I found Goldtree through a google search, and saw they were a local company, so I gave them a call. They got back to me promptly (within about 10 minutes). As luck would have it, they were actually going to be in my area doing some other yards later in the day, and said they would come by to give an estimate, and if accepted, do the work. They showed up as scheduled, and Brian took a look around, and gave me an estimate to include mowing and trimming. Their full service actually includes more, but I wasn't that concerned with blowing debris, edging, etc. I just wanted my weeds to be back under control. The price was reasonable, and one of the things I liked is that Goldtree is willing to do a One-time service. Other lawn companies want you to sign a 5 (or more) visit contract. Anyway, Brian and his team got the job done, and about 30 minutes after they started, my lawn no longer looked like a jungle. Given their response, I would not hesitate to use them for other lawn care issues - from basic maintenance to reseeding to re-sodding.

Two of the trees were roots were emerging from the ground and in my eyes leaning, towering over my home as if any day, I would find the tree in my home. NOT!! The fall was a disaster, black walnut and leaves everywhere, but what was the most scary was it damaged one could cause damage to my neighbor's home. NOT !! I never realized the labor I cutting down trees, especially huge ones, the cutting it up and carrying it to the truck. The work is not for the weak .... it takes alot of strength; strong arms and most important, you MUST know what you are doing. Just seeing them pulling down a tree with a rope tree, what can I say... never think the cost of tree removals are too much, because it is more than a saw involved. Apparently a landscaping service can't clean up large clods of dirt which I could pick up by hand and rake through. To be fair. Pros: Responsive and quick to come out to give a quote and set a day for the work to be done. Clear communication when work had to be split up into two separate times because his crew contracted Covid and they did not have the manpower. Cons: Left a mess on the lawn after removing sod. I accept that some soil would be left after removing sod but this was an unacceptable amount. Instead of cutting the sod and rolling it (they did this for the first piece) they resorted to just throwing it around. Had to spent another 3 hours the next day shovelling clods of sod and dirt to clean up the mess ( filled up an entire wheelbarrow full of dirt and rocks) Mulched the beds as agreed on but left mulch on lawn as well as out of flower bed. First 3 pictures show the quality of work Beck's left and the 4th picture shows how it looked after I cleaned up with minimal tools (aka my hands, shovel and rake).

Once the door was repaired she noticed how the sliding part was hard to move around and let him know of that issue and he stated he will oil it for her then he asked for a payment for the grass being cut and she repeated what he told her about how the grass cut will be free. He replied back and said I just said that cause I was coming back to fix the glass. They talked back and forth about it and in a rude manner he told her she can find someone else to fix the door and the grass and left. My grandmother is a 85 year old women who lives on her own and I feel like they tried to get over on her for the damage they made...I will not recommend them to no one and will be letter others in the neighborhood who use them know of this behavior!

I called Presidential yesterday along with a few other folks to ask for an estimate. Allen was the most professional and best communicator of them all. He was able to come by the house this morning and after agreeing on pricing for the season (extremely competitive and reasonable), he did our lawn which had gotten a bit unruly and did really excellent work. Allen responds quickly to texts and seems very receptive to feedback. Looking forward to seeing how the rest of the season goes and will post an update!
