We started with the Vietnamese Pork Belly Tostadosas an appetizer. They were super yummy although a little messy to eat. Maybe would be less messy as a taco. For our mains my husband had the ribeye and I had the Blueberry Prosciutto Pizza. The steak was perfectly cooked (yes I stole a bite) and the potato wedges were crispy but yet creamy on the inside. The flavor on my pizza was amazing but it was pretty soggy in the middle, I had to fold it over to get it to my mouth. I'm sure they were fresh blueberries so I'm not sure where all the moisture came from to make it soggy. Ive had that happen sometimes with other wood fire ovens. Nonetheless, I can't wait to go back to try all the things on the menu!

The staff was welcoming and friendly but we were seated and forgotten about for 10+ minutes and then it took another 10 minutes to get our beer & wine. We were one of three tables; there were plenty of staff. I had to get up to request condiments and later flag the waitress down for another drink. The food was thrown together with very little care & my burger was missing all the toppings described on the menu and our sides were mixed up. All this with the "Manager" right there, strolling around casually chatting with her staff. Very Disappointing!

We arrived at the expected time frame for pickup. We requested: the cook to be rare, no bbq, ketchup on the side and cut in half. Burger was cut in half. Check. It did not have bbq sauce. Check. Ketchup on the side. Check. It was overcooked. Sad. The bacon and blue cheese was really good! The bacon was thick, not crispy. And from what I understand, it is from their ranch. The burger patties (came with two) was just overcooked and a little dry. My friend said it was salty, I couldn't tell if it was the seasoning or blue cheese. The build for it was decent- no other toppings on it to allow the bacon and cheese to shine. The fries were not enjoyable. I imagine this is something best enjoyed fresh and hot. Service for pick up was very friendly. Environment was clean. They have taxidermy all over the wall. Bathroom was clean. I'd like to try this place again, but to eat in house, if I'm ever up in the area again. The bacon is worth it. They have a full menu online, used Toast to order ahead, which was very convenient. The only feedback is the menu online doesn't include descriptions so I bounced between a yelp post with a photo of menu explaining the burgers.

Our kids are picky little foodies and treat every meal like they are making a youtube review for it. They LOVED everything, giving 9 and 10 stars to everything. My western burger was also excellent, and they have "the good ice" for sodas. We liked the traditional fries more than the curly fries. The regular fries still taste like potato, fluffy inside and crispy outside. The shake flavors were all good, clearly handmade. Everything was obviously very fresh and portion sizes left no doubt that the kids left with full tanks. My husband and I could barely finish our food. Everyone was beyond nice, not always the case when you arrive with 6 kids. The next day the kids started right up with wanting to go back, but we had planned to hit Bob's Ranch House. Sadly they are now closed due to a fire, but the news was met with cheers from the kids since it meant another trip to Dotty's. The kids wanted orange soda instead of shakes and when I saw that wasn't an option on the soda fountain, staff offered to make them from scratch. The kids' minds were BLOWN! They praised the ice, the flavor, the consistency. I don't even like soda but can confirm, the balance was perfect. I tried the chicken this time, easily best chicken strip I've had. Very juicy, perfectly seasoned. My 8 year old took a bite and stole the tray, which was fine because it was so much food. They've maintained some of the vintage/retro aesthetic, we definitely enjoyed the little hit of nostalgia. My only suggestion would be to make tipping through apple pay possible. Fortunately we had some cash on hand but I rarely do and I definitely wanted to tip this food and service! We hope Dotty's is still here for our future family trips to Etna.
