We went 2 days ago, and had drove all the way from Ahwatukee for their bread bowls! When we were ready to order, we were told they ran out & my daughter was super bummed. We almost left . The cashier gal even let her pick a pastry for her inconvenience. I ended up talking the girls into staying. They had the Salmon pasta dish and I had the BLT sandwich & soup combo. Food was great as always! As we were leaving, the mgr, Anthony caught us outside with a bag in his hand. They found 2 bread bowls and even packed some soup for my daughter! Today, I got the grilled chicken pesto sandwich and it was tasty. I actually like everything about it - mushrooms, red peppers, cheese, chicken breast, and bread. Last time, I got a soup and sandwich combo and it was tasty too. Both times, the lemon bar has been great!! Oh Wildflower, how I love thee. In the search for a place to soak up the AC while writting the next great american novel, I came upon this place. I saw they had free wifi and some comfy looking booths so I decided to step inside. There is a very distinct, relaxed atmosphere here. The crowd that comes here is very mixed but still very mellow. It also helps that this location opens up to Changing Hands Bookstore next door. Coffee, good food and books seem to go hand in hand. Then I stepped up to the counter. My eyes were greeted with a feast of various baked goods. I looked up at the menu and was pleased with the choices available. I have had lunch and dinner here. Everything I have had as been really great. I especially enjoy their soup in bread bowls. It's a step above panera bread company for me. There is just a certain flair there. I also really enjoy their iced tea. The only criticism of this place is that there coffee can be a bit bland. Oh, and I've bought loaves of bread here too. They were wonderful. I have spent quite a few hours here working and talking with friends. This is definately a great place to go. read more

Okay, so I go back and forth on this place. My favorite foods are always their seasonal dishes which is a bit frustrating. I will continue to go because this preggo needs my potato cream cheese soup. It is the only thing that makes me happy right now. Normally I get the wildflower salad with it. The other day I ordered the caesar salad with it and it was AWFUL. I mean the worst salad I've ever had. Romaine lettuce, mushrooms (wtf?) and parmesan. I think there might have been dressing on it, but there was so little and I couldn't taste it and so I don't really know. That is the only horrid food I've had there though. Everything else is okay and if you get to try the pulled pork sandwich in spring or the summer club you will be in for a treat. read more

After trying their samples for years at many Yelp event's I finally had a chance to eat here. Start with a free bred and butter sample, makes sense as this is a bread company. I had the butternut squash ravioli, I really liked this dish however the filling does cross the line from savory to sweet. Big fan of this place.. the location is convenient for before yoga class nearby. Their staff has always been friendly and prompt and I like their proximity to the bookstore (which makes me come even more often as I can browse and eat while I kill time before yoga class). We went to his location today and we were totally disgusted with our meal and with the downright terrible attitude of the manager of this location. My son ordered the bread bowl with potato cheese soup and it was only a small amount of soup in the bowl. He wanted some more soup to take out and paid an additional $7.85 for a carry out bowl. The amount of soup was a couple of ounces in a carry out cup. I questioned the manager and he said that was the correct amount, and his approach to me was pathetic. I will never return to the Wildflower Restaurant again. read more

My ideal day is coming to Wildflower, ordering a chopped salad and then spending hours browsing books next door at Changing Hands. I just love this salad it is one of my favorites. The salad is comprised of chopped arugula, Israeli cous cous, freeze dried corn, dried cranberries, red bell pepper, feta, sunflower seeds and salmon. It is perfection! This is my favorite spot to go with my mom and sisters. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everything on their menu is fresh and amazing. However, their potato cream cheese soup is my absolute favorite. Very disappointed :( I've came to this wildflower for years as it is next to my work. Recently I've had very poor service and experiences with the food. I called ahead today and paid over the phone but when came to pick it up still had to wait in the giant line to get it. Then we I get back to work this is what the meal looked like. Updating my review. Still 5 stars, but I just wanted to give Panera a shoutout for having vegan options. I hope to see them expand the vegan options - I would love to see some nut cheeses as an option for their sandwiches. Go-to for healthy, yummy, comfort food. Thanks to our server Stephanie who was so sweet and kind to my daughter and I. She noticed my daughter was carrying a Lego set and came and told her that she really liked Legos too. It made her day to know someone else has the same interest! All of the servers are usually really nice but Stephanie went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. I come and pick up from this location every week and today I was sitting in the curbside pick up waiting for my food they texted me it would be ready in one minute I wait 10 minutes and I called the store and a lady picks up the phone. She was so rude she asked me if mine was for pick up or curbside I told her curbside pick up and I had already gotten a text message back she proceeded to tell me that I need to come inside I refused. This younger man came out and brought my food to me and was wondering what the holdup was and what had happened with this lady I have no idea why I was waiting so long but my food is now cold and I am very disappointed. read more

The blandest sandwich I've ever eaten. The almond tuna sandwich was 99% tasteless sprouts and 1% tuna. Had to keep pulling the unnecessary amount of sprouts out so I could actually taste the sandwich. Even then, still wasn't good. Tonight was my very first visit to Wildflower! The food was absolutely stupendous. The dishes Homestyle Penne Pasta and Wildflower Salad we're out of this world. I had to approach the manager Frank on a wonderful job well done. We have come here for years but today is the last day. The quality of their food has gone into the garbage (literally). Purchased the BLT plus, which was my favorite. The guacamole was a couple days old or at least left out unrefrigerated and tasted like it. It was dark green and tasted off. The lettuce was wilted, slimy, and dark around the edges. The house chips it came with were a bit soft. Needless to say it was thrown away and not eaten and the thought of it literally makes me sick. I'd like to say this was the only time this happened, but the last few times we were here something similar happened. Wildflower was good in its heyday but not anymore. read more

I often eat at this or other Wildflower locations twice a week and have for years. The spinach strawberry salad is my favorite but there is a nice variety of salads and all are great. Sandwiches, combos and breakfasts are great too. The only recommendation at this location would be to expand its size to better accommodate all there customers. read more

I always try to stay away from chains, but I heard that Wildflower Bread Co. served healthy, good food and had a reputation for serving the community. I was willing to give it a shot. I came during my lunch break and drove 15 minutes to get there, so I was excited when I ordered a chicken parmesan. When I paid, my card got declined. My whole face fell. "I'm so sorry I have to cancel my order. I forgot they're mailing me a new debit card because my card expired," I said. I was beet red with embarrassment and even more bummed out that I drove a quarter of my break to go back to the office hungry. I didn't express any of this to the cashier, but as I turned to walk away, the cashier called after me, "Wait, hey it's okay. It's on us." I looked at her in disbelief. "Are you sure??" I asked her. She smiled, "Yeah," and she rang up the order, "It's okay, it happens," she said. I thanked her graciously! So first off, I want to thank this specific store and staff, for this act of kindness. One act of kindness is all it takes to make someone's day a little better, and it not only made mine, but is something I will always remember. Second off, my chicken parm was delicious! It was fresh mozzarella chunks that were melting off into delicious chicken - the ingredients were fresh and delectable. This was great restaurant, or once was. The ownership has changed it seems. I have been going with my kids for ten years for breakfast and dinner. They have these fantastic lemon pancakes. They used to have large ones that filled the plate. Short stack 2 large stack 3. About 6 and 8 bucks. Now they have 3 silver dollar pancakes on the plate and charge the same amount. I have no idea why they would do this. It is ridiculous. I have 2 teenage boys now who could fill up on a large stack before but I would have to order three meals to do the same now. It is the cheapest move I have seen in a restaurant in ages. If you read this Wildflower please explain! Pancake batter is really inexpensive. What up? Such a disappointment! read more

Went in tonight to order to go and received horrible customer service. I ordered no goat cheese and the kids in the back smeared some on anyway. When I went to ask them to remake it the kid came up laughing about it and said "oopps". I tried to speak to the manager about it, but sadly she wouldn't look at me and fumbled horribly to give me a refund for about 4 minutes. It seemed it was her first day on the job. There is no customer service here and everyone there is unprofessional. My best friend and I come here when we need to reflect on life. The positive and calm environment allows us to have great conversation and enjoy our tasty meal. I don't like change so I order the same sandwich every time (BTL) and let me tell you, it NEVER disappoints. The bacon is my favorite part of it all because it is tender and cooked to perfection. The way the bread heads (employees) tend to our needs is very much appreciated. I know that every time we come in we will have a pleasant experience. I love their butternut squash ravioli and their soups are pretty good. My kids like the salads here. I don't care for their bread. Sometimes, when placing to go orders they miss an item so you have to be diligent and confirm the order. My son got a cookie and they forgot it. Tonight, their ravioli was warm-ish and the chicken parmigian sandwich was not a sandwich... it was a lot of chicken, Cheese and marinara sauce on a bed of hard bread you couldn't eat as a sandwich. read more
