Mike pointed out several safety issues that needed to be addressed, told me where I could get cheap parts, told me what I shouldn't bother replacing, and even sent some of my parts off to get sandblasted! He repaired my suspension, installed a new wiring harness, and his rates were incredibly reasonable. Sanchez Automotive isn't afraid or dismissive of working on older vehicles (I had this happen to me at Wallace Automotive--another review for another day) so you can feel confident if there's a fix, they'll get it done. Sánchez Automotive does quality work at reasonable rates. They take the time to thoroughly check what's causing the trouble. According to the owner and also from what I've experienced in both my visits so far to Sanchez Automotive, they don't cut corners. So you can rest assured they'll keep an eye out for potential troublemakers. If they find something along the way that needs attention they'll let you know and recommend a fix or let you know it's something that can be delayed until another visit. Something else that's reassuring is they have a phone number for emergency vehicle troubles. First time I've seen this--what a service, like the after hours number to the on-call physician. Not sure what happens because I haven't had to use it but I was super impressed when I heard their outgoing message with the number to call for emergency car troubles. A couple of things to note: Because they are thorough and don't cut corners, they may take longer to get to your vehicle than first anticipated. If you can swing it, it's worth the wait. There's a 3.5% surcharge for using credit cards--something many businesses are adding these days, and not a deal breaker.
