I am leaving this review because I have been coming here for years and today for some reason I had the WORST anxiety. The service here used to be decent but the new hygienist did a terrible job and rushed cleaning, did not polish my teeth, and tried to force fluoride treatment on me and my children by calling it "vitamins." Flouride is NOT a vitamin, it's a neurotoxin! "Oh that's just what the doctor tells us to calm it." WTF. On top of that the dentist refused to recement a loose crown because this was the third time they did it incorrectly. Cheap services, and condescending comments. DO NOT GO HERE! They will be shut down soon by the licensing board for their gross negligence and fraud! read more

Not only is Dr. Wiley an extremely competent professional in her field of dentistry and treating mild sleep apnea through nightlase but she is also kind, warm and caring individual who goes beyond normal standards to provide compassionate care for her patients. The best!!! First let me say that my mother is a temp dental hygienist of 15 years who has worked with dozens of dentists in the Sacramento area. When I called her last week about a wisdom toothache emergency her first words were, "Go see Dr. Wiley. She is the best. She is the only dentist I trust. She is conservative. She won't tell you that you need something done if you don't. " Dr. Wiley was able to fit me in within hours of my call. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. Even while in excruciating pain I appreciated that they greeted me by name. Also, their suite is very nicely furnished and has all of the state-of-the-art equipment. It was very warm and calming, which I certainly needed that day. Her assistant was as gentle as could be when taking the x-rays and was genuinely concerned with my comfort. When Dr. Wiley came in she quickly diagnosed me and said the wisdom tooth had to go. Having a tooth pulled, especially a wisdom tooth is a torturous experience but I would recommend nobody more that Dr. Wiley and her staff. She talked me through the process and constantly asked how I was doing and reassured me of her progress, all while her assistant held and stroked my hand to comfort me. (I'm kind of a big baby). The overall feeling I had was that they really cared. I wasn't just another patient and another appointment...I was important. And that took a lot of stress away that I think most people feel when they go to the dentist, even for routine check-ups. A day that could have been much worse was made better because of Dr. Wiley and her staff. So much though that I will continue to make the hour and a half drive from San Francisco to Dixon for every future dental appointment that I make. read more

Love the decor in the office, love that they have the latest technology but it doesn't make up for their lack of professionalism. The assistants stare and gossip every chance they get. Not friendly and super snoby. I went about 4 times to give them a good chance but decided I would rather go somewhere less pretty but more professional and with better work quality. I had a fill done at Wiley's and it affected sensitivity in one of my front teeth. I was numb for more than a day when I am not usually numb for more than a couple of hours. I also had a cleaning done, by the time I got out of there I had no makeup on my face since it had been washed out from all the water the hygienist machine squirted in my face. Nice place to look at, horrible place to be. Sad to say because instead of empowered professional women, it's just a gossip spot. SMH. read more

When someone asks for a recommendation for a dentist, people almost always say "Oh, my dentist is the best. You need to see him / her". Well, the fact is, not all of them are the best. MY dentist is. Now for a short story explaining why Kristina Wiley is my dentist..... Years ago, I ran into a gentleman in a local coffee shop. Somehow, our conversation turned to dental work. I had mentioned my regular dentist of over 20 years had retired, and that I was seeing a new (new to me) dentist, Dr. Wiley. The man immediately responded telling me how much he appreciated her talent, knowledge, and skill. He went on to say Dr. Wiley saved his life. He explained that during a recent visit, he'd been feeling odd all day. He said when Dr. Wiley entered the treatment room, she greeted him, chatted briefly with him, looked carefully at his eyes, held his hand, took his pulse, and went on to tell him that she believed he was experiencing a medical crisis, and that his dental visit would have to wait. To make a long story short... The man WAS experiencing medical emergency. He said he made it to the emergency room in time for the ER doctor tell him how lucky he was that it was caught early. A few months later, when I was in the office for a checkup, I mentioned to Dr. Wiley the conversation I had with the man. She humbly told me that she keeps an eye on not only our dental health, but our health in general. Well, she can be as humble as she wants.... but I know how much that man appreciated her professionalism, skill, compassion and expertise that day. That's why Dr. Wiley will be my dentist until she decides to retire. Oh, may I also mention that she has taken great care of my chicklets for well over a dozen years. Due to cursory brushing and no flossing, I have had way too much experience with dentists. I reformed 45 years ago and am happy to report almost zero problems since. Floss! So I know dentists. She is EXCELLENT with him & always makes him feel like he is her favorite patient. She never tried to sell us extra treatments & her prices are reasonable. Not advertised as a pediatric dentist, but they are excellent with kids! I took a chance and took my daughter here for her very first dentist check and cleaning rather than going to a pediatric dentist and was delightfully surprised. The office staff is welcoming and friendly, the office itself is absolutely beautiful - decor is more like a spa than a dentist office! Dr. Wiley and her technicians are wonderful with kids and have a great kids dental exam room. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone! read more

This establishment is a true gem. I recently moved to Dixon and I am so happy that I found Dr. Wiley's office. When I first called, I spoke with Liz. I've never had a more pleasant experience, scheduling an appointment. She was so friendly and warm. I had to call back because I didn't have all of my insurance information in front of me. When I did call back, I spoke with another representative who was also very sweet. I regret that I can't remember her name however, she finished scheduling my appointment for me and walked me through the process of filling out my new patient information, on their website. I completely understand why they want you to fill this out prior to your appointment. If they asked these questions at the time of the appointment, my visit would be much longer than expected and other patients would also suffer the wait so, I much appreciate this option/standard. When I arrived for my appointment, I was immediately impressed with the decor and atmosphere. The waiting area and exam rooms are so inviting and comfortable. I was greeted by my dental assistant, Jena, shortly after checking in. She was wonderful! Like most dental exam rooms, the work station was behind my chair but Jena made sure to give me little updates every time she walked behind me to make sure I knew she was still there and I wasn't left wondering what was going on. She had to take a number of x-rays (since I haven't seen a dentist in so long) and used a hand held x-ray machine that was so nice for us both, I'm sure. The process was super quick. Jena talked to me and made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Wiley stepped in less than a minute after Jena was finished. She introduced herself and took the time to listen to my concerns. Though I was there for a sensitive tooth, Dr. Wiley found that I have other issues that resulted in my cracked tooth, causeing sensitivity. I completely trust every word she said. Her exam was thorough and painless. Before she began, she noticed I was in a skirt and asked if she could get me a blanket because it was a little cold under the vent. This was the nicest touch. The blanket was so fluffy and soft, I wanted to take it home. I was also given glasses to protect my eyes from the bright light for the exam. Once my exam was complete, I was given a treatment plan. I didn't feel any pressure to schedule my next appointment. I really felt like they wanted to help me when I was ready. I scheduled my next appointment immediately. I am so happy I that I found Dr. Wiley and her staff. This is the most pleasant dental office I think anyone could visit. Thank you for everything! read more

Outstanding service by Dr. Wiley and her entire staff!!!!!! I never feel like a number when I go here. My family (Wife and 5 yr old son) have been going here since 2010 and I have since I retired from the Air Force 2 yrs ago (2012). The staff is always concerned about my comfort throughout my visit and although this is not advertised as a pediatric dentist, you can't go wrong here. My son absolutely loves coming here and is always excited when I tell him what the appointment is. Very happy that customer service like this still exists. read more

I'm from out of the are and wanted to find a dentist closer to home. A friend of mine recommend this office. I am a very busy person and it's hard to find time for things like this. I had an appointment for 2 weeks out and I was asked to fill out a form online. I didn't get a chance to do it. (Totally my fault) But when I walked in for my appointment the gal told me they had been trying to get ahold of me. I remembered seeing 1 missed call the day before so that made sense. But then she told me they couldn't see me because that form wasn't filled out online prior to my appointment. I asked her if I could fill it out now and she said no. They tried to contact me. I asked why a message wasn't left and then she said "it wouldn't allow us to." I said what do you mean "it wouldn't allow you to? I have a voicemail." She said "it wasn't working." I get voice mails every day. So how can other people leave me messages and they couldn't? At that point I felt like she was lying to me. When I saw the missed call, I honestly thought it was an appointment reminder. I would hope that any business would understand that people's lives outside of visiting their office can be very very busy and as a patient I may have made a mistake and forgot to fill it out. I showed up early to the appointment so that I could fill out anything necessary. After all, I really need a cleaning!! But the lady behind the counter was such a turn off. As if I was annoying her because I didn't do what I was supposed to before I came in. Where's the helping hand? Where's the empathy? Where's the understanding for my situation? The original gal I talked to that set my appointment was so pleasant. Too bad she wasn't working today. My experience may have been better. I'm just going to go to my old dentist.
