This was a nice restaurant within a gorgeous casino and resort grounds, here's why: Small, but high quality: The restaurant has a small exposed room that is accessible from the hotel as well as a private party room in the back. Professional: The staff were professional and courteous with our large group. However, I never got a coffee I had asked for, so that was a bummer. The hostess was awesome; we had parked on the other side of the restaurant and she was able to get our cars brought around for us during dessert. Good food: I had a Wild Mushroom Salad, Lobster Risotto, and Halibut. The fish was bland, so I was not pleased there. However, the mushroom salad and lobster risotto were absolutely delicious. Do NOT waste your time with this place! We were there this morning for brunch. The hostess was completely incompetent. She was unable to set a table and seat a party without taking 30 (YES 30 minutes) to complete the one task. Ourselves and one other family just stood there, looking at a completely empty restaurant the whole time. When I waked in and found a manager to advise of the excessive wait time, he said someone would be right out, only NO ONE ever came out. Except the aforementioned incompetent hostess who said she would need more time to seat a third party that was waiting even longer than us! She obviously was not able to accomplish more than one task at a time, and even that gave her great difficultly. The friendly front desk staff was kind enough to suggest the Club House. THEY were excellent and the service was exceptional! Perhaps the Wildflowers staff could learn a few pointers. We won't be going back to this place ever! read more

I will try to be as fair as possible. This was not a special event dinner just a typical dinner for us. Dinner for two foie gras and scallop apps - scallop was good foie gras left much to be desired. potato wrapped sea bass pretty good nothing to exciting. the chioppino sea bass I cant believe they let it out of the kitchen over cooked chewy and fishy the mussles served with it should not have been eaten. Service was ok nothing special. Ambiance pretty stuffy and not inviting if you want to look out over a patio you will be satisified with the view. Wine selections not too hot. Plent of better places in the CNY area. read more

Absolute best experience I've had in quite some time. We had a 9pm reservation for dinner. 5 course valentines dinner, eat plate was absolutely Amazing and all were completely different. Service was impeccable, the restaurant supervisor and our waitress worked together to get us all of our food, one course after the next, everything was PERFECT. Our last name was printed on the menu. The next morning we had a reservation for breakfast at 10:45. The eggs Benedict was by far the best that i have had yet. Service was a beyond what was expected, and the bill was surprisingly reasonable. This restaurant is small, and romantic. If your looking for a quiet romantic dinner, this place is a MUST. Don't leave the resort without paying a visit. I will come back every opportunity that I have ! read more

We were celebrating our Friends' 1-Year Wedding Anniversary and couldn't have been more disappointed with our dining experience at Wildflowers. The menu tries hard to be progressive and unique but the overall execution is extremely mediocre and the dining service is extremely slow and inconsistent. And to add insult to injury, the Wildflowers staff charged us for a full bottle of wine that was never served to us and we then find out that we were charged for the original erroneous bill that included the extra bottle of wine that was never served! At the conclusion of our dining, we had the Staff re-charge to the revised bill minus the extra bottle of wine yet we ended up double-charged and still in current dispute with the Wildflowers management. This is absolutely unacceptable and should not be tolerated by anyone. Luckily, we had a proper dining experience the next evening at TS Steakhouse but we are still scarred by our horrendous service at Wildflowers. read more

On vacation this August upstate NY . Ate in several good restaurants in Saratoga,Sagamore in Lake George but this was far above the others . Food ,service and atmoshere were excellent. Wish I had the recepie for the artichoke soup I had. read more

Came here for dinner and for breakfast during a weekend get away with my boyfriend in January. This restaurant is wonderful and I would highly recommend checking this place out. I was surprised that the reviews were not as high as I expected. My boyfriend and I are total foodies and we thought the food was exceptional. The Dover sol was amazing for dinner, and the breakfast had unique and delicious items to choose from. But the reason I give this restaurant such a high rating is due to the service and the little details that they focus so much on to make your experience so unforgettable. We made a reservation and they printed our parties name on our menus with the date. They also gave us some small plates between courses from the chef, as well as plate cleansers and a special treat after dinner. The restaurant is also small and beautiful and has a very romantic setting at night. I love this place and can't wait to return. read more
