Unreliable and irresponsible billing communication. Huge, unexpected billing amount after 1 year of the procedure. All of my dental experiences with Dr. Britton's office has been great. However, for my wisdom tooth removal, which happened last year, I got a quote for the out-of-pocket as around $400. They estimated my insurance to pay about 80% of it, which I believed and so I went ahead with the procedure. Little did I know, after a year, they asked me to pay the total out-of-pocket of about more than $1100 - almost 3 times the amount I was estimated for. They said that is because the insurance did not pay the amount they "thought" it would pay. If I knew I had to pay such amount, I would probably not have done the procedure back then, at least not all of it at once. Now it feels like a rip-off. This is irresponsible billing practice. They just convinced you into doing the procedure with a low out-of-pocket estimate and then charge you later with a different amount. I have to find a different dental office to go to now unfortunately. read more

In the past 2 years i've been here i had a not so awesome experience a few times. This was when i was a new patient and had a two people clean my teeth that were kind of rough and i'd walk out there unhappy. Also a secretary that was a little too pushy and called often to reschedule my appointments, trying to get me in sooner. However, that has all changed. From Annie being brought in to replace the previous receptionist, to my new dental hygienist Kim, i have actually been looking forward to going to my cleanings now. The staff is super friendly, polite, and very sweet. Especially Annie, she's so happy and smiling all the time, and she has a very fun personality. I love interacting with her and appreciate that she's so nice. Kim is awesome, funny, and sweet. Not to mention that she's really gentle and does a wonderful and thorough job on my gums. Everyone else that works there as well, even the new receptionist are all very nice. Now as for Dr. Britton, he's crazy....Haha jk! He's not only a very talented dentist, but he is very good at what he does and he always goes above and beyond to make sure his patients are comfortable and happy. He's quite hilarious and i always look forward to his jokes when i see him. One of the best dentists in SD if not THE best, and my husband and i couldn't ask for a better one. read more

The best dental experience ever. Seriously guys- super nice front desk staff-responsive and even called me twice to try and get me in sooner at my request! Dental hygienist was genuinely nice, not the fake make-you-talk-about-the-weather-with-fingers-in-your-mouth, nice; and gentle with almost no mess with the polish. I am so glad that a good friend referred me to Dr. Britton. I had a very bad taste in my mouth (pun intended?) after my last dentist and during COVID, I missed some regular cleanings. This has been a long over due review. I had an accident and chipped my front tooth. In desperation, I found a convenient dental office near my work at the time without doing any research. Probably the worst decision I ever made in my life. Long story short, they did a horrible job with my temporary crown. It was much shorter than my other front tooth, it curved out, and I never could smile with my teeth in pictures. Needless to say, I never went back. I did some research and found Dr. Britton's office and he changed my life. He took one look at my tooth and knew it was crying out for help, literally. He is the first Dentist I have ever had that shaped my crown correctly and I didn't have to come back to get them reshaped due to my bite. Dr. Britton and his assistant were able to fit me in on a Friday afternoon/evening for an emergency appointment made 24 hours in advance. I had a old bridge fallout when one of the teeth broke off while on the road for work, with no time to get it fixed. It was out for 5 days and i was desperate. I showed up a few minutes early, and shown promptly to one of the rooms with the comfy dental chairs and the work began. Dr Britton is super skilled with quite a sense of humor to keep it light. My hope was they could reinstall the bridge which was not the case. So he fitted me for a new one, and set me up with a temp. Lucky I was their last patient cause they worked after hours. Let me start off by saying that like most people, I hate the dentist. Even worse, I had Medi Cal most of my life so my experience with dental companies has been nothing but subpar. A few years ago while undergoing wisdom teeth extraction I was also told that other teeth needed to come out...so when I woke up from my surgery half of the teeth in my mouth was missing!!! This was such a bad experience that I lost a lot of hope in finding a good dentist. That is, until I came here of course! Where do I begin!? I have yet to have an unpleasant encounter with any of the workers here. Years of neglect caused me to visit Dr. Britton's office at least once a month so I can say with full confidence that I've worked with every single one of his staff. When you walk in, right away you are greeted promptly. Unlike other offices when you have an appointment at 9:30 you don't actually get seen until almost 10:00, whereas here 9:30 is 9:30! Every single one of the lovely staff is the extremely professional, careful, cheerful, knowledgeable, and most important of all, non judgmental. You can tell that they are happy to be there. Dr. Britton himself is absolutely amazing. When you work with Dr. Britton you can tell that he absolutely cares about his clients and his work. His attention to detail really shows because he will tell you exactly what he's doing to help release your anxiety. Also, it helps that he's charming and funny too! Can't say enough about Dr. Britton and the entire office. My husband and I have been seeing him for a little while now, and have had nothing but great experiences every visit. After a skateboarding accident last night where my daughter lost at least half of her front (permanent tooth), I was able to reach Dr. Britton and get her in for an emergency visit where he completely rebuilt it for her.
