From the outside in, looks amazing. Second time but at another location almost before Hurricane Harvey on Cypresswood and Hwy-249. And I ordered crawfish during crawfish season only then, so it was spicy and seasoned. Today food was bland. Fried mushroom was not seasoned, seasoned rice wasn't seasoned at all, and patty melt patty was not flavorful at all. Seems foods on the menu needs sauces, and extra spices to taste good here. The only thing not needing sauces or extra seasoning was the blackened catfish and the fried jalapeños we ordered. Oreo milkshake was a good sweet but too thick, needed to stir enough to slurp with straw. Food here is medium priced, but I'm into my tastebuds if I'm gonna pay for medium priced food. Had to remove the patty melt off order cause burger patty had no taste. Who knows, maybe the cooks here or the food is served like that at all locations? Not sure if I will give here another try soon. Literally, fries were seasoned in some areas but not all, and mushrooms tasted battered not seasoned. Had better mushrooms at other places. Felt like there's no heart in this kitchen here tonight!

An antique car held bottled drinks as you enter! Cute decor.

We were craving catfish and salad! So we landed here late Saturday night. Literally 40 minutes prior to closing. Order at the counter and pay afterwards. Honor system. Our cashier was new and being trained (by the shift manager we assumed). But the cashier did not skip a beat while taking our order. He asked us numerous times if we had any questions pertaining to our order while we did not. We both ordered the small fried catfish basket. Good value at $10 each came with 4 catfish strips and coleslaw. I opted for the Cesar salad as my side which was super sized! Large enough to share to which I did so! Karen requested the street corn. Karen said the street corn was fantastic. I looked across and noticed a couple eating fried onion rings ($2.49). And yes I placed an order with our server Leisa. Leisa was Totally amazing, by the way. The onion rings were served with creamy homemade ranch dressing. So So good! I would return for both catfish and onion rings! Added a dash of chalula hot sauce to the ranch and ketchup kicked up style. The entire check was $27.00 great value. Amazing service too! Leisa made us 2 take out lemonades. Requested No ice since the outside temperatures were less than cozy! I must mention that Karen and I were leisurely eating and talking. But as I said earlier the place was about to close. But not once did we feel rushed. We had to ask for our check. So much appreciated management!!! But we did not want to stay longer than necessary. Thank you for a great dinner!

As for the food, it was just okay overall. The burgers were definitely the highlight--they were cooked well and tasted great. I had the cheeseburger, and while it was good, what surprised me was that fries don't come with the burger. They're a separate $3-5 add-on depending on whether you want plain or seasoned fries. The fries themselves were good, but it would be nice if they were included with the meal. The parrancha steak seemed a little overcooked and didn't have much flavor, and the coleslaw wasn't really my favorite. I also wasn't a fan of the pork rinds they bring out to snack on before the meal. Personally, I'd much rather have chips or another lighter appetizer. Pork rinds on top of a burger and fries just felt like overkill. Of course, food is subjective, and this is just my personal opinion. While I wasn't a huge fan of the menu overall, others may absolutely love it. The service and ambiance were definitely the strongest parts of the experience. Overall, I'd give Bogados 3 out of 5 stars. Great atmosphere and excellent service, but the food just didn't quite hit the mark for me. That said, it may end up being your new favorite spot--you never know until you try it for yourself.

Staff is seasoned and professional, even the young staff carry themselves in a refined, respectful manor. Man, I sound old. Point is: it was a breath of fresh air. Now, it is a sports bar. TV Screens you can see from everywhere except the patio. The real money here is that they make everything scratch when you pick it, and Kimberly expressly impressed upon us, substitute and/or add anything you want. It is all custom made to order! (she didn't literally say "and/or" but you get the idea...I'm paraphrasing) None of this; $2.95 to add avocado, or $4.95 to add grilled shrimp. $1 to order your protein of choice blackened, $2 add shrimp. Come on now!!! Do that! This is the quietest sports bar I have ever been to. Dark Wood interior, booths that tuck you away from the crowd but leave you readily exposed to a plethora of flat screens, so you don't miss the Astros and the Yankees! I can't go over this whole menu, because it is like a sprawling playground, so many options. And not like a fast-food fiasco either. You just might want ALL of this stuff. Really, look at the menu, some time went into these names of dishes and array of ingredients. I use Fish Tacos as one of my staple "check this place out" orders. $1 blackened my Cod Tacos and YES! Wnner. fresh made slaw, pretty spicy Adobo Sauce, delicate tortilla, not doughy or thick. And yeah, it's Carb night for Daddy, sweet potato fries...Can I have a moment..."Good" is embarrassed next to these fries. These things rock! I stole my boy's ranch to dip them in. (Don't judge; I can't stand Ketchup) My wife gets the Grilled Chicken Wrap, Its huge. She took half home. My son is yes, still a child, and gets the Chicken Fingers and fries with Lemonade, from their "Small Appetites" menu page, he couldn't finish it. Are you getting the portion picture here? I had to, HAD to, order the smoked pulled pork Oklahoma Kitchen Sink Nachos! A half order, mind you, and we could have left after that and been happy. My first nacho chip didn't even have pork on it and I could taste the smoke, kitchen crafted Pico with a lime bite, Connie's Queso and enough melty Chedder to make your cardiologist throw a flag on the field. It's always hard to say you have a new best friend, but, hard to deny as well...I want at least 15 other items on this menu. The Loo Review, less spectacular, almost don't want to end on it, but here goes... there is a separate sit-down door and its a real door, not a truck-stop stall. Tastefully white tiled, all the stuff you need, and basically, just-get-back-out-there-and-enjoy-the-food adornments. See pics. Clean and tidy, except for the fact this is a sports bar and everybody isn't blessed with aim. Back to the place, did I mention the super-fly patio? draped with lights and lattice work to keep you "inside the venue". I can't give it enough 5 stars. We will return for more. You must go!
