Stayed at the Wild Flower Inn for a family reunion and had an amazing time. The facility was very accommodating to all the family and provided enjoyable activities for all ages. We played lawn games and swam in the pool during the day and were lucky enough to enjoy the campfire pits at night. The grounds are beautiful and covered in wildflowers. The food and beverage experience was fantastic. We had a delicious breakfast every morning. Dinner was excellent. We had a large party, and the service that night was top notch. There is a daytime bar at the bike shop. Drinks were cold and the service was friendly. All of the staff that we encountered were very friendly and professional. The rooms were quaint and comfortable with AC that was much needed on some of the hot summer days. We enjoyed some of the most beautiful landscapes and sunsets Vermont had to offer! Would absolutely stay again if we make it back to Vermont. read more

Our business was welcomed there before we had a child but, sadly, not after. My husband and I had stayed at the wildflowers inn twice before and we had a lovely time both times. Yet now that we have a two year old son that we want to have with us we were told that "We are sorry, we are not able to accept your reservation request. we do not take children." We tried to reserve the largest suite that was separate from the rest of the rooms to allay any fears of bothering other guests. Discriminating against guests with children is rather interesting as we saw a couple with a young child the last time we were there. Very sad. They chose to have an unsold room instead of a repeat customer. We will spend our money and bring our well-behaved child somewhere else. read more

Great bed and breakfast! Bob is awesome and very hospitable. Rooms are clean and cozy, while the breakfast is delicious! Coffee, tea, juice, fresh baked muffins and pastries, eggs, homefries, bacon, and pancakes. You won't leave here hungry, that's for sure! We stayed in Room 3 with a corner fireplace and a gorgeous view of Mt. Washington from the private bath. Decor is a mix of Victorian and Oriental. Somewhat out dated but makes you feel like you're at Grandma's house for the weekend. Only complaint is that the water is not very hot when you take a shower but overall, it is an awesome place to stay! read more

My husband and I stayed at the Wildflowers in Saturday thru Monday. Bob and Emily were great hosts. The breakfasts were fabulous, great portions and variety. We stayed in room 6, a two room suite with a jacuzzi. The room was nice and spacious, jacuzzi was lovely way to relax at night, and the fireplace both heated the room as well as set the mood. All in all a great trip. Only reason I give 4 out of 5 stars is I felt that the blankets and comforters as well as pillows could have been a little softer. They were of good quality, but not very soft to the touch, rather rough. read more

My girl & I usually stay @ a different B&B nearby, that we truly enjoy. This time we decided to try someplace new & we were not disappointed. Bob & Emily were fabulous hosts. We got in pretty late, but Bob still gave us a welcome tour of the house. The homemade cookies sitting out for us were delicious! Our bedroom & bathroom were clean, warm & cozy. Breakfast was creative, tasty & plentiful. The view out the back porch, adjacent to the kitchen, was incredible. We didn't sit out on the porch for breakfast, but we would next time. The street side of the house can be a little noisy with cars at night, so if this bothers you, you might want to ask for a room at the rear of the house. We enjoyed our stay & certainly would not hesitate to stay here again. read more

Excellent bed and breakfast. The house itself was very nice and the location was great. Very close (no more than 2 i would say, maybe less, miles to center of North Conway). The view out the back of the house (or from the porch) has a beautiful view of the mountains in the background. Bob and Emily are very nice and very helpful with giving info for waterfalls and other sites to see in the area. The breakfast is top notch as well, especially the homeade baked goods. read more

I stayed here with my girlfriend after getting snowed in and having to spend an extra night in North Conway. Rather than stay another night at the motel we were at, we decided to splurge and stay here. Our room was a suite with a king size bed, fireplace and jacuzzi. Bob and Emily were wonderful hosts and they always had plenty of baked goodies available. The breakfast in the morning was great as well and consisted of an omelet, toast, fruit, and a pastry. read more

My boyfriend and I stayed here last weekend and had a wonderful experience! Upon arrival we were greeted by Bob who gave us a tour of the inn. He was very friendly and made us feel at home. He was very willing and able to give great suggestions of where to go and eat in the area. We stayed in the room with a fireplace and jacuzzi, which was very clean and had everything that we would need. The room was cozy and the jacuzzi and fireplace were great features! Breakfast was delicious and was more than enough food to keep us full until dinner time. Overall it was a great stay and we plan to make this our yearly tradition. read more

The historic home is graciously hosted by Bob and Emily with welcoming fresh-baked cookies, beautifully decorated halls and rooms, and a breakfast of hot muffins, fresh fruit & juices, and choices of made-to-order dishes. Bob is an engaging host who offers advice on local attractions and restaurants. The guest rooms each have unique appointments and all include a gas fireplace to both warm the room and add some real charm. Having taken in many B&Bs as we have traveled around Massachusetts, Vermont, and Maine to see the Fall colors, the Wildflowers Inn will be the one we will remember and tell family and friends about! read more

It was very convenient to downtown North Conway but more importantly Bob and Emily were fantastic hosts and made us feel right at home. My boyfriend gifted me a stay to the Wildflowers Inn for New Years. Unfortunately I was hospitalized the day prior and we weren't sure we'd make it. The day of our check in I was starting to recover so we decided to try and go anyway. When we got to our room, I couldn't even open the door all the way due to the bedpost being in the way of the door. I could barely maneuver my seven month pregnant belly through the small room. Next, I looked in the bathroom to find that there was no bath. The website specifically listed the room as having a "private bath" which I would later find out did not mean bath at all, it only meant a bathroom. I do feel the wording was misleading, but this is a mild concern of mine considering what's to follow. I went to lay on the bed and noticed four pubic hairs on the pillow. Shortly after that putrid discovery, the ceiling light started buzzing and flickering every few minutes. I told my boyfriend I was going to go downstairs to see if someone were checking out the next morning in hopes that we could upgrade rooms to salvage the following day of our trip. We had already paid for the trip so I figured there was nothing to lose by asking. I went down and spoke to the wife whom I hadn't met yet. I told her that we had just checked in and had a few small concerns with our room. I mentioned I was seven months pregnant and the room was a little small for me, and asked if there were any vacancies to switch rooms for the next night. She instantly said no and asked what was wrong. I politely explained my confusion about the bath, and even said that it was likely my fault for misunderstanding. She said I was accusing them of lying and I said that was not my intention I simply felt a little disappointed and that my main concerns were more the flickering lights and public hairs on the bed. She became very distraught and said they always change the bedding. I told her I'm not discrediting that they do but she frantically insisted on a refund and went in the other room to consult her husband. I heard them shouting and when he came out he got within inches of my face, pointed at me and yelled "you're a liar, you just want a refund" to which I replied "sir you are making me uncomfortable could you please back up" and he said "none of this back up stuff, you listen to me" to which I firmly replied "I would like you to back up now, I feel frightened" he only backed off to walk around to the other side of the help desk. He never stopped shouting, calling me scum, and telling me I drove all this way just to make up a story and get a refund. I explained that I wasn't even asking for a refund, and if he would listen he would understand I wanted to be there. The wife was in an absolute frenzy asking me how I could live with myself for doing this to them. My boyfriend heard the commotion and said let's just go, it's not worth it. The owner did give us a half refund. My boyfriend went up to get our bags so we could leave. I was crying at this point and another guest came out and asked me what was wrong. I attempted to walk away from the owners, they chased us down and told the guest "stay away from that filth" so I sat in a chair by the door to avoid confrontation. The owner demanded I get out instead. I waited outside in -9 degree weather. He slammed the door on me and yelled "thanks for ruining my fucking wife's night." While I was outside he got in my boyfriends face saying "I hope you're happy", my boyfriend replied "this is not my fight, we're leaving anyway." The man challenged him with "Yeah well it is your fight now." I have never in my life felt so threatened, disrespected, and overall uncomfortable. I'm appalled that they would treat people this way. You simply don't handle a question or complaint with threats, swears, and name calling. Unfortunately for us we've lost six hours of driving/gas, $140, our time, and our vacation, but you don't have to lose anything- Steer very clear of this business! read more

My husband and I just returned from our stay at the Wildflowers inn, and we had a very nice visit! When we arrived, we were greeted by Bob, who checked us in and invited us to enjoy some incredible home baked cookies while we toured the house. Admittedly, we were a little disappointed by the size of our room/bed, as we had hoped to have a king bed, and when we inquired, we were surprised by the increase in cost from a queen to a king, so we bit the bullet and stayed in the smaller room. The house is furnished with a mixture of motifs which made it quite fun and charming, and my husband and I particularly enjoyed the pool table (because watching TV on a 17" screen was close to impossible). Bob's wife Emily is absolutely wonderful and inviting and the breakfast that she prepared was BEYOND COMPARE!! We were excited every morning to hear about Emily's specials (almost as excited as Bob was, in explaining all the goodies). These are two lovely people, and we truly enjoyed staying at their bed and breakfast and would recommend it to all - just make sure you ask for a room with a king bed, as the room is much larger and seemed more comfortable. read more
