Overall: Friendly employees, quick service, and correct orders Food: I live by a "When in Rome..." philosophy so that meant I had to try the most popular burger, the Crazy Cow. I asked for my burger to be cooked to medium temp - our server was hesitant because the patty is so thin they have had complaints from customers if they felt it was more medium rare, but that wasn't the case and the patty was cooked a perfect medium temp. The only thing that would have made it perfect were if I could have had the steak cooked to medium too. It must be said 10 oz is a lot of meat for one setting along with the bun, dressing and fries. That said, this easily became two meals for me and it was just as delicious reheated as it was before. I have to credit the medium preparation for that fact. Service was good. They managed several tables without neglecting anyone. Decor was coordinated. I don't think a green wall is necessary for a burger spot but I didn't hate it. I love that they have screens. Would be a great place to grab a burger and watch the game.

Why 3 stars? Because I wanted to like it so much, but it was just okay. --- --- --- I just discovered Bocados a few days earlier before checking it out. That almost never happens because I have so many bookmarks and places I want to try, but Bocados looked so amazing and I was going to be in the area, so I expedited right to the top of the priority list. The whole menu looked awesome, including all ten-ish burgers, but I ultimately just went with the Crazy Cow because it was labeled as the best seller. When it came to the table, I could not have been more excited, as it looked like all of my hopes and dreams on a plate. Unfortunately, the more I ate, the more I just kind of felt like main way to describe it was... heavy. And don't get me wrong, I love a good heavy meal, but it wasn't "oh this burger is awesome, but it's also heavy." It was just: heavy. The same can be said for the fries that I added cheese and bacon to. I ate this meal at about 2pm and did not eat again the rest of the day, after only having a light breakfast. And I mostly just kind of felt a bit uncomfortably stuffed the rest of the day. My server was great, and like I said, the menu was full of nothing but appealing stuff. But I just didn't love my burger. I would definitely be open to trying them again in the future though.

How did this place sneak by me?! I stumbled on this place after leaving golf at Windrose in search of a burger. When I saw the menu, the burger - while the pictures looked great - the burger fell out of scope. Once I saw all the meat options, the decision became a no-brainer. I ordered the parrilla. It checked every box. Hot Fresh Delicious Quantity Variety The food was awesome. The platter offers steak, chicken, Argentinian sausage, fries, and other goodie that I couldn't finish. It says it feeds 2 people, but those 2 people can munch on this over several meals. And that meat flavor? I' still drool when I think about it. For the healthy types - even their salads look delish! The restaurant itself is causal - you can sit inside or out. The staff is very friendly. Go check it out!!! You'll be glad you did.

Ohhhh ma gawwwd! Where have you been all of my life Mr. Bocados? As old as I am and the amount of hamburger places I've been, this has to be in the top 3 for ME. Parking might be challenging in peak times but for the most part on my 2nd visit, it wasn't busy still so nothing to fret about at that time. I feel reserved about getting attached to this establishment because I came here for my first visit on a Saturday night, about 8pm "ish" and like most places are supposed to be bustling....it was not. Ok, what's wrong here? Let's give it a try. I guess this could almost compare to be a Brazilian/Venezuelean version of a Red Robin, but much much better. I liked it so much I came back the next day as well. The menu has it's spread of different types of burgers but they're not your typical American menu case of course. You will be presented with different names and ingredients but no limited to grilled queso fresco, pico de gallo, fried eggs and GARLIC SAUCE that has crack in it! The meats are SMOKED lightly which makes a whole world of difference. That's just part of it because the menu also has a spread of other foods you should try. Service, excellent, for the most part. The first gentleman we got on that Saturday could make a 2 star meal turn into a 4 with his acknowledgement of the menu and his table side manner of reading his customers (I think his name was Juan/Jose or similar ) without being intrusive. The person that we got the next day was almost as good but my constructive criticism if I was being super picky would be that one should tell the customers if the drink (Iced Tea) is coming from a bottle/can instead of an urn that we're used to or assume it would come from. It still didn't take away from the experience but it could ruin others. The prices are about an average of I would say $16ish per burger in which they are totally worth it. The interior is pretty decent for a burger place and I would suspect that this establishment is probably a bit new. There is a patio that you can sit in and enjoy your meal with strings of Edison type lights. All in all, this is one of those places that you have to try and tell me what you think. See you there!

First time visit and my family and I love it and will be coming back. The staff is sooo nice, too, and helpful. There is a kids menu but we decided to do family style dinner (out of the norm for us - but we were also trying somewhere new so what the heck) and my 4 year old ate it up!! That was so good to see, but no doubt the food was nothing short of amazing and absolutely delicious. I recommend this place! We couldn't leave without trying dessert!

I was in the mood for a burger and my girls were in the mood for pancakes. We found the perfect happy medium at Bocados. I ordered the Crazy cow, which is topped with steak and Pico de gallo. The burger was flavorful and well cooked. My girls ordered the Nutella pancakes. The portion sizes were very generous! The strawberry lemonade was outstanding. Our server was very nice and attentive. He checked on us constantly and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit.

Bocados Burger and Grill delivers big flavor with a great atmosphere. The burgers are juicy, well seasoned, and cooked perfectly, with quality ingredients that really stand out. I'd definitely recommend getting one of their burgers; it is the star of the menu. The fries are perfectly crispy, hot, and seasoned just right, making them the ideal side. Service is friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe makes it a great spot to hang out and enjoy a good meal. Definitely a place worth coming back to.

Ok wow! That's what I'll say! Bocados Burger & Grill is fantastic! We don't usually go out for burgers, they are too easy, good and inexpensive to make at home, but THIS place! Apparently it's Venezuelan and it's a rather unassuming spot but how great this was! My Burger had bacon, pico and some meat called picanha, on top of the burger and this entire piece of grilled queso fresco and a green garlic aeoli (is that redundant ‍). Burger held together the whole time and was SUPER tasty with really nothing too overpowering the other ingredients. Fries were solid! Place was comfy, smelled good and was clean. Had an outdoor area too. I finished about 3/4 of the burger, took the rest home and ate 2 days later heating it up in the toaster over. Honestly, it shouldn't have tasted so awesome on day 2 but it did! Still holding together too! They have a few additional items besides burgers and we will definitely be back!! What a find!

It's noted on the menu that is must be served medium rare, no exceptions - that's my preferred temperature anyway, so it was perfect for me. It was indeed juicy and tender. The cajun fries were a nice pairing. We enjoyed our experience overall. Was it a top notch, amazing burger? I wouldn't go that far, but it did its job and I'm happy we came and tried it out.

At least not enjoy spending it. But with prices these days getting way out of hand what can you do. I got the rattlesnake because I saw it touted as their award winning burger. Not sure from where the award came. But this and their trash can tacos had the emblem next to it. You also get a veggie pack with your to-go burger which has chopped lettuce, pickles, raw onions and 2 slices of tomatoes. That's nice so you don't have to put on the required latex gloves to use their veggie bar to get these yourselves. It's in a separate bag. I thought this was the buger at first and was secretly getting a bit concerned when I saw the cook toss it onto the counter like a bean bag. The cashier was super nice. He offered me water as I waited. They had another guy working in the back cooking the food. You also get a thimble of ketchup in your Togo bag along with a packet of mustard and mayo. The bun was a little burnt. And I couldn't taste any of the mixed in jalapeños. Also I kinda wish they had whole lettuce rather than chopped just because it kept falling out of the burger. But other than these issues the burger was pretty tasty. Definitely not a McDonald's burger like one person posted. But also not the best burger ever as many other posters swear by. Definitely glad I went. But don't know if I'd be willing to spend another $20 on one of their Burgers either. They're closed on Sundays according to Google maps which is old school nice to see.

A quick Google search brought this place up first with 4.9 stars, which is practically unheard of these days, so we decided to try it. Wow. What a meal. We started with the onion ring basket and a half order of beer bread. The onion rings were fantastic--huge, thick-cut rings with a wonderfully seasoned batter that actually had flavor instead of tasting flat or bland. Served piping hot, which matters to me because I like my food HOT. The ranch dressing was a great addition, too. The beer bread was decent. You could definitely taste the beer, but it wasn't the best loaf I've ever had. Mom, Mark, and I all ordered the grilled ribeye steak sandwich. I'm the only one who got it as designed on the menu. I originally expected more of a slab-of-steak sandwich, but it was actually closer to a Philly cheesesteak style sandwich, which honestly I prefer. Mom and Mark skipped the peppers, onions, garlic aioli, and pepper jack cheese in favor of lettuce, tomato, and mayo instead. Our waiter, Evan, was wonderful! He was friendly, attentive, accommodating, and clearly proud of the restaurant. He even offered to tell us the history of the building and restaurant, which added so much to the experience. The story is also printed on the back of the menu, and it's definitely worth reading. Evan mentioned he's only been there a few months, but he is absolutely an asset to the restaurant as a server. My brother Mark is blind and autistic, and it's honestly not often a server addresses him directly. They usually look to mom or me and ask, "What does he want?," but Evan asked Mark directly. Kudos to him. We had to finish the meal with the historical whiskey chocolate cake, and I'm glad we did. It's served warm with whipped cream on the side, caramel sauce drizzled across the plate, and pecans on top. Absolutely delicious and huge! There were four of us who shared it, and it was more than enough for each of us. Also worth mentioning: the sweet potato fries are an extra $4 but absolutely worth it. These are NOT frozen Ore-Ida fries dumped from a bag. They're clearly fresh cut and homemade, and they were delicious. For nearly two o'clock in the afternoon, the place was packed--at least three-quarters full--and the entire atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Everyone we encountered was friendly. I live in Katy, so Old Town Spring is definitely not nearby for me, but I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone in the area or just passing through. It's easy to see why people love it. A definite five-star experience for us!
