We have been doing business with Will County Well & Pump for many years. Unfortunately, it appears each time we call with an emergency, it has been increasingly more difficult to get service. Today was our last time calling Will County for service. A service tech returned my call in the morning, he asked for details of the issue and confirmed the location, even told me he was nearby and headed our way. Sadly, this was too good to be true! I had 3 employees on standby at our location waiting for the service tech to arrive, who never showed up. I represent a company who services hundreds of customers daily, with a pretty good reputation. I cannot put our reputation on the line by depending on Will County. Needless to say, We will be looking elsewhere for well repairs going forward. read more

I would never recommend this company. I called them and the man who an the phone told me "I don't have time for this, this morning ". Then he told me whatever was wrong would be $15,000 dollars before he even sent anyone out to see what was wrong. read more

Had a problem with the pressure switch on my well system. They were able to get a new switch for me but not the exact model that I had previous. However, they were able to tell me how to adapt it to the well system I have and calculated how much pressure to put in the tank. Very friendly people in the office who genuinely cared about the outcome. They really wanted me to know how the system worked and what the potential problem was. They said they would be standing by the phone in case I needed any phone support. Great company with people who really care about the customer and outcome of the project. Will definitely be calling them again if I need service done on the well. read more

Why is will county pump price $2000 higher than there competition. $1600 for the pump ? And $800 for wire is unreasonable

I contacted Will County Well & Pump after a referral. I needed a new above ground pump replaced with a pump inside the well. Company said they needed a well permit and would contact me a few days later, but that they would be able to fix my well in a week. A week passed, and they never called me, so and I called them. They said the permits were backlogged. I waited another week, and they said they didn't have a permit. I called them at week 3 and again week 4. The secretary gave me the run-around each time, saying permits were backlogged. I asked another company who said there were no problems with permits. Will County Well & Pump never called me back ever. I don't know why Will County didn't straight out tell me they weren't interested, instead of making me hang on and waste my time. read more

I called Will County Well and Pump in the morning, and the person there I spoke to said no one was available, but someone would call me back, I didn't receive a return phone call until the following day. I explained the problem and said I needed a new component for our constant pressure system. I was given an estimate of $675. I said I would confirm with my wife and call back the following day. I called back the next morning and again no one returned my phone call until the next day. I spoke to Randy and explained my earlier conversation with whomever I had talked to. He said that $675 sounded like that was too low an estimate and would have to confirm with someone else and would call back. After not receiving a call within two days, I tried again. I left a message with their call taker and again nothing. Finally after a week, I received a call back from Randy saying they could honor the $675 price quoted, but were not sure when they could get me in. By that time I had went online, bought the part brand new for $299 (a Grundfos CU 301), and replaced it myself. At least I saved myself $375. While I cannot vouch for the work they do, based on this experience I would never call them again. read more

Nope don't use them ~ that is if you can get ahold of them! On Saturday afternoon, we suddenly had no water. We replaced the pressure switch but sadly it wasn't that easy of a fix. Sunday morning we looked up well & pump business' that offered 24 hour service. Will County well & pump was first on our list to call. We called, talked to their answering service. We were told that someone would be I touch with us shortly. Ummmm it's Thursday & they haven't called yet. Guess they didn't need our business that badly. So do yourself a favor & call Derby's. read more

Will County Well can Pump came out on a Sunday Morning of a holiday weekend to look at my pump that was not acting properly. He determined the problem within ten minutes and was honest with the best course of action. (leave it till it dies) He was very friendly, well spoken, and most of all HONEST. His pricing was very good considering the holiday weekend and a Sunday morning. His regular prices are good as well. I would absolutely keep this company at the top of the list. read more

Very Satisfied with their service... I'm putting these guys on speed dial! Summary: I recently purchased an old home with a well system, and needed to have the well line and well electrical line rerouted inside of my crawl space. I was referred to Will County Well and Pump by a plumber after having a number of companies politely decline to do the work. I called Will County Well on a Saturday, they called me back on Monday, and they had someone out to me on Tuesday. The tech was timely, polite, and went straight to work. He rerouted the electrical work, installed a new pressure switch and gauge, and then advised me on what other parts of my system were in need of repair. He showed me that my pressure tank was full of water and on its last leg (which I was unaware of). I really appreciated that he didn't try to sell me on the more expensive, larger, pressure tank and told me the smaller one would work fine for the size of my house. He installed the new pressure tank which greatly improved the water pressure in my home. Lastly, he cleaned out the filter on my water softener, made sure the piping was done right, and ran a few restart cycles. Pros: 1) The technician had everything he needed to make repairs on his truck, which meant he didn't need to reschedule or leave the job and come back at a later time. 2) The technician provided a lot of information about my pump system that I would not have otherwise known. 3) The work performed was very reasonably priced. 4) Technician worked quickly... I think the entire job took about an hour and a half to two hours. 5) Union company... to have Union work done and not have to pay an arm and a leg, good stuff. Cons: After this visit, no complaint. Conclusion: Great, reasonably priced, company to call regarding inside and outside well work, and water softener systems. read more

Had a late night emergency on a Friday night, long after this business had already closed for the weekend. They came out, did above-and-beyond repairs for a very reasonable price to get me back up and working again within 24 hours of the problem. Five stars is not enough!! read more

Highly, highly recommend this company! We needed our well shocked and tested to sell our house. Cheaper than other companies I called, very professional (they told me the tests we'd need for our FHA buyer when the other company we used said nothing, which would have prevented us closing on closing day), the lady behind the front desk was exceptionally kind, and the guy shocking the well was quick and competent. read more

We had a bad experience with this company. Always be careful when hiring someone for repairs to make sure someone is there to watch what is happening. Also, when having repairs to a well or pump, require them to give to you the broken parts or pump so that you can inspect them. Our experience with this company was not one I would want anyone to experience. read more
