They had what I had been told was the best brand of muck boots from Australia, called Red Back with a black widow spider logo. Solid leather with vibram like rubber sole that doesn't mark floors but is tacky and tough. The boots were fantastic after a little stretching they performed as my foot is notoriously wide at EEE width, so fit is very important as I put a lot of miles on my feet with no car in Edinburgh and it's a very hilly place! Now these boots serve for washing the car or yard work as they offer great protection from the wet and are stiff enough to take a blow or fallen branch! This store has more than shoes with some nice shirts, pants and wigwam socks of course but the quality of knowledge on shoes and fitting is par none! Everything I've ever bought here lasts so long! This is a true American family business that treats their customers with respect, kindness and provides a good value for your money! They have been willing for me to order shoes with them that can be hard to get in my sizes and so the price is even more reasonable. Don't pass on Eraldi's!

Rather than accepting every project, she carefully evaluated each dress and agreed to work on only two. She explained that while the other two dresses could technically be altered, the fabric and fit would make it difficult to achieve a result that met her quality standards. I greatly appreciated her honesty and professionalism. Many businesses would have accepted all four dresses, but Tina was focused on delivering work she could confidently stand behind. Her transparency and commitment to quality immediately gave me confidence in her expertise. During my first visit to Tina, I brought both my dresses to try on to assess the alterations that I needed done (mostly hemming). She provided a quote at that time, and stated that payment could be made at pick-up. I found her pricing to be very reasonable given the complexity of the dresses (material and multiple layers). The two dresses she altered turned out beautifully. The craftsmanship was excellent, and the fit was exactly what I wanted. The turnaround time was about two weeks from drop-off to pickup, which I found very reasonable (especially since I had told Tina there was no rush). She clearly takes pride in her work and pays close attention to the details that make a difference. One thing to note is that English is her second language and Mandarin is her first, so there can be a bit of a language barrier. If you speak Mandarin, communication will likely be even smoother. That said, I found Tina to be thoughtful, professional, and genuinely committed to achieving the best possible result for her clients. I would definitely return for future alterations and would highly recommend Tina's Alterations to anyone looking for quality workmanship and honest, trustworthy service.

I had one pair of vintage Levi's cleaned after having acquired them on the resale market, and had challenges with getting them cleaned and thoroughly deodorized; even after three wash cycles, an overnight distilled white vinegar soak, and a direct sunlight air dry. After all that didn't work, I decided to bring my denim to Ideal for a final attempt. I dropped off on Wednesday and asked for Friday pick-up which the owner said was possible. I called on Thursday to see if an earlier pick-up was possible, and provided my ticket number to which I got a call back after checking on my piece. I was told that Friday morning would allow for service completion- which was fine. I picked the denim up first thing on Friday morning, and the scent I was trying to get out is completely gone. The quick turn around, friendly service and supporting a local business, Ideal is a great choice. For my one pair of denim, I paid $8. This is more than reasonable. Great service, quick turn around and much better than other cleaners. I will be going to Ideal for my pieces, and am interested in having a cleaning done on bigger pieces I have.
