Extremely expensive. Got the job done and cost over $1,100 for a clog that took 2 1/2 hours. I just don't understand why a plumber costs about $350 an hour. Nice enough guys but unreasonable. Definitely will look for another option next time. read more

Archer plumbing came out to replace a cracked drain pipe under my kitchen. Dave came out initially and diagnosed the issue I was having w drain flies and water not draining quickly even after we had the pipe snaked out previously. Dave explained the situation very clearly and was really easy to work with. He gave me a reasonable estimate as well. We are on a slab so this required extensive work moving all cabinets and jack-hammering through the concrete floor under the kitchen to get to the pipe. They sent Mike and Shea to come do the work. It was a tough job but they both made the job seem easier than it looked/was. I'm very glad I decided to go w Archer on this job. I can't say enough about the incredible customer service from Archer. I had several quotes for a water heater and many questions. This company was by far the most responsive and reasonably priced. On the day of the install they called ahead. The men were incredibly polite, laid down a protective covering over my hardwood without me even asking. I'm new to the area and needed some plumbing work done that was found on the home purchase inspection. So not knowing the area I Yelp'ed and found these guys. Great attitude, very helpful, friendly, and did incredibly professional work explaining everything clearly. (David Herrick) They snaked a clogged up tub, replaced a tub faucet, and replaced shut off valves for my kitchen sink, dishwasher, and clothes washer. Turns out David found the latter was incorrectly installed and very close to a corrosion-caused flood. Very reasonably priced. I highly recommend. I will use them again in a heartbeat. read more

I dealt with John and mike for a leak on bottom of sink and replacement for garbage disposal. Responded very well and timely fashion. They noticed our faucet had a leak and John reached out to the company to get a replacement. Apparently moen had a lifetime warranty that I didn't know. This company is the epitome of great customer service. Being a landlord located out of state, I received an emergency phone call on a Saturday from my tenant on a leaking water heater. After calling and speaking with Dave, they had someone over the same day five hours later to diagnose the issue. Turned out the water heater needed to get replaced. We agreed to have the water heater replaced on Monday and based on the feedback from my tenant, these guys got the job done and were very professional throughout the process, even fixed a faulty water faucet free of charge! After having draining problems for a few days I finally called Roto Rooter to clean out my main line drain....they found roots in my line and proceeded to call thier camera guy..(who arrived in ten minutes)..lol....and after looking into my pipe I was told I had a collapsed line that needed to be replaced ASAP at a cost of 6100 dollars....I wanted a second opinion so I called William Archer...thier man came right over and after looking over things he wasn't convinced I needed a new pipe .....so he suggested I have his camera guy look at it the next day...and after this second inspection I was told my pipe was fine and no replacement was nessesary saving me all that money...thier honesty is priceless and I gave them a five star rating ...you will not regret using this company ...they are in my opinion an excellent choice read more

I used Archer Plumbing for a small faucet leak in a bathroom. I called at 12pm and they had someone arrive at 2pm on the same day. The staff was very nice and professional. The plumber had a little difficulty with something, he called the owner and the owner came over to the house right away to help solve the problem. He too was very polite and professional. Everyone made sure we were happy and satisfied!!! I would consider the leak to be a small job but they treated it like a big important one.... which was really great. Great service and integrity. I had an issue with a pipe that was leaking in my garage. Joe came out on a Saturday and explained that the pipe was coming from the well and by law they could not work on it. He helped me by making calls to well pump companies until we got one to come out. Joe spent time traveling to and from my home and helping me get the problem resolved, knowing he was not getting the job. He did not charge me a cent, which was pleasantly surprising. It seems every other company would have tried to get a few bucks for the service call. I appreciate Joe's ability to empathize with my situation and make my day a little bit better. Can't believe how thorough and detailed these guys are. We just bought a house and needed a bunch of plumbing work. Our home inspector gave us an expansive list which Andy went through item by item. He evaluated it, thoroughly explained what needed to be done (and also IF it needed to be done), gave a reasonable price, and then set to work immediately. I never felt that he was in a hurry or trying to rush out. He was fast, efficient, nice, and super neat. Cleaned up absolutely everything! After he did the work, he went back over each one and double-checked everything. I had another issue and Andy was all over it!! Really, really went above and beyond. Had a heating emergency on a Sunday and called not really expecting a reply until Monday morning. Received a call back at 7PM on a Sunday with a promise to be at my house by 8AM. The team showed up at 7:45AM and got to work. The issue was quickly diagnosed and quote presented. All in took about 2 hours to get heat working again. I had an AMAZING experience dealing with WM Archer & Son! I had a pipe break in my garage over the winter and we had it capped by the first plumber that came up in google just to get us to the spring. We were not pleased with that *other plumber* so chose to find someone else to complete the job in the spring. I found WM Archer through great yelp reviews and gave it a try. The woman who booked my appointment was so super friendly and we made some fun small talk, we laughed. She had a quick appointment available for me for the next day (as it was not an emergency) and I wasnt even available that quick! I then requested an appointment for two days later. It was a nice small 3 hour window at a convenient time for me that I was given for waiting for the plumber's arrival. The day of the service, I was pleased to have a confirmation call shortly before my 12p-3p window. John told me that Andy would be there shortly. Yay! It was nice to have that confirmation cause ya know sometimes you're like, "I hope they remembered they're supposed to come today." Also, I have dogs, so it was good that I could prepare them a few minutes before I knew he was coming. (Although, sorry Andy, I didnt prepare good enough and they were jumping on you haha) Andy came and was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. I dont know anything about plumbing so he was cooperative with figuring out the situation without me being able to answer many questions. Upon fixing the leak I KNEW about in the garage, there was a secondary leak that was discovered in another area of the garage which must have happened over the winter AFTER the first pipe and water shut off (the pipe is in an area where the water will sit even if you bleed the water out). Andy was once again patient at the fact that he now had another job to do after he finished the one I originally called him for! And he just continued on to take care of that problem too!! Andy suggested ways that we can prevent this from happening again and also gave options for a stronger system than what we have now. I did not feel pressure to move forward with that, but am taking it into serious consideration to do some preventative maintenance to avoid a future emergency. I was so pleased with the experience that I asked Andy to quote out a new water main valve and also a wash basin for the washing machine for our next project when I have the time to schedule the job. I can't compare pricing because I did not quote around but I feel that the price was right for the job and the service. It did not break the bank. Shortly after Andy left, I received a phone call from John asking if I was pleased with the service and if I had any questions or concerns. Mike and Andy came out quickly to fix my sink faucet after the pipe cracked off and sprayed everywhere. They were within the time window specified. The rate was fair for the work done. Most importantly they were easy to talk to about the problem and people I felt comfortable having in my home alone or even with my small child. Also they left the area totally clean which is a bonus and did a walk through of the water heater and main valves just to put my mind at ease.
