This has been the best and cleanest laundromat I have ever seen. The place is spic and span (actually nearly immaculate) and Tamisha the attendant is a Superstar employee that should be recognized. She was friendly, helpful, and was cleaning the entire time I was there. Employees like her are a rarity and I hope the owner realizes this and recognizes her value. This is a clean, beautiful laundromat. All the machines work there's an attendant that helps you. They have the super large machines that can handle your blankets, which was my case was I had three big Blankets. The attendant was very courteous and helpful. There is parking out front, although limited. They have rolling baskets so you can unload your car to the basket to go in. Overall, I was greatly impressed. Went in, the place looked CLEAN, well managed, the lady working there was very friendly and willing to help. I messed up by closing the washer with a towel still hanging out a bit and it made a bit of a mess with the soap spewing out of the machine, but the work attendant quickly acknowledged my need for assistance, got me a towel to help clean up and helped. What a luxury to have your clothes washed for you. Dropped off two shopping bags of clothes at 9:30, and got a text 90 minutes later saying they were done. My clothes were neatly folded and packed into plastic bags. All I had to do when I got home was to put them away. A bit of a splurge, but I understand how folks could make a habit of this. (They even pickup and deliver, wow). As laundromats go, it has everything you'd want. It's clean, has an attendant, free Wi-Fi, restrooms, and the machines take credit cards. Very clean facility and modern equipment. There are coin slots in the machines but I found it easier to use an app to pay and activate the washing machines. It's been a long time since I've used a laundry mat - the washer prices seemed a little high - but then I found out the dryers are free so overall it seems pretty reasonable. Old and outdated decor. They only have coin operated machines as well. No credit or debit cards accepted. That's extremely inconvient. And there's no attendant that can ring you up on a separate system for addition items. Bathroom looked like ARCO gas station after a homeless person blew it up. read more

I wish I wasn't having a horrible day this day. The hours say till 10:00pm. I walked in and the sign outside said "last wash at 8:30pm" I got there at 6:30. I walk in and am greeted with a woman saying "I'm closing early can u be done by 8:00pm". I love doing my laundry here. That's right - I actually ENJOY doing this awful chore when I get to do it at Sudz Yer Dudz. First of all, the facility is clean and spacious. They always have available washers of various types. They offer a machine that magically transforms your bills into quarters. There is ample seating to wait for your laundry if you desire, with the added amenities of a table and TV. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When trying to get into the restroom, the lady working graciously told me the code before I was even able to ask. She would also restart dryers that had stopped for a while, to help ensure people's clothes would not be wrinkle-laden when they returned. They have a bunch of carts to help you transport your laundry from the washer to the dryer and ultimately to one of their huge, high tables to fold. These tables are my dream come true. They eliminate the need to bend over when folding clothes, saving my poor poor back. It makes folding so easy and actually kind of fun! Pro tip: there is also a coffee shop right next door for hanging out while you wait! read more

There was a time this was a good spot. It changed owners. I like it because it's rarely busy and it's large. It also has free dryers. However the wash prices are higher than loves laundry by 5 dollars for the large washer, you buy a token and they charge an extra dollar for the non-cash charge which I think is illegal. And more than 1/2 of the dryers are broken. They have a sign that says "no public bathroom". It is clean. read more

This place was immaculate and all of the machines seemed to be in good shape. The woman who works there, I think her name is Tammy, went above and beyond in being helpful. She is so on it that when I even open my laptop, without my saying anything she asked if I needed the Wi-Fi password. She was also really helpful with the equipment. Came here for the first time to wash our brand new comforter. Literally just pulled it out of the box and brought it here for the first wash. I put the comforter in the washer and it seemed to have plenty of space to be properly washed. Returned to the washer once it was through and found that it destroyed our comforter. I spoke to the staff and they didn't seem to care that much. Woman I spoke with said that the issue happens sometimes when the washer is loaded with bigger items, clearly an issue they were aware of. She went on to say that the washers were going to be pulled from the business due to this type of issue. When I mentioned the idea of a warning label, since they've clearly had problems with this in the past, I was pretty much blown off. So, yea, won't be going back. I think this place is out of business? I arrived at 7.45pm last night. The sign on the door said that they were open until 10pm with their last load at 7.30pm. I guessed maybe the owner decided to close early because nobody was in (it was a Friday night). I arrived bright and early this morning for their 7am opening, and several minutes after I saw nobody in. I looked on Yelp and saw a few recent reviews from folks who suspected that they were permanently closed. Thankfully I had taken my car and not walked over and was able to quickly divert to Love Laundry. That's too bad, really. Not since college days had I ventured into one of these places. Tammy was at the service window when I stopped in with a full load of whites - king mattress pad, pillows and a half- dozen oversize bath towels. At home, this meant three loads, hot water - about 4+ hours plus wear & tear (on me, not the machines). "Put em in there," she said, gesturing toward one of two shiny 9-cubic-ft mega-washers. Yup, the entire 3 loads fit in this behemoth, with room to spare. She even offered to throw the cleaned load in the dryer as I had, after all, important stuff to do that day. I have used Suds Yer Duds at various times in my 20+ years in Sac while apartment dwelling and when our machines died and we hadn't yet purchased new ones. Presently, we are mid-remodel and our laundry room is in the mix, so I've been back the last three weekends. My husband asked why I wasn't going to a closer laundry to our house and I was surprised he'd even suggest it....Howe and Hurley, no thanks. Once again, Suds Yer Duds was great. It's clean, machines handle volume, free dryers for those who wash, etc. Staff is friendly and personable too. I was in last Saturday night. Had my teenager with me to start and rotate loads. We both forgot all about my heavy quilt and I didn't realize this until several hours later when I was driving home with a car full of clean and folded clothes. I turned around and the employee was so kind. She had me put it in the large dryer. It was nearly 8:00 at this point. I explained I was going to go home, unload, take a shower and would be back in an hour or so. She offered to keep it tumbling for me. When I returned she had taken it out and folded it for me. The place is very clean and not crowded at all. That maybe due to the price of a standard wash $3.50 and it goes up based on the temp of the water used. The dryer use is free, but I have been to similar free dryer uses laundromats and the washes are around $2.50. None the less nice place to do laundry. read more

I've spent a few days in launder-mats before and have to say that this was the nicest, cleanest one I've ever used. The gentleman at the counter was very helpful on the phone and when we got there he help us navigate the machines. Incredible service. I'm a little miffed. I'm new to the area, my apartment complex laundry is too expensive and the local laundromats are filthy. I'd passed SYD several times, so since it has good reviews and it's just a bit farther than the locals, went to this laundromat on 9/26. There was a sign posted that it was closed until 10/1. I called today to be sure they're open before driving over. Three calls were auto-disconnected. Looked up their website, which states the business is OPEN, but there's a post dated 9/26 that they've lost their lease and the business is PERMANENTLY CLOSED. So I'm confused about the sign on the door and the open status indicated on the website??? ARE YOU OPEN OR NOT??? I HAVE NO MORE CLEAN PANTIES and I'VE GONE COMMANDO FOR FIVE DAYS! MY BUTT'S COLD!
