The fries aren't the same either. The ranch is still on point, so I'll give them that. Last night I ordered a six piece, and I could barely chew the chicken. It wasn't tender or juicy. It was tough, rubbery, and felt like I was chewing something I couldn't even break down. Some of the skin had a weird slippery, almost plastic-like texture that I couldn't bite through. It honestly didn't taste like real chicken, and it definitely didn't taste like the chicken I used to get from Gabe's. To make matters worse, I ordered a Coke that arrived warm. Not cool, not room temperature, but warm enough that it clearly hadn't been refrigerated. Food is too expensive these days to be playing with people's meals. I don't know if they changed chicken vendors, changed suppliers, or changed the way they prepare it, but something is different, and not in a good way.
