The ice was LOVELY, very smooth and MOSTLY level, though at the rounded corners it made a bit of a dip near the barriers. There was ample stadium seating for putting on/ removing skates and spectating. There were a few helpers on the ice to assist those that fell. The meh: Standing on a line that snaked from the entry level down the stairs and outside in the cold and wind. Skate rental and restrooms on a separate floor from the rink. The awkward: having to descend/ascend the stairs with skates on. People (both adults and children) crowded the entryway to the ice. Overall, it was a solid option for indoor/ temperature-controlled ice-skating.

They gave out free snacks, was a line but still Managed to get some snacks. However the only qualm I have is they were giving out free ice cream but it was so melted when I ate it it fell off the stick! However Barclays employees quickly came to clean up the mess without fuss so kudos to them! However I wouldn't recommend Barclays to allow ice cream that isn't properly refrigerated to give away in the future. Beautiful arena for a game. Definitely will be back. Ellie the Elephant even came to our section because I think it's where most of we Asians were due to AAPI night.

You're only allowed to bring in a small bag which I loved. Also, there's a small set of escalators to go up after getting your ticket scan. This place is huge! This place is clean! There are plenty of restrooms, bars, and food vendors. It's best to get here early for your event to allow time for you to use the restroom and get drinks and/or food prior to the show. My relative and I were seated in Section 112. It felt like it took forever to get there since it was a long way around the spacious venue. I think this venue is a great alternative for MSG and Barclays Center. The drinks here come in a mason jar which is different and amazing. What's not so great is the prices for the drinks. I wish there were a little less. Other than that, definitely a great venue to attend various events.

I've been here numerous times since they opened my last time was for the Circus & for Monster Jam. I come here for Monster Jam every year now. I used to go to the Nassau Coliseum but they switched Monster Jam to UBS & been here ever since. In 1960 the space was converted for concerts and live events. The place feels special, previously hosting iconic groups like the Beatles, Bob Dylan and Rolling Stones. Its electric vibe still carries strong today. Tonight Shawn Mendes long awaited show did not disappoint. He lite up the night with all his fav's and even took to the crowd to add next level with his Houdini appearance mid show. As he pop out of nowhere into the upper tier crowd and surprised everyone. This is a huge win for a venue like this. The bleacher seating isn't the most comfortable and I wish that was actual seats with backs. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly. The train situation when the concert ends isn't great. Not sure why the LIRR entrances were closed so we wound up walking to the E train. I'd come back to this venue if someone else I like performs.

I came here because of the basketball battle of the coasts: New York Knicks (New York-East Coast) vs. Golden State Warriors (California-West Coast). Upon entering the building, there were many security lines to go through for clearance. One of the security staff members gave me a bit of difficulty with going through the scanner a total of three times and constantly checking my coat. Next, the building itself was huge to navigate through. My seat was located in Section 416, so I had to go all the way to the top of the building. Thankfully, I was able to take the escalators. There were a lot of food stands (standard snacks like hot dogs, pretzels, etc) and alcohol drink booths readily available. Bathrooms were also reasonably stationed in a fair distance. When the basketball game concluded, it was a bit of a hassle to get out. The escalators were completely shut down, so people had to take the flight of stairs down. Overall, Madison Square Garden is a fantastic hub for sporting games like the NBA, as well as other events, including concerts. Despite the slight hiccup with security and the closure of the escalators, I still had an amazing experience with the spectacular view of the Knicks vs. Warriors game.

There wasn't a clearly marked spot to drop us off and so we walked a bit, and we ended up walking right past the station. It was directly across the bridge. So, definitely, take the subway next time. We made a reservation at Champions restaurant, but (Scam - they take your credit card for a reservation even though only courtside tickets are allowed to dine here) we were not able to eat there. I didn't like how we had to wait to get past the gates, they hold you there until after 6pm for the evening matches. Then, of course, the crowd rushes for the food, the bathrooms, and the shops and as a result, you can't do much of anything. Still, I had a delicious lobster roll from the food kiosks (Red Hook Lobster Pound). Inside Arthur Ashe, the seating was great, there were plenty of bathrooms and food options, and with the screens, you could see everything. What I didn't like, was the constant seat switching by people trying to get better seats. I suppose this happens at stadiums everywhere, but since you are supposed to be in your seat for play to start, this was so annoying to see people going up and down the stairs. Still, we got to see some great tennis, and the vibes here are great. It took forever to get to the ride share pickup (this needs better signage) and we walked quite a ways in the dark.

Security was quick and easy to get through especially considering the large crowds. The US Open village really is as cool as they say. Lots of Us open swag for sale and corporate sponsor pop ups (saw a lot from Chase in particular). If you leave the game you can always watch the match from one or the several television screens outside too. I thought the food options weee excellent. I saw lots of high end restaurants lile Coqadoq and FUKU and Eataly. Not your run of the mill fast food. It's very pricey though($8 for a soda). Don't believe they permit outside food. Inside the stadium itself, ithe seats were clean. Not super comfortable but pretty standard stadium seats . I liked how before the start of the game they televised the player rules. As someone who doesn't follow tennis closely this was a nice refresh. I'm not sure that I've seen this at other sports games I've been to. All in all I enjoyed my experience at Asher Ashe. I can't believe it's taken me this long to visit.

Her name was Nicole, and our conversation was everything I didn't know I needed. She genuinely made my day. The stadium itself is a nice setup for smaller events, and the food at the stands was surprisingly good too.
