This was the WORST care and treatment I have ever had with a business let alone a Dental Office…read more Chose this Office because it was in town and wanted someone close and a local business. WRONG!!!! Ended up in Elk Grove for a root canal and another work needed. Ended up continuing to travel to Elk Grove because Doctor does not come to Dixon ( was not aware I would have to continueto go there). Root canal had issues starting with the so called temp crowns used that come off because not enough material is used. Went back for temp replacement 2x on the same tooth, and canal was exposed for a week. Yes, they knew. Complained days later after the root canal that i was still feeling pain in the tooth that had the root canal and that's when the run around began. I did go back to see a different dr to check on the pain I was still having and prescribed antibiotics. Took them, still sensitivity in the tooth. Took x-ray seen infection and prescribed more antibiotics and then tried to charge me for the x-ray to check on the problem tooth. Then rescheduled again for the Elk Grove office. I ended up going to Elk Grove appointments at least 3x/4x just to be told would have to see Dr again. They kept giving me appointments that I went to , but I never seen the dentist after the original root canal. They (Office manager and reception would schedule appointments and cancel appointments and never tried to fix the issue, just wasted my time and gas. All I wanted was to fix the tooth so I had no more pain. This run around went on for months. This Dr. refused to treat the problem and just referred to someone else. I had paid my portion of the bill as well as the insurance had paid. This cost me 2k out of pocket and they still left me in pain and still needing further treatment and costing me more out of pocket money. DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS. SHADEY FROM THE TIME YOU ENTER THE DOOR. They deserve a 0 a 1 rating is still Too high for this Office and team

This is the worst dentist I've been to by far. I went in to get my wisdom tooth pulled. Super bad service.

The staff is very pleasant, sweet, helpful and nice. So is Dr. Ramirez--very kind, pleasant, nice…read more They seem to really try to please their customers with kind remarks, quick response to setting up an appointment, and pleasantries during a visit. Dr. Ramirez has some of the latest equipment to do work on your mouth. He ws actually pretty good about giving me injections, and he didn't hurt me much. But my son told me that, when my son said it hurt, that the dentist ignored him, and seemed to become more aggressive commenting about my son being a complainer. My son dislikes what he sees as Dr. Ramirez' distainful attitude toward him and complained every time I set up an appointment for him. But when I returned because my root canal was infected (the first one I've ever had done), they were like deer in the headlights--wide eyed, not responsive. They would not respond at all to my complaint. It almost felt like the Stepford Wives in that they did not even hear me but went about their own plan doing good. It felt like the staff was programmed not to respond to any complaints--almost like the Stepford Wives. The next time, six month later, I complained again. The deer in the headlights came out, and nothing was said. Did you ever see the Stepford Wives? I saw the movie, and these folks were doing the same thing! I kid you not! It seemed almost like any complaints were treated that way on a regular basis. They literally said nothing! They looked at each other with what appeared to be recognition that something was said, but it appeared that nobody really understood me. Suddenly, I was speaking Yiddish or Ainu or Bikya. It was weird, unnerving, and did work to shut me up (for a while). I began wondering if I too was a part of the Stepford system. So for two years, I went on with life with an infected tooth. I tried to comment about my problem to them twice, but they didn't respond, cleaned my teeth, took X-rays, and sent me on my way with a clean dental bill of health. But it hurt, and when I told them, they didn't hear me. Stepford? Nothing at all was said about my infected tooth! Nothing! Stepford seemed to have come to Dixon! I got sicker and sicker in several ways, and I finally went to someone else to redo it. Unfortunately when a person has an infection for more than a year, there are consequences that don't seem to go away quickly. I'm still trying to deal with the health issues that the infected tooth created. I can't see a dentist that is going to ignore my problems. Ignoring an infection and allowing it to become systemic because you don't want to admit there is a problem IS a problem. Back to your regular broadcast. The staff is very pleasant--almost Stepford Wives pleasant.

I've been struggling with my crown ever since I had it done and finally decided to get it checked…read moreout. Dr. Ramirez office was able to schedule me very quickly. I have an enormous fear of the dentist and was terrified what I was going to hear after a two year break in between cleanings but I went. Let me just say from someone who never thought they could make it through a cleaning without being sedated, this was the BEST DENTAL experience I have ever had. Hands down. The staff was also incredible! Now I will be making sure I do my cleanings every couple months! I can't believe I waited this long and this great of a dentist has been close by this whole time.
