Horrid experience, and extremely non communicative. Left me in the dark for over an hour. I came here early for my appointment. And asked if I can go in earlier. They said yes. Then had me wait, I then waited 15 mins past my appointment and they asked me to wait longer. They are unorganized and took in 5 other patients before myself. Mind you they took in my wife early. And when I was sitting for 15 mins they said I should be dilating. But nothing. No communication, if you are short staffed, let us know. Don't make us wait 1 hour on top of whatever time you need to get your stuff together. It's plan unprofessional. Don't set appointments and take in other clients and leave someone on the side without letting them know your situation. read more

My husband was complaining that he was having trouble reading his cellphone, menus and other smaller print. The office staff was super friendly and validated our insurance to make sure we could see the doctor. I loved that the forms we filled out were via dry erase. No keeping unnecessary papers! The doctor was very efficient and I felt I had a great appointment. LensCrafters is right next door. Which is convenient if you live in the area. I have followed Dr. Buthob ("Dr. B") from one practice to another because he is the best I have found! He is excellent at getting my eyes to their sharpest vision for multi- lenses, tri-focal, readers, everything and I have terrible eyesight! He is patient, and takes extra time for questions, whatever you may need, unlike so many eye practices who double book clients and you spend so much time sitting in rooms waiting and waiting. He is very patient, has been great at giving me recommendations for cataract doctors. He understands the need for patients to comprehend procedures and is an excellent communicator. He is very kind, HAS A low-key mellow personality that is calming and shares his eye expertise freely and will address whatever eye related needs you may have. I can get anxious about my eyes, they are not "cookie -cutter" but a bit challenging for me, and "Dr. B" is great with "me being me", my worries and my need to have stuff explained until I can understand. I recommend him as above and beyond, 5 stars! He works at a few different eye care offices and is only at Williams Eye Care in Stonebriar Mall a few days a week. read more

The ladies at the front are the best. You will be treated well and they are fast and friendly. Not all doctors are of the same quality here but Dr. Patel is simply amazing. I didn't have time to order my glasses at the LensCrafters next-door to Williams Eye Care. By the time I ordered my glasses and then picked them up (just after 90 days) the prescription was completely wrong. When I called them to have it redone they said I would have to pay for it as it was after 90 days (barely). I do not wear glasses, so this isn't due to major eye issues. I basically got the glasses because my insurance was paying for it and I thought, "why not get them and see perfectly if I want to thread a needle or something." If you're into high-end frames and excellent service, the Frisco "Eye Clinic" is the place for you! Located on the upper end of the Stonebriar mall next to Nordstrom's, this quaint little eye gem is separated from the noisy highly trafficked portion of the mall. Dior, Fendi, Gucci, Prada, Coach, Bebe, Juicy Couture. The list of designer labels for women is endless! Though the space might seem rather small, the number of frames they fit into the area is profound! Unfortunately, the men's section is not as extensive and only occupies a small area on the right end of the store. If you're a woman, you're in luck though! I fell deeply in love with the first pair of frames I picked up...a tastefully bejeweled tortoise pair of Fendi frames set at a whopping $330. Thank the heavens I have vision insurance (VSP is incredible) Osama was patient, soft-spoken, and very knowledgeable of the lenses and frames. Their policy is excellent -- if the lenses aren't perfect or if even your appointment at one of their optometrists wasn't quite right you'll get your lenses redone free of charge or a free revisit to the optometrist for a new prescription. The only downside is if you end up not liking your glasses overall in the end, no refunds! If you need a new pair of peepers and have decent vision insurance, run don't walk to the Frisco Eye Clinic! (Note: For the most optimal service, visit much earlier than December as people usually flood their office around that time of year when most people's insurance is either changing or resetting for the year) *UPDATE* Went again to go hunting for glasses with my boyfriend. The staff has completely changed since my last visit - definitely NOT as attentive and not as knowledgeable. Why the heck do they need 3 people to serve one person when there are obviously other people that would like service??? The selection of men's frames as aforementioned is miniscule. I don't know if maybe they have changed staff for the better or what, but I was just there on Saturday morning and my experience was fantastic. I arrived for my scheduled appointment and found out that my vision insurance couldn't be verified. After the staff worked with me, we found that they were not in my network. (That's my crappy insurance's fault, not theirs, and they were very nice throughout.) I did a little digging on my own and discovered that my crappy insurance would reimburse some nominal amount for an eye exam. Since I was already there, I figured I'd just go ahead and do it. I'm glad I did. Every person I dealt with there from the doctor to the front desk was very personable, kind, and helpful. So in total, yeah, it's probably a little more expensive. They don't seem to take all insurance. The shop is small-ish, so they might not have a huge selection for frames... (I didn't really look.) But at the heart of it, this place is there to provide a medical service. The gauge of quality should be that the medical service provided is competent and kind. I'll definitely never go back. When you go to a doctor and fill out a medical history and previous doctor, you expect some sort of check into what you've written. Not here. It's only to waste your time so they can charge you their obscene, "new patient" fees but we'll get back to that. For now, history. For example, I could've got my leg chopped off and was replaced by bionic deer hoof. It wouldn't have mattered because they didn't check. I know this because they didn't reach out to my previous eye doctor to see when my last exam was, what my prescription was, and what brand of contacts they were. Because if they did, they would've seen I was still within a year of having an exam. Ahhhh, the plot thickens. So to justify their incompetence or laziness, they charge you $135 for a new patient fee. Which they conveniently don't tell you until the very end. I have pretty good insurance and rarely has my exam cost more than what the insurance covers. If it does, it's around $10-$15. Fair. But this wasn't even the exam. This was a "New patient fee". As if to say, "What an inconvenient twat he is for choosing us over everyone else! Charge him more money instead of welcoming him". That's your business plan? Even strip mall lenscrafters "2 pairs of glasses for $20" has a special for new patients. This place derives it's business tactics from the movie deliverance. What a shame. They did not get the glasses made right the first time and so it had to be remade. It took such a long time and there was no follow up from their staff. Avoid this place at all cost! My wife and I relocated from out of state and this was the first place that was listed on our insurance so we thought give it a try to get our eyes examined. I should have known better when they were asking for not only my vision insurance but also my health insurance. Come to know, they wanted to double charge my vision insurance and my health insurance. I have been wearing contacts for 25 years and they had the audacity to demand that I come in for a follow up appointment to ensure that my contacts were "fitted" properly. What a bunch of crooks in this place. Should have known better than to choose a place in the mall with the overprice rents that they have to resort to questionable billing practices. This is a contributing reason why health care is so expensive. We are all aiding to these doctors and optometrists vacation home and boat payments. read more

We used to use this clinic and only went there for their customer service from, Ida, but she is now gone and took the clinic's customer service with her! I went there for my yearly check up and all they wanted to do is make sure I used my insurance on REALLY expensive glasses. They put me in a pair of contact lenses but only temp ones because the ones I needed were on backorder. Once they finally came in, 2 mths later, I had to Keep calling to check up on them. Each time I was transferred and put on hold for A LONG TIME! Picked my trial lenses up and scheduled my follow up appt. Then after all of the wait I was running late for my appt but I called to let them know that I would be 5-10min late. The front desk said that was too long to wait and I would need to reschedule. There was an appt later in the day--- I was there- even early, and I waited, and waitied, and waited. No one told me why or a timeframe.... Mind you this was a check to make sure my contacts are ok and then they release my Rx a 15 min max! I finally asked what was going on and they said the dr was going over and I could reschedule. Urg! I just needed my Rx! And then they said well if you don't have any problems with them I'll (the front desk rep- no medical experience) released my Rx. I'm sure my insurance enjoyed paying a front desk rep for my contact follow up?!?! read more

I would give a 0 if there is an option for the customer service, they charged 1000$ for the first visit and glasses, I wanted to buy 2nd pair since the first one is little tight and uncomfortable, I approached them first and they again gave me a quote of 500$ with a great favour of 30% off (btw the 500$ was after 30% discount they gave me) which is wayyyyyyyy costly for a pair of glasses (again they said the lens itself costs me 300$ when I was shocked to see the bill though I picked normal frame). I asked them to atleast provide the measurements so I can buy online at a reasonable price, they rejected right away. So folks, who are rich enough or willing to spend 100s of bucks on ur glasses, please go ahead and try this place else do not even think about it read more

Frisco eye clinic is not good place to do eye glasses or exam for eyes due to bad attitude of their employees and the Dr. optician is not caring at all about customers needs , I tried to get eyeglasses and it took me almost more than a month to get my eye glasses done by third party even with out case or proof of lenses type although charged 500+ $ with wrong power and they never refund or fix the power problem of eye glasses measurements .Please stay away from this store if you want to save yourself the pain and headache read more
