He arrived for his appointment on Dec 12, 2024 to be told it was cancelled on Nov 1, 2024 because Brite Smiles had decided to no longer be enrolled in the plan. We receive no call, no email, no card from them about this cancellation. To further comlicate their incompetence an appointment was made for me just a week and a half prior. Apparently, the reasoning behind this decision was cost-savings. Well, Brite Smiles just lost two customers, plus those enrolled in dentalplans.com. Beware!

She implied my son doesn't like the dentist because I am not "strict" enough. She refused to use gas because "cleanings are easy" and said he just had to get through it. I am appalled that she is a pediatric dentist. She clearly had no understanding of how to approach children who are afraid. Our family dentist was more patient. We will never come back.

A lot of people are jerks. They want it NOW on their terms. Call backs.........HA HA. People don't answer their phones any more , or call back. These are the same entitled jerks who leave a bad review. These are the same jerks that are NO SHOW / NO CALL, then expect a reschedule next week. Office staff was prompt and courteous. Dr Bouffard listened to all my concerns and took the time to explain. His assistant was very nice. What more can you ask for? Got follow up appt. in a week. Consultation appt with 2nd DR. in 3 weeks.

Today I experienced the worst visit I have ever had. I got there early, 8am appointment was there at 10 of to be safe, first appointment of the day and didn't get started until quarter after because the hygienist Marissa was not ready. I felt extremely uncomfortable with both her conversation topics (complaining about their equipment and talking about their high turnover rates with hygienists) as well as the 20+ minutes of almost being drowned with a water pick while I was told to move my head and neck into extremely uncomfortable positions to make it more convenient for her and make HER more comfortable. I was so uncomfortable, was sprayed multiple times and had her entire hand resting over my eye at one point with skin contact. After 40 minutes of the appointment time she still hadn't started brushing/polishing my teeth and instead was lecturing me on flossing. Again while not actually cleaning my teeth, just sitting there. I said I had no plan to, and just wanted my cleaning done. Again this is 40 minutes in, and I do have a job of my own to get to. She struck my cheek, I am guessing in her mind it was playful, but as someone who was already EXTREMELY uncomfortable at that point it was completely unnecessary and unwarranted. I got up, said I was all set and left. I asked the woman at the front desk if there was a comment card I could complete and she said I could just tell her the problem. Like I said I have a job to get to, so I called on my way there and explained the whole situation as I am doing here. She apologized but said all she could do was make sure the next time I was with a different hygienist. Keep in mind Marissa is already the 4th one I have seen in two years so the odds of that were pretty high anyway. But since there is no other solution, or comment card for the real manager/ owner. Here is it. They would not provide MARISSA's last name, but when I find a NEW dental office, I will be sure to make sure she is not on staff there.

He has 3 chairs, though one is usually reserved for procedures he does himself. He is very calm and very softspoken, but as I've gotten older I have been able to experience some of his very funny, very dry humor. He remembers my father and asks about him all the time, and even remembers where I work and if I've been on the road. Kathy and Linda are his 2 hygienists that have been there the whole while, and I do not trust anyone to clean my teeth besides them. I've never been picked at, poked, made bleed by either of them. I think the biggest testament to Dr. Tilelli is that he doesn't push for unnecessary procedures or referrals to orthodontists. I have had 1 tooth pulled to avoid messing up my adult teeth when it wouldn't fall out, my sister had 1 cavity that he decided not to fill because she was going to lose that tooth anytime. My sister and I both have slightly crooked teeth, and he never once suggested we get braces, he said it would do more harm moving everything else to fix the 1-2 teeth that were out of line. Another favorite quote from him is that my sister and I have better and far cheaper teeth than his kids. If you have a child that is scared or may be a trouble maker, they specifically do early morning and weekend appointments, as to not frighten other children, and they will suggest not bringing any younger siblings they might frighten. I've also been told they are one of the only pediatric dentists that accept the state of ri insurance by several coworkers taht were on assistance/single moms

Our daughter has a minor runny nose (allergies) she has been COVID tested 2 times now over the last 3 weeks, but results coming back negative. We tried to be seen in September, October, and then she wanted to try scheduling us again in out in January. Are we supposed to just never be seen? This is the winter season, children are going to have a runny nose. Should we just cancel life and never take them outside again? We would have rescheduled , that fine..but to have a receptionist HANGUP on us is rude and uncalled for. I'm sure the dentist is probably great. That is too bad.

It's very efficient when you go- in and out. Do not miss your appointment though! There is a decent wait for things like cleaning just like other dentists around but I have been accommodated when there was an issue that needed quicker attention.
