All the work was done with quality and class and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Our house was built in the late 60's and we have those dreaded double front doors. I call the one side a dummy door because it's unusable since the back of it is the wall to a bedroom closet. We'd been dreading having this replaced because we watched our neighbor have the same type door replaced and his contractor (not MS&G) had a really hard time of it. Not the case with MS&G. However, the process of obtaining a quote was indeed as easy as Zen Windows website makes it out to be; check out their website and watch the videos. I completed their form with the number of windows, approximate size and the requirement that the windows must meet a minimum efficiency. A reply was quick and thorough and above all easily understood and answers to questions were immediate. Dennis provided all the information needed should a permit have been required. Once accepted, Kevin came out within a few days to take specific measurements needed for ordering the windows. Within just over a month, we received a call asking if the installation could take place within 48 hours as they had an opening. Ed, Jimmy and Daryl were the installation crew who arrived promptly and you could not ask for a more conscientious and professional team. They seemed to get along and worked well with each other. Care was taken to protect floors and carpet, the installation and operation of the windows was explained, and clean up was meticulous. I had planned to shampoo my carpets after they were finished and Daryl did such a good job of cleaning up the floors I did not have to vacuum first! We had 6 windows replaced and opted for the Endure EN600 series double hung, Energy Star Certified windows. These windows were installed on a warm day in rooms that get the afternoon sun and it was immediately apparent that the sun gain was much lower than the previous windows. The wind is gusting today and there are no drafts! The total cost was a bit above some of the other estimates but after our previous experiences as well as the ease of the ordering process, the personable and professional installers- much less the quality of the windows- it has been well worth it.

They only installed one of two required layers of underlayment, which does not meet code for a 3/12 slope roof. They did not install any ice & water shield at the eaves, though it was bullet pointed in our written contract. On May 11, 2025, I had a different company replace my hail-damaged roof and they discovered American's errors under the shingles. As a result of American's substandard installation I had to pay out of pocket to replace 16 pieces of plywood. I contacted American that day to notify them of their code and contract violations and the resulting damage. Despite multiple calls to them and my offer to send them photos of their own work and our contract, they have not offered a resolution, or taken the time to call me back in almost 4 weeks with any information. I requested a refund for the materials that were not used at installation which I certainly paid for and for the damaged wood from their office manager who dismissed my report and has not returned any of my following calls. As for their 5-year Workmanship Guarantee, they have not honored it. They have not taken responsibility for their poor and unsafe work. Do NOT trust them with your home! The canned response from American seen below is inaccurate. I spoke with Tausha, their office manager at length on May 12, as well as two other employees on 5/12/25 and 5/16/25 and have phone records to demonstrate this. I purchased a storm door and storm window from Viviano and unfortunately had an anwful experience from both a quality and customer service standpoint. The storm door and the storm window came for delivery on the same day. The storm window was unable to be installed as it did not fit (note, two different people came out to measure after I paid my deposit). They were able to install the storm door and the storm window was remeasured and reordered. After the storm door was installed, I had concerns about the door and its installation so I reached out to their main office phone number and spoke with the office manager. A few hours later I received an abrupt text from an unknown number. It was the owner of the company. Rather than working with me to address the issues, the owner became increasingly defensive and dismissive. In this exchange I explicitly told him that I still wanted the storm window and that my concerns were with the storm door only. His response was that he was the owner, he was making the decision, and the decision was final. He refused to install the storm window and instead offered a full refund only if he could return to my home and remove the storm door the very next day. At that point, I accepted the refund because I did not want to be left without my deposit. However, the way this was handled left my entryway looking like the home been broken to and in a condition that was extremely disappointing, as shown in the attached photo. In this case, rather than trying to find a reasonable solution, the owner repeatedly emphasized that they install "thousands" of these doors and had not had complaints, and ultimately chose to terminate the rest of the project rather than address my concerns. I was never asking for anything unreasonable. I wanted the door issues addressed, and I wanted the storm window I had ordered and been waiting for. I was very much willing to pay for it. Unfortunately, my experience with Viviano was that once I expressed dissatisfaction, the conversation became adversarial rather than focused on finding a solution. The communication was unprofessional, the situation was handled poorly, and I was left extremely appalled with the overall experience. Lastly, from my deep dive reading all reviews, I know the owner will respond rudely. I am including the messages he sent me to make it clear this is not someone you should do business with.
