It costs less, happens faster, and is way easier and more convenient to schedule. My screen repair took all of 10 minutes for a perfect result. I wasted more time at the "brand store" waiting to talk to an employee. Breaking your phone sucks. But at least fixing it doesn't have to. If--okay, statistically speaking, when--I break my phone screen again, at least I know that I can get it fixed quickly here for a fair price. NOTE: for the curious, I'm writing this 6 weeks after my visit and my repaired screen is still doing great.
