We went on a Rocky Mountain Winter Adventure at the beginning of February 2026. It was the off-season for Estes Park, but the weather was beautiful. There was only 3 of us other than the tour guide. Our tour guide, CE was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and willing to make the tour whatever we wanted it to be! We saw deer, elk, and various birds. Again, this was the off-season, so may be able to spot more in different times of the year. We were offered snacks, water, and hot chocolate. There was little snow, but we were able to sled! All in all, would recommend this tour/excursion to anyone looking to experience the Rocky Mountain National Park! read more

WOW. The views were out of this world. I think our tour guide was Wesley (I remember he lived in an RV with his gf), but I might have his name wrong. He was an amazing tour guide. He was very informative. Had some dad jokes. Was a good driver bc I wouldn't trust myself on road haha. It was absolutely terrifying at some points. I'm afraid of heights. This was the worst experience ever. We requested Dan and we were told we would have Dan. The day of we show up with 19 people I find out we won't have Dave and Jessica the lady at the front was like oh no one called you!? Umm no cause we would if either cancelled or rescheduled. We paid a total of 1700 for everything and it was sub par. Our driver played sad music that makes you want to cry. And the one we picked was the rockin roller coaster which is literally EXACTLY like the night time s'mores one. When I talked to the owner she was no help either. Overall I won't ever go back there because of the lack of communication and the lame driver we had that played the worst music. Everyone that was on our car which was 13 of us kept complaining about the music and with each time he changed it, it just got worse. If you're off roading in a big humvee you want some rock or some up beat music. If you end up getting Keith I would absolutely cancel your ride! This will be the LAST time I waste my money on this establishment. Update to owners response, one you NEVER said he was off on Mondays for one! So you can quit lying there, two you offered me two options one a free ride and two my money back. I refused both because I why would I ride AGAIN with a company that lies. My sister was in the room when we had the whole conversation so you can stop lying at anytime to save the reputation of your business. Three I stayed till myself and kept quite the whole time so that I didn't get rude with anyone. Y'all are liars and it's sad. We were in Estes Park for the week with my parents who have mobility concerns. Before we booked, we expressed some of our concerns to the owner who responded promptly. Talk about a great start! The day of the tour, Dave was energetic and entertaining. The custom-made jeeps were perfect for the trip, and Dave provided an incredible wealth of information. Weather prevented us from our expected tour (Top of the World), but he quickly redirected us and found other areas to explore instead. We have no regrets! Remember what I originally asked about my parents? Dave went out of his way to make sure my father could get on and off the jeep, assisting throughout the tour. That alone is incredible! We won't hold his Chicago preference over him, though I suppose I should deduct some points for that (I kid, I kid). Seriously - this tour was simply wonderful, and we had no regrets. So fun! If you're in the area and have time to spare, I would definitely recommend trying out this tour. Our guide, Alexis, was absolutely amazing. She was very educational and accommodating -- she even stopped at our request to gaze at the stars up in the mountain after our tour. She was very kind and it didn't feel like a stranger was driving us around, more like a friend. She helped our group grow in our appreciation of nature (which I didn't even know could grow any more than what it was already). Besides for the beautiful view and the amazing, helpful guides, I feel like the group stops could be a bit shorter. We stopped about three times during the tour, got out of the vehicle to walk over to a patch in the forest or on the mountain to discuss various parts of nature. During the first stop we discussed trees, natives plants and animals, etc. While the content was interesting, it was dragged out way too long. What could've been a 5-10 minute stop was much longer and you could tell that most of the guests got bored and lost interest as it went on. The second stop was up to the fire tower, it also felt on the longer side, however it definitely better than the first one considering that guests had things to do there while unguided. Take photos, explore, etc. The third stop, food, also felt much longer than it had to be. The ride down was nice, (again, Alexis was AMAZING. I am genuinely so happy she stopped for us to stargaze when we requested it haha, that moment made the night). In summary, the guides are absolutely amazing. They are very hospitable, kind, and they know what they're talking about! The tour is absolutely beautiful and memorable. However, I believe that the stops during the tour felt dragged out, long, and simply overdone. In the end, I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone interested. Super awesome tour! The lady at the front desk is super nice, very informative and so welcoming. We also had a blast with joe. He was informative and very knowledgeable in a whole bunch of stuff around Estes park. We got to drive around when the snow was going at it hard so everything was even more beautiful. It was our first time in Colorado and if it's your first time in Estes park I recommend this tour. We got to see a bunch of animals around and even got to go inside the Estes state park and got to see more snow than I've ever seen (Dallas, Texas). As the tour continued, joe had a variety of snacks like of chips, salt crackers, protein bars and all accompanied with a cooler full of sprite and Cokes and water. Aside from that the tour is also BYOB so we took a few brewskis to enjoy the ride even "better"! At the end of the scenic route we where took to a side of a mountain where you could ride down with some sleighs. They provide extra clothes incase you brought jeans or some other type of clothes not made to get wet and at the very end of it all they provide some homemade hot chocolate. Can't beat that!!! To me, this is a place that knows how to run a business. Very friendly, helpful, accommodating people made us feel right at home. Place is sort of small, but very homey, clean, and has seats. Restroom is a shared space between other business surrounding it, so don't expect it to be so clean. If I could leave 6 stars I would. A friend recommended this business to us for an off road 4X4 excursion up in Estes Park. We are SO glad they did! Everything about it was perfect, from booking to the end of it. We booked the Panoramic Peak Photo Tour, considered a moderate off road excursion. It was perfect! A HUGE shout out to our driver/guide Sadie-she was so knowledgeable, so fun-you could tell she really enjoyed her job. The truck was fabulous with just a tiny bit of roller coaster-y action (however, definitely empty your bladder before you hop on!) The tour was 3 1/2 hours and we went all over! What to say about life on the WildSide? I must admit, it was my first time. I stepped aboard the Toyota Super Cruiser accompanied with some nerves. What would we do from 9:30 in the morning to 1 pm in this contraption? Fears aside, I pulled the trigger, and sat riding shotgun alongside my tour guide: Captain Dan. Those three and a half hours quickly became a blur as I was suddenly immersed in a constant flow of spoken knowledge coming from Captain Dan. Historically, he was well versed, speaking on the impact and legacy of the Stanley brothers. Ecologically, he may have been better, rattling off fact after fact (did you know the bark of Aspens contains Chlorophyll?!) And finally, in terms of age appropriate humor, he was well timed (a rare trait) with every joke and invited guest participation. Of course, the sights were incredible. It's Rocky Mountain National Park. But it's the hospitality of the guides that take these places from adequate to excellent. This tour fills up so book it early to get the time slot you want. The Rockin Roller coaster tour was worth every penny. Trip was end of July but can't choose that month as an option for some reason. We loved every minute of it. We had done the Green Jeep Tour of RMNP which was enjoyable but I would highly recommend Wild Side for that one or any tour. We would have done the one at night but if was booked. Forest couldn't have been any better of a guide and music was awesome too. Bring a jacket! It gets cold and windy. Snacks and water at the pavilion were included. It is very bumpy and you will bounce out of your seat. We LOVED Sadie!! Sadie took my family along the Top of the World tour and it was truly a life changing experience. Sadie's knowledge of the historical landmarks, native plants, wildlife and mountains blew us away. We learned SO much about common sights that we never knew before. Sadie also has great taste in music and played some truly soul-touching tunes to appreciate the views to. We were lucky enough to see Moose, Elk, Deer, Marmot, Pika, and a few other animals on our trip up to the Alpine Tundra, and Sadie let us pull off to the side of the road to appreciate them all! The vehicle we drove (the Badger) was SO cool and very comfortable. Sadie's driving made me feel so safe on the narrow and steep roads. She took some amazing pictures with us, shared her binoculars, and offered some really tasty snacks to everyone. The whole family agreed that this was our favorite experience ever.
