Today is Christmas and my husband had a broken tooth that had kept him up all night. I called Dr. Farrell because he helped my husband with another extraction in February and was so helpful in getting him in and out of pain quickly. I knew it was a shot in the dark calling on Christmas day but magically his staff answered and called Dr. Farrell at his home. He allowed us to call him at home and he promptly understood the amount of pain my husband was in. He told us to meet him at his office in an hour. He and his son met us with warm smiles and opened up their office to us. Dr. Farrell immediately extracted my husbands tooth with help from his son. His wife came down to help with the credit card payment and the whole family is the most loving, funny and welcoming bunch. We felt like a part of the family by the time we left. Lastly I have to mention that Dr. Farrell is a very decorated and proud military veteran. My husband is also a veteran. He makes a point to take care of veterans and to share his wonderful stories of his 27 years of service. It is inspiring to meet people like the Farrell's and we are so very grateful to their open hearts this Christmas day. My husband was able to enjoy the meal I made later today. I have been going to Dr. Farrell for over 20 years for all my dental work. I have always been extremely satisfied with his work. Prior to seeing Dr. Farrell I had some shoddy dental work done. Many if my fillings had fallen out. I have never lost a filling Dr. Farrell has worked on. He has always been very willing to accommodate my work schedule and make Saturday appointments for me. In addition, I believe he keeps up with best practices in dental care. When I first started seeing Dr. Farrell, I had to use gas to have work done on my teeth as I was very apprehensive. I have not had to use it in years. Dr. Farrell always makes sure I comfortable throughout the entire procedure. My teeth are in great shape thanks to Dr. Farrell. Another comment: Dr. Farrell's staff is always pleasant and friendly. He has an excellent dental hygienist on staff, Cindy, that I also highly recommend. My son recently had a dental emergency on a weekend (turned out to be an abscess on a back molar). The pain started on Saturday morning around 5:00 a.m., and by Sunday morning he was in excruciating pain. I was very worried that we would not be able to get any assistance until Monday morning, but Dr. Farrell responded to my call on Sunday and was very compassionate and understanding. He even called in an antibiotic to the local pharmacy and gave us some tips to help with the pain until he could see us first thing Monday morning. His staff is kind and helpful. On Monday, after a brief exam, my son was made comfortable immediately and the necessary procedure was done efficiently and gently. He has called us a couple times to follow up on how my son is doing, and to give us tips on what to look for should any problems arise. A follow up appointment is scheduled in a couple of days and my son is back to work and very grateful to be pain free. We could not be happier with this compassionate dentist! read more

I was in there August 15 of 2014 cause of a logging accident and it was around 6:00am when my wife called him. and Dr. William Farrell and his hole staff came in to help me. I was very impressed that he and is staff came in and he got me out of pain after he assessed the damage. then asked my wife what all happen so once he heard what happen and he saw the damage and he quickly did what he needed to do. And he said I was very lucky and it could have been worse. But I have to say I am very thankful for Dr. Farrell and his staff. Thank you for a great office and staff. He is my dentist from here on out and while your there its a fun experience he does awesome work and makes you feel like a family member not like the other people make you feel like just a number. Wow, Dr. Farrell is one of the VERY BEST dentist I have been to in my entire life. I will tell you I have been to a lot of dentists from here to Oregon and haven't had a better experience! After a long agony day spent in the waiting room at another facility waiting on an emergency appointment to come available, they were unable to extract my tooth due to the lining of my sinuses. I contacted Dr. Farrell that afternoon and immediately he wanted me to scan over x-rays for him to look at. Within 30 minutes I was contacted back and asked to come out THAT DAY!!! IT IS WORTH THE SHORT DRIVE! He spent his time actually trying to save my tooth instead of extracting! Which was wonderful considering it was one of my main chewing tooth. He was fabulous! Spent the time, even a little afterhours to finish me up. I was out of pain and am able to eat my Thanksgiving Dinner without pain or a whole in my mouth. Dr Farrell, Brandy, and Shayla have become like family to me. After all the mouth is right up there being one of the most important organs of the body, and a personal area. They have gone far above and beyond taking care of my mouth as well as my families oral needs. Recently I had an old crown causing some serious pain , and problems. Dr Farrell and Brandy worked together for over 4 hrs on that tooth, and he saved it!!!! The biggest dread of all for me was loosing that tooth and with diligence and patience he saved it!!! My first encounter with Dr. Farrell was very pleasant; I had just moved to Redding and had a tooth literally break in half due to a previous dentist's malpractice. This was late Friday night and the only dentist in town that was open on a Saturday was Dr. Farrell. My new, front crowns are beautiful. First time in my life I feel confident to smile. For all that I had done, there was little or no pain and discomfort in the chair or after. Dr Farrell and his staff went above and beyond to help me. I had went to another dentist ofc before and they couldnt find anything wrong and wanted to charge me 2500 for the other stuff wrong with my teeth. Dr Farrell did a few tests a realized it was a bad filling and replaced the filling, cleaned my gums and adjusted my bite. I am now pain free and feeling so much better.
