I'm honestly super shocked at these reviews! I'm currently in Colorado and wanted to send a friend some flowers for her birthday, and chose this florist based on affordable pricing and selection. I was able to put a message in and delivery instructions and was super pleased! After putting in the order, I came over to Yelp to see reviews on delivery times and was so worried after seeing the words "scam" and "unable to reach", but I was able to call the store and talk to one of the employees the day of my order to confirm and the day of the delivery! They estimated my delivery time to be ~15 minutes from when it was delivered and my friend was so happy with them! I would definitely recommend William Paul Floral Design and hope they begin to get the reviews they deserve! read more

Placed an online order, to be delivered same day. The delivery had to be same day in order to be at an event, on the day. Order was placed early in the morning. Received confirmation of the order. Then nothing. Received confirmation of delivery 30 hours later, over a day late. Recipient then informed me they rebuilt the arrangement themselves, as some of the flowers were starting to brown and wilt. Tried to contact florist to tell them, all I received was an automated response saying they'd try better next time. Absolute GARBAGE SERVICE. Avoid at all costs. read more

If I could give this place 0 starts, I would. But, it is not an option. I ordered a $200+ floral arrangement from William Paul Floral Design in Austin. I ordered it in the morning for same-day delivery. I needed it for friends who were hosting a party for me the following day. I was staying with these friends for the weekend, so I was able to monitor the promised delivery. I received text updates that the flowers were in route. I tracked the delivery person, but he never got close to the house and at one point seemed to be stationary for quite some time. I thought that was odd. Then i got a notification that the flowers were delivered and a picture that was proof of delivery. The picture, which included a resident picking up the flowers from the stoop, was of a different house. We never received the flowers. The address was absolutely correct, yet our flowers were delivery to a different house. I texted the delivery number of the person who was supposed to be delivering according to the text notifcations, and someone responded and sent me a screenshot of his delivery list, and our address nor our order number was on the list. He said to reach out the florist the next day. I reached out the next day--Saturday--and they were supposed to be open. I probably called 15-20 times--no one answered. I kept getting a voicemail message that said to send a message on the website if I had an order issue. So, I send an email to the address on my order confirmation, as well as a submission form on the website. i didn't hear back from anyone until the next day, two days after my order, and they said they'd get a replacement arrangement out immediately. I told them I no longer needed the arrangement, as it was for an event that already happened, and so please cancel my order. They refused to cancel the order, citing a clear policy on their website of no refunds. But, as a customer, it seems like that policy should only apply if one actually receives the item that they paid for? I asked to speak to a manager, and the respondent continued to maintain that they would not refund. They were flippant and condescending in their reply. I never received a refund and I never received the flowers I ordered or a replacement order. Yet, they still charged my card $205. I am in the process of disputing the charge with my CC company and filing complaints with the BBB and the Texas AG's office. But, FYI! Be warned. This business is either a complete scam OR they don't care one bit about their business. Do NOT order from here. Plenty of other good options in Austin. read more

I wish there was a ZERO STAR OPTION! William Paul Floral Design is the contacted florist for Teleflora in south Austin. The flower arrangement ordered through Teleflora was a large, premium bouquet. What William Paul Floral design delivered was a very small flower arrangement, that had zero of the flowers ordered in the premium bouquet! I called and emailed William Paul Floral Design to let them know that they had delivered the completely wrong flower arrangement. After several days, they refused to correct their error. In my opinion, this florist is making big bucks by getting pre-paid for floral arrangements from Teleflora, then sending out flower bouquets than are much smaller and cheaper than what was paid for through Teleflora. By far the worst flowers I have ever received! My aunt ordered flowers for my 30th birthday. When I received them, I was surprised by how scraggly, sparse, and wilted they were. I informed her of the appearance of the flowers and she sent me a picture of what she had ordered. This was NOTHING like what she had ordered. She ordered a gorgeous, large, "premium" bouquet that came in a pink vase. I received a small, pathetic bouquet featuring a few pink flowers and a simple clear vase. Needless to say, she and I were both very disappointed with the floral arrangement I received. I tried contacting William Paul Floral Design via phone and email. I finally received an email taking no accountability and refusing to refund my aunt or make the correct arrangement. This has been my worst experience with a florist ever! Terrible experience. I purchased via 1800flowers, and this was the florist they contracted. Bouquet was not delivered on date requested, even though I paid extra to ensure it was delivered on 4/2. I called the morning of 4/3 and was assured it would be delivered by 3pm that day. It was not. My uncle left the hospital on 4/5, and no bouquet had been delivered. I disputed the charge on my credit card and the store only issued a partial refund and supplied a proof of delivery, even though the delivery was never made. Do not trust this business. read more

Brother ordered flowers from out of state and telaflowers used this florist. What arrive was three sunflowers and four stem of daisy basically just put in a vase. No "arrangement". I know how hard it is to make a profit and be a successful florist so wanted to give them a chance to make it right. Called and was put on hold and forgotten. Called again an hour later and was told to send pictures. and then nothing. So, I decided to go to storefront. They acted like they had never talked to me and they were going to send more flowers too make it right after I did not back down to their "we don't care attitude" They said for what he paid, that was what I should have gotten, which knowing the floral industry: as BS. They finally agreed to send more flower but they would take away the sunflowers. I was to put the vase on the front porch. It was 12:15. I called at 5:00 asking when they were coming and that the vase had been out all afternoon. They laughed an said he was on his way. Asked if that meant 15 minutes and they said...an hour. They took the sunflowers and put more what we would call filler flowers in. I know they brought their left over stems since they were not fresh and in12 hours are losing all of their pedals. So: did they take the sunflower and throw them away instead of leaving them? Did they put them in another arrangement after being outside all afternoon? Who knows? Do not order flowers from this place. I placed my order on 1/16 for a Valentines day delivery. I called in the morning on 2/14 for an ETA on the delivery. I received an automated messaged stating that they were not taking calls today and to reach out via online. I asked that they leave the flowers at the door if no one answered, they replied and said they would inform the drive. 7 pm, no flowers, finally get an email informing me that they could not deliver because no one was home. I was home all day. I called again today to get a status, I got another automated message, no way to talk to a human. I still haven't received my flowers. read more

Worst experience I've had with ordering flowers. I never write online reviews, but this was so bad I feel I have to. I ordered a bouquet for my sister as a Get Well gesture. Her bouquet arrived with a couple flowers already wilted. By the following morning, the arrangement was even more wilted. I called the office and received very rude customer service. After explaining, the man asked, "Well, what do you want me to do?". There was no attempt to fix the problem and no apology. Once he found out I lived out of state, he demanded if I wanted any fix, I would have to bring the flowers back (which he knew was impossible). I replied that if he would like the wilted flowers back, then please send the delivery driver to get them -- he then said he would charge me for that. Would definitely NOT recommend this place to anyone. Use another service that cares about customer service and which supplies a nicer product. read more

Super disappointing experience. A couple of days after sending flowers to a colleague, I checked in with her as I hadn't heard anything. She hadn't received anything. I called the florist and they said they left it at a neighbor's house because they couldn't find her unit. To be fair, they did text her to say they did but it was a work phone that doesn't have messaging enabled. They offered to re-deliver which I was grateful for as my co-worker went to the neighbor's house but they weren't there and the neighbors were out of town for a week. They then sent me a picture of the proof of delivery and I expressed shock at how different they were from the picture. I also sent specific instructions on how to find her unit as well as asking when they would be redelivering as she hadn't received anything and they never responded. Order was placed for Valentine's Day. WPFD was told the recipient would be at the delivery location until 2:30pm. They confirmed they could do it. WPFD was chosen due to their location, the delivery location is right down the road, .3 miles away. When no delivery was made by 2:45, they were called to reschedule for the next day before 2 pm. Got a text at 8:40 pm saying the delivery driver is at the location but can't find the entrance. They were told that the delivery was rescheduled as the recipient left over 6 hours ago. Delivery driver said that flower orders had been passed around from driver to driver all day long. That at 9pm, he still had 15 orders in his van to deliver. Halfway thru the next day and the order is still not here. After hanging up with the driver, then started getting texts that the delivery was complete. No flowers were ever successfully delivered. WPFD obviously over books and provides little communication, especially during high volume days. As it stands, they have taken money and not provided the service. Owed and will be looking for a refund. read more

Horrible product! I ordered 2 premium bouquets and got the most simple small at best standard floral arrangements. I paid for the 3rd level and expected a quality order on both the orders I placed for today. They were for birthdays. They look so bad, I am going to buy my own at HEB and they will look 100 times better than these do! Called the store and got a very rude person who claimed to be the owner. Save your money and time and order from a place that actually cares and does a good job. This store sends out horrible product. I would have loved to speak and send the picture I took to the actual owner, and if that was him, he should be ashamed of himself!
