Had a really nice stay here, though there were some very minor issues that nonetheless hampered our experience. Check in and check out was very simple, the breakfast was good - consistently so as we have come to expect from other Hilton/Hamptons. The water slide/pool was an exciting prospect for the kids, but ultimately not one we ended up partaking in because our kids aren't really experienced enough with swimming yet. The TV controls were a little difficult to work - to get to the guide, we had to turn the TV off and then on again. Navigating to the guide and then using it was not intuitive. The remote itself was also missing the battery cover. We ran out of both toilet paper and facial tissues during our stay (front desk was kind enough to resupply, but having a spare in the room would help). And one morning at breakfast, I was rather aggressively accosted by a staff member about using the tongs with the bread. More than any of these, we had a bit of trouble simply FINDING the hotel, since the signage on the road is not visible AT ALL. Kind of a baffling issue. read more

We stayed for a two night stay to visit story land in Mount Washington. The water slides were great for my 2 year old (the kiddie area) minus the big kids that probably shouldn't be on them and pool staff allowing it mind you there was many toddlers in the kiddie area. Only other complaint was the air conditioner in the room is motion sensored and middle of the night it gets warm! Breakfast was good selection and was was very nice. Nice and clean lobby was efficient for drinks snacks and toiletries and nice place to sit and relax in front of the fireplace. The pool room had a hot tub and water park with slides and tubes to go down. The room itself was a good size king sized bed with a pull out couch. Bathroom was nice and clean shower was nice and hot tv was a good size.... Walls are paper thin. I'd give it five stars if it weren't for hearing literally everything going on above and around us.

Very disappointing experience. THE GOOD: Decent sized rooms and bathrooms. Mini fridge and microwave, a nice touch. Fun water slides. THE BAD: Surly front desk staff that only seem to know the word "No" to everything. To be clear, management makes all the decisions here and does not appear to give any leeway to their staff. (I'm an experienced traveler, Diamond status, with low expectations). Dated property desperately in need of refurb. Breakfast was free, but not worth 3 bucks. Yuk. No "restaurant" on premises as advertised - only the breakfast (carb) processed food buffet. No bar. Rooms are "serviced" only every other day. No vacuuming. No change of sheets. NOISY. Super thin walls, can hear neighbors above, below and on either side. Sorry Hilton , but 3 stars is generous. read more

We visited the hotel this weekend - a Saturday night in August may have been why the hotel was packed and packed with families with young kids. I love kids, but I mean, there were a LOT of kids. Kids running up and down the halls. Running around in the room above ours (also throwing/dropping things late into the night, and were loud and active by 6am)... We think the floors and walls are crazy thin. Breakfast was a zoo and sounded like a loud kindergarten class, and ultimately was not the biggest Hampton Inn breakfast spread I've seen. We splurged and paid $450 for a king suite, and sadly were disappointed overall. The room was not the cleanest, and was not worth the value we paid. The staff were friendly, and it is conveniently located though! Overall- this hotel is a draw for families due to the indoor waterpark... not really a peaceful hotel. I don't see us staying here again after this weekend's experience. read more

This Hampton Inn has everything we were looking for in a hotel. We were given a very spacious and clean room. The mattress was super comfortable with clean bedding. The towels were soft. The hotel was quiet at night. Breakfast was adequate. I liked the sauteed kilbasa. It was yummy with hot sauce and honey. The mini waffles were good with strawberries and whipped cream too. Best of all the coffee passed the test. For added bonus, there are train tracks behind the hotel. I enjoyed the sound of the train and taking pictures. There are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby for any needs that might arise. They have cookies in the lobby at night. There is also a small indoor waterpark on the property. I didn't go there but there were a few families enjoying the slides in the morning when we were leaving. I will stay here again when in North Conway. It doesn't seem to be a congested as Lincoln and it gives you a quick start from the top of the Kancamagus scenic highway. It's not far from Crawford's Notch, a must see in the White mountain national park. read more

Phone rep booked wrong room that was not big enough for number of guests. When we spoke to the front desk, it was suggested we should just leave. So, we did. And booked a very nice room right across the street. That hotel was very welcoming. Maybe Hampton Inn should walk across the street for some lessons on how to treat customers. read more

This hotel is a terrible unorganized mess, first off, the staff, in particular, the front desk and manager were terrible (acting like mean girls) and purposely would not let us check in, she was allowing everyone to check in but left us sitting in the lobby after nearly freezing in the dirty- cold water slide with two cold toddlers - one with special medical needs, telling us our room was not ready, even though we watched 3/4 groups of ppl check in- to the same kinda room-as our room and really mean and hateful to do to two crying toddlers, not to mention making us very uncomfortable all of this bec I explained to her I was told different info regarding the hotel the day prior. . Also the bathroom by the pool had little bugs flying around and wet toilet paper stuck in the holes of a mat. It was disgusting and honestly do yourself a favor go elsewhere. What a great hotel, our go to when we are in town for sure. The rooms are super clean, water park, water slides, hot tub and splash pad all included with stay makes it a great place for families. This place is also super convenient to all the amazing things surrounding North Conway, nh. The manager Tim, and Angie are absolutely caring and will do anything to make your stay wonderful. The complementary breakfast in the morning is spot on with a rotating menu as stated for three days this last trip and had new options each day. Love this place and the staff! read more

We traveled with our small dog and they accommodated us perfect being near an exit door and their dog trail! Very convient ! They were friendly helpful ! Needs renovations but those are in process now and didn't interrupt our stay ! Breakfast is offered and it was delicious every day There is a menu but you can also get cereal and make your own waffles and the coffee was good! Hot tub was perfect after a long hike and they also have water slide but ask ahead for hours slides are on . Didn't affect us as we just used the hot tub. Check in was fine our room was ready but the only thing I didn't like was the so called lifeguards every time me and my brothers went down the slides we got yelled at saying we were going to fast or that we needed to wait longer for our turn to go down meanwhile every other kid is doing the same thing. When we told them how unfair they were they told us they would call the police, they also said that my mom was not watching us when she was telling us our mistakes that we need to fix. But also the so called lifeguards weren't watching either and were on their phones but the one time they were watching was when they were watching us. Then we said they are being bad lifeguards he said I'm not even a certified lifeguard so if they were going to call the police they would get in trouble not us because they're policies are outrageous read more

My husband and I stayed from June 3rd through the 5th for a quick weekend getaway to hike in the mountains. While looking for affordable hotels I noticed that they had a sort of mini waterpark so I went with it. The location is perfect- it's Conway so you honestly can't really go wrong. There's plenty of dining options in the immediate vicinity plus lots of shopping and things to see and do. If you need last minute gear on a budget, there's an awesome L.L. Bean outlet up the street near the Starbucks. Checking in was a breeze and the staff is incredible. They really go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable and feel welcomed. We ended up being upgraded to a ridiculously large King room. Like, I mean apartment sized complete with two sets of sinks, mini fridge, sofa chair, lots of lighting and a huge closet. (At that point I kinda wished I booked for more than two days.) The room was sufficiently cleaned and we didn't spot any crumbs, bugs, hair or any of the other common hotel nasties. The AC, water pressure and water temperature all worked perfectly with no issues. The windows are all screened and can be opened if you're looking for fresh air. As for any cons, we did notice a few things but nothing that really ruined the trip. The biggest was definitely the water park/pool: it's essentially 99% for the kids. The pool area looked great but unfortunately it exists just to land into from the water side and isn't safe to swim in when it's busy. (Unfortunately we had no idea the hotel would be so packed when we booked it but that's on us.) There is a pretty spacious hot tub for adults with guest time limits but to be honest, it didn't look like it was actually being enforced. We spent a good 30 minutes waiting to use it while the same group of people sat in it who were there earlier (with their kids which is a no-no). Thankfully they got out when they noticed we were waiting. I wish there were a proper pool for the adults who just want to swim as opposed to using the slide. If anything, I would highly recommend the hotel have staff try to keep a better eye on things since it's unfortunate that adults can't follow the rules. Also, as a warning to people who aren't too familiar with the area, just know that everything closes early and apparently Grubhub doesn't offer services. If you're looking to order Chinese delivery, forget it. I've traveled 'round the world and Conway is pretty much the lone and only place that literally doesn't have proper Chinese take-out. (There's one Chinese restaurant in the area for pick-up and the food is awful and crazy expensive.) Because we weren't properly prepared for this, we ordered Dominos both nights we were there (and judging by people's trash in the morning, most of the hotel guests did too)! Certainly not the hotel's fault but definitely something to keep in mind. The one thing I didn't really care for was how there was no sink in the bathroom. The room was super tiny and the sink/counter space and mirror were right outside the door. It wouldn't have been so bad if they at least had a shelf or something over the toilet to put toiletries down on. It was a bit cumbersome having to stash things on the tub or floor. We didn't have time for breakfast on either morning so I can't comment on that. Overall a very satisfying trip. We had a fabulous time hiking and were very pleased to have a comfortable room to come back to. read more

This wasn't the most impressive Hampton Inn I've stayed at. I chose this Hilton for the indoor water park for the kids. Unfortunately every time we went it was mobbed with nowhere to sit and the pool area packed. Unfortunately , we never ended up using the pool area as a result. The breakfast was also very good with a wide assortment of items. Again, it was also packed with no where to sit so we went back to our room. The staff is very friendly! The room was ok, the bed comfortable and seemed clean. Overall, the room could use a little TLC. The bathroom walls had discoloration and the door jams, doors and trim were a bit grimy. We also only got 2 towels even tho we were in a King Suite with a pullout couch. It wasn't terrible but i just expected a bit more for the hefty price and comparing to other Hampton Inns. read more

The room was fairly clean except for the things in the pictures. We complained about the tub and they said someone would clean it. Lousy job. We used to stay at the Mom and Pop motels. They were old dirty and in need a lot of work. So we decided to spend a little more and that at a chain hotel. I figured they had higher standards. Not so much. They all seem the same. Expensive but the same familiar experience you come to expect from a Hampton inn. Go for the water park!

Solid place to take your kids. A smaller kiddie pool with its own kiddie waterslide, and an even smaller slide for kids not ready for that. The larger pool has two solid water slides that is incredible for older kids. They've got a jacuzzi too- but that was out of commission during our stay. Continental Breakfast was solid, it was tweaked daily so some days may be better than others. Excellent location, right at the start of the shopping areas- and they're opening a Market Basket there soon so long stays will be that much easier. After that, it's the standard Hampton Inn, clean enough, big enough. We'll definitely come back the next time we come to North Conway read more

Thankfully we didn't have bedbugs (I don't think) but the place is disgusting. Worn sheets, towels, paint on walls and door jams is beat up. Doors barely lock. I can't say enough about not staying here. I will say our room was clean in that we didn't find dirty laundry or hair lying around. Very sad since we stayed here years ago and it was a beautiful hotel. The lobby looks wonderful, but don't let that fool you. read more

The overall stay was good the hotel seemed clean and kept up. The staff was very friendly and accommodating the only complaint I really have is the toddler slide seems really unsafe I watched two kids call off the back of it during my stay I also was disappointed the hot tub wasn't open. The space inside the water park is very small and you have to walk sideways to get around people very crowded. Again friendly staff and a clean hotel. I have been too many Hampton inns and I will say this is just not my favorite I don't know if it's because of the water park or what it is or I visit it during a very different time. It's definitely in the hustle of town which isn't bad but just not my thing. The water park was only 40 minutes which seemed like not very much time for getting your kids in and then basically having to get them out. If you're not into water slides there really isn't much to do for you there's no place to really swim. The breakfast in a bag was a joke definitely not my thing It included a banana muffin water and one day didn't even have a fruit. Overall I definitely don't think I'd be back but it wasn't the worst just wasn't my favorite read more

This hotel was a real find as they allowed us to bring our puppy, a 82 pound Black Lab, who enjoyed his vacation as much as we did. First off, the rooms are very comfortable and of good size. They are equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee station, desk, and an oversized chair to watch cable tv in. Myself, I preferred the king size bed, which was the most comfortable and supportive bed I have ever slept in at a hotel. Which is a big plus for someone who is eighteen months out from major back surgery. Plus, I asked for extra pillows and they were not the cheap pillows you usually find at hotels. Overall, it was a great room facing a view into the woods - with either a pond or frozen stream behind us. As far as Wolf, our Black Lab, was concerned, there was ample space behind the hotel to play frisbee and talk a nice long walk six times a day. A real surprise was that they had an indoor water park, with three water slides as well as a jacuzzi (a rockin' one at that) adjacent to the weight room. Now, either they have changed the definition of a free continental breakfast or in North Conway they have a different idea beyond bagels and muffins. I think it is really that the Hampton Inn just said, the heck with a continental breakfast, "we are going to knock the socks off" and make a real breakfast. The breakfast here was more like a buffet and, honestly, was awesome since breakfast is my favorite meal. Each day the main course changes, but everyday you have a fresh fruit salad, oatmeal, yogurt about eight dried cereals (Fruit Loops too, yes!), pasties, muffins, bagels, toast, hard boiled eggs and a waffle station where I made about ten waffles fresh to order topped off with real maple syrup topped off with a huge amount of whipped cream. I am going to miss that. This morning they had cheese omelets, breakfast sausage links and a bagel topper as well. My favorite was their home-fries and Western Omelette though. To put this in perspective, you get an awesome breakfast that you easily would spend $15-$20 at a restaurant for per person included! How awesome is that? Oh, I forgot to mention that they have a little store where you can get late night snacks and heat them up in the room or sit in front of the fireplace and watch television in a expansive room that doubles as the eating area for breakfast. All day long you have coffee and tea and when you return to the hotel after your daily adventures you are greeted with fresh homemade chocolate chip cookies that are pretty excellent and hard not to eat two or three! But the real star of the place were the people. Wolf was the local celebrity in the hotel, always carrying a toy in his mouth, and he made friends with all of the staff who genuinely were interested in him and made him feel like a king adorned with doggie biscuits, hugs and pets at every turn. That was a great feeling for his Dog Dad, to see him included in a family vacation! But beyond being kind and welcoming to Wolf, from the cleaning woman, Nancy, to the yard maintenance man, to the kitchen staff and finally to every one at the front desk, this hotel is characterized by being really friendly. I mean genuinely friendly. They made our stay really nice. You don't find this variety of friendly very often and it really made the trip excellent! Just a great combination of features, the Hampton here has it all - dog friendly, great rooms, awesome facility features (I forgot the arcade!) and an excellent, courteous, efficient and super friendly staff. Anyone can make your stay satisfactory. The Hampton Inn at North Conway however, made it a memorable and happy experience! They were more than the extra mile to do so, and should be recognized for their excellence. Five stars all around! read more

I regularly stay at Hampton Inns because they are reliably comfortable and clean. This one is those things. But the rooms are seriously ready for upgrades. Yucky brown out of date furniture, bathrooms are dated and missing some of the nice conveniences of other Hampton Inns. read more
