When the nerve died in the tooth due to his poor practice ( according to a specialist), they canceled our appointment and said to go somewhere else via text message. Based on other reviews I don't know how this place is still open. If it was an option I would give them a zero out of 10.

The process took a year and a half due to intense pain…read moreafter having two teeth pulled to make room for the implants, waiting for bone growth, numerous delays waiting for materials, lack of communication from the dental office, and some procedures having to be repeated. The implants were finally completed last June. A few days later, I began suffering from face pain which I attributed to sinus pain. Three visits to an ENT and a sinus CAT scan could not find a reason for the pain. Then I saw allergist and had allergy testing. No problem was found. I then thought that maybe there was a problem with the implant and saw Dr. Saoud who took an X-ray and assured me there was no problem with the implants. About a week later, the bridge that attached to the implant unexpectedly fell out. Immediately the pain I'd been experiencing for six months disappeared. I then realized that the pain was most likely due to something with the implants. I found another dentist who checked the implants and found the implants were loose and at an angle rather than being straight. He tightened them and reinstalled the bridge. No more pain. Six months of suffering because of the implants were not sufficiently tightened. If I had to do it again, I would go to a dentist who specializes in implants. I have decided to stay with the dentist who quickly found and corrected the problem.

I arrived 10 minutes early and waited almost an hour in the waiting area with no indication when I would see the dentist. While I waited, I was asked to pay the balance which I declined until after the services were rendered. I could not wait any longer and needed to leave to return to work. I expected the office to call to apologize but instead, I called after 2 weeks. I spoke with the Office Manager, Lindsey, and instead of an apology, she gave me excuses. I asked her to have the doctor call me but I did not receive a call from him. I called back after a week and asked Jenny for an appointment and the soonest was 5/19/2026. Jenny told me she would put me on the list in the event there was a cancellation, I would be called. The next day I received a text message that there was an open appointment on 5/5/2026. I confirmed. When I arrived, I waited in the waiting area for 20 minutes. When I was escorted to the back, I expressed the discomfort I was experiencing and the relief that I was there to remove the temporary crown. I was told the appointment was for a cleaning, not to put in the permanent crown. I could not believe it! I could not be seen that day, but I would be put back on the list in the event of a cancellation. I finally got the permanent crown on 5/19/2026. I requested my dental records and have changed to the Silberman Dental Group. The Silberman Dental Group does crowns same day and their customer service is impeccable!

There seems to be a very high staff turnover rate, which impacts the quality of service. Records are often disorganized--x-rays get lost, charts can't be located, and billing issues are a recurring problem. My most recent visit was especially disappointing. The cleaning felt rushed and incomplete, and it didn't feel like my teeth were properly cared for. As a result, this will be my last visit. I'll be scheduling with another provider to have my teeth cleaned properly.

My deciding factor on finding another practice is when they asked me if I wanted a fluoride treatment after my cleaning...I agreed but after the cleaning and x-rays and lecture by the doctor, they never did the fluoride treatment; the guy at the desk then did ask if I got the fluoride (to his credit) and I thought and said, "Gee, I don't think so, come to think of it...they did the cleaning and x-rays and such and actually, I don't think they ever did..." He asked someone and confirmed it wasn't done. BUT someone had presented the paperwork to the front desk as the fluoride having been done. This almost slipped through the cracks and I also may not have noticed since the receipt they give you is not itemized. Attention to detail, please. I'm just glad it was was a fluoride treatment they forgot and not something more severe like forgetting something during oral surgery. I think this place has improved after the last doctor was there, who put a crown in to prevent a tooth from being infected but then it actually got infected anyway AFTER he put the crown in, and I had to pay thousands more to have the current doctor to fix it. So, in summary, maybe try some place else.

Most dental offices are open three-days a week. I called Dr. Wilhelm's office which was closed and left a message on his recorder explaining my problem and continued calling other dental offices. Within an hour Ginger, in Dr. Wilhelm's office, had reviewed my message, called me back, and told me that Dr. Wilhelm would open his office for me. I was in his dental chair an hour later. Dr. Wilhelm explained what was happening and stabilized my dental emergency with medication. On my next visit, he had reviewed my x-rays, assessed the issue, and explained what was needed to resolve my problems. "Dr. Eric" thus became my new dentist. Dr. Eric developed a comprehensive plan to upgrade my dental issues that caused my emergency. This plan involved extractions, a root canal, implants, a new bridge, and crown work. For nearly 14 months Dr. Eric executed the plan flawlessly and coordinated the work with other dental specialists. After many visits to Dr. Eric's office and many interactions with his very professional staff (Ginger and Monica) my experiences and treatments have been outstanding. Dr. Eric is the best dentist that I have ever known. He has earned my respect for his skills and knowledge. Dr. Eric and his staff are outstanding professionals. The receptionist was courteous and helpful with scheduling appointments and handling my two insurance policies for maximum yield.
