I was about to invest in a washer and dryer, when this place went under new management. The improvements were almost immediate! New paint, new and better washers and dryers, clean, and most importantly, excellent customer service! Needless to say, I'm not in a hurry to buy a washer or dryer at this point. Went to Freeport Laundry this evening. I was greeted by this nice guy who asked if I needed help bringing my laundry in. He told me to feel free to ask if I had any questions. I have never been to a laundromat before and I always thought of them to be a little scary. However, since I had a ton of throw pillows to clean for 3 classrooms, I was forced to venture out into the world of public cleaning. This place is amazing! The guy is super helpful, and not just in a "here is where you put your money" kind of way. He helped me pick out the best machines for the job, load them up, told me where I could go to get more cash, and where to put the detergent! He visited with the regulars, kept the place tidy and I felt VERY safe with my two kiddos. It's right across from the Freeport Bakery and next to McDonalds if you need a bite to eat. FREEPORT LAUNDRY! I just love my laundry mat! They have very friendly and helpful staff there all the time. And they always make you feel at home and comfortable and even help you to load and unload your laundry if you like. The workers are always there making sure the place is clean and running smoothly. The rest rooms are clean, flat screen tv, vending machine and next door is McDonalds!!! The staff are always friendly and don't hesitate to start up a conversation with you. I came here because our machines were being repaired and this place was open late. This place was clean and well ventilated. WiFi was available which was really nice. 8 minutes on the dryers. Limited and awkward seating in front of the TV. The owner is nice and personable and was constantly cleaning and taking care of the shop. read more

This is the neighborhood laundromat at its best. The prices are reasonable and a good value for the money compared to other laundromat a in Sacramento. The regular top washers are $1.25 then go to $3.00 for the double size front loaders and then the very large front loaders are $5.00 and $7.00 for comforters and pillows. The dryers are pretty good 8 min @ .25 cents for the regular ones. Then 5 min @ .25 cents for the larger dryers. If you buy at least 45 mins on the dryers, it will dry most loads completely. They do offer laundry service by the pound so there is a full service here. There are surveillance cameras always taping so it is fairly safe. I still would exercise common sense if you step,out for a cup,of coffee or to one of the locate restaurants. Most patrons seem pretty decent and I haven't run into any pan handlers so far which is nice. If your car is in the shop, it is right next to a light rail station and the bus 62 line stops nearly right in front of the building. Maria donuts is right across the street so you can grab a muffin or cinnanom twist and a cup of coffee. The best of all is it has free Wi-Fi which is nice if you plan to surf the web while your clothes are washing or download your favorite song from iTunes. Most parents who bring their kids there seem to keep them under control which is rare in many laudromats. All in all I would give them high marks for cleaniness and well maintained machines. Plenty of parking. Plus they stay open late if needs be to 10 PM but they are in a relatively safe area. The parking lot is well lit at night with flood lighting. read more

Parking! Very reasonable prices! Theirs a guy named Anthony who works there and always keeps it clean and is very friendly! Their are different washers and dryer sizes which is perfect. My favorite place to wash my clothes. Washers and dryers in good condition. Staff very friendly and helpful! Sometimes it can get really busy, but you can mostly always find washers/dryers of choice without a long wait time. read more

A friendly place to do laundry with very large dryers and large front loading washers if needed (I was washing a sleeping bag). The manager/custodian was friendly and helpful with information regarding best practices (he even stored my bag when I locked myself out my car = fifth star). Off street parking. read more

Not that bad! Came here to get alot of stuff washed around 7pm. Not too packed. And the place is kept pretty clean. Plus you can get a bite to eat across the street or wash your car with the wash next to the laundry mat. read more

I honestly have never liked going to laundry mats. I have a washer at home but blankets are too big for my washer. I work on Freeport and had seen this place but never thought about going in until my friend mentioned there was a new owner. Last week my husband and I went to wAsh our blankets. We were greeted by Anthony, the owner. He was very friendly and was making himself available if we had any questions. The place is maintained clean and had no problem with any machine. My boyf and I did laundry there two nights in a row and I used to do laundry with a friend during the afternoons. The owner and his employees are very friendly and make you feel welcome. The dryers are honestly some of the best in town and the place is very clean (even has a bathroom you don't have to beg to use). The prices are very good and they have a carwash, a McDonalds, Dad's kitchen, Marie's Donuts, Round Table Pizza and more nearby and is a very short walk from Wayne Hultgren Lightrail (Blue Line) if you are carless. Beautiful Land Park and the zoo are nearby as well as City College, so it is in a very happening, yet safe, part of Sacramento. read more
