorful. While the filet was tempting (and what everyone else at my table ordered), I wanted something lighter. Thankfully I was not disappointed in my selection. The chicken was as delicious as described and could be cut with a fork. The Caesar salad was well dressed, but not soggy. Do I think it was worth the money to add the chicken? Not if I were paying, but since my company paid for it, I think it was worth it. This is a great spot for a date night or special occasion.
