My fiance brought a small diamond baguette ring here for a quote on reshaping (not sizing) replacing two diamond chips, tightening the prongs, and cleaning. We were quoted $450 dollars for the work which seemed high, we took the ring to two other jewelers in the diamond district for a second opinion and were quoted $65-80 dollars for the supplies and work. They were polite and prompt with a quote, but the up charge was significant, would cross-check costs on repair work. read more

Being the tourists that we are, when checking out the NYSE we noticed the Rolex next door. My husband is an avid watch man and definitely prefers Rolex. We stopped in not really expecting much but we were VERY impressed with the customer service we received from Naz. She was absolutely phenomenal. Whenever we travel my husband always insists on stopping at the local Rolex AD so we've been to a few and honestly most of them have very disappointing service reps. Naz was very different. I have been to several ADs in NYC looking to purchase something special - a timepiece that, when I look at it, I can be proud of myself. This is the only place where I was treated with respect. Maria was my person. I've never met any sale associate who is as kind, genuine, and caring as Maria. I'm hesitant to call her a sale associate because to me she is so much more than that. We bonded over our life stories, and I knew right away that Maria would be the person i trust to help me with my very first Rolex. She informed me that it would take about 7 months or more to get the piece that I wanted. I said it was okay because I was in no rush and I wanted it to be my own graduation gift.
