Today she is 3.5 and it was the first time they had to scrape for tartar. She was obviously scared but Dr Christa showed her on her nails that it doesn't hurt, they're did the same with the fluoride. My little emotional girl didn't cry at all. They have a play kitchen in the waiting room so I go 10 mins early so she can play. They also let you pick a little toy out of a vending machine at the end.

He arrived for his appointment on Dec 12, 2024 to be told it was cancelled on Nov 1, 2024 because Brite Smiles had decided to no longer be enrolled in the plan. We receive no call, no email, no card from them about this cancellation. To further comlicate their incompetence an appointment was made for me just a week and a half prior. Apparently, the reasoning behind this decision was cost-savings. Well, Brite Smiles just lost two customers, plus those enrolled in dentalplans.com. Beware!

There is no organization or professionalism at the front desk and sadly that reflects on the provider herself. I left a review earlier this week explaining that the front office lacks organization and while the dentist is amazing. It creates a very poor patient experience. They tell people they are checked in, and do not check them in. Take the patients in reverse order of arrival and appointments. After reflecting I actually removed the post 2 hours later planning to speak with the office when they called with my child's Referrel the next day. They didn't call and asked us to find a new dentist today. This practice has gone down hill, I'm not sure if they have trouble keeping staff, just hire family for the front desk who doesn't have the appropriate experience or if they just don't value their patients time because they have too many patients in the practice and can't manage how many patients they schedule at once. My child asked to start with a new dentist after we left the appointment - so the feeling is mutual . I think it's fair for people looking for new dentist understand that if they have feedback. I had family visiting me from the West Coast and while they were here, my 10 year old niece had a bracket pop off of her braces. I was frantically calling around to find someone who could at least fix the wire that was digging into her gums, and because she is not a regular patient here, nobody could help for several days. I got a recommendation for Pediatric Dental Healthcare from a friend whose kids are patients there, and thank goodness, when I called them, the staff completely understood the situation and were so nice! They got her right in the same day and Dr G. did a fantastic job of carefully assessing what was going on, fixing the wire enough to make her mouth stable and comfortable for the week, and advising us on what to let her orthodontist know as soon as she got home. He absolutely saved us from having a kid with a a sore mouth for several days! I'm seriously considering moving my own kids over from our pediatric dentist to this practice - it was clean, well organized, everyone we dealt with was so friendly and welcoming, and they got us right in and out all while making my nervous niece feel comfortable. Two big thumbs up for this practice, I'm so thankful that they came to save the day for us!

Every time it took forever and he always complained about the pain afterwards. Painting the waiting room with bright colors and adding some toys might make it more kid welcoming. After answering the phone with a kurt "hi" I was promptly asked "do you have insurance". I replied yes but had a question...before I could even complete my questions the receptionist told me they don't make appointments until they can verify my insurance. I said that was fine however i had a question (i have bcbs and delta dental and wanted to know if I could specify which would be the primary, etc.), she told me to hold but forgot to actually hit hold where I could hear her and another receptionist badmouthing me about "asking so many questions", "probably doesn't even have insurance", "ugh another new patient paperwork"....she then realizes that she didn't actually put me on hold and says she's going to transfer me to someone else.. The next receptionist picks up and says "can I help you", I tell her I was transferred to her and that i was trying to set up a new appointment. Before I could even start asking a question I'm asked again about having insurance which I reply that I do. She starts taking my information and is increasingly more and more rude as I answer her questions and reply with my own (like why do you need 2 phone numbers and an email address to "remind me of an appointment? - simple question, right?!). This place was highly recommended by several people I know however based off this first impression by their reception staff, I can't believe they are able to stay in business with customer service like this. Jamie, the receptionist was very sweet, nice and friendly. Dr Nho was my endodontist and I told him about my fear of needles, so he applied a topical anesthetic first, then the novocaine needle.
