He even asked our next door neighbors for permission to clean up a bit that went over there (homes here are very close together). In the areas that I and my husband were able to look at, it looks almost like a new roof. As you can see from the before / after photos, there are a few stains remaining, but all living garbage (moss, lichen, and whatever else was growing up there) is completely gone. They were highly recommended by our roofer, so I didn't get any other quotes. I can't say whether the price was high, low, or average. At roughly 75 cents per square foot, the cost was certainly more than I was expecting. (The type of roof, as well as its pitch, probably also factors in to the pricing.) So 5* for the job as accomplished, with the caveat that the price seemed high. But then again, what doesn't these days?

We were concerned about pressure washing because we had read horror stories about damage and also were concerned about losing the color of our tiles. He went above and beyond and even power washed a few areas of the property. We will definitely be using his services again next year for the gutters. During that visit, I mentioned that our clothes were not getting dry from our dryer and that we think that the dryer vent was clogged. Tony came out within a couple days and took care of this issue as well. The vent was clogged up with a bunch of old dryer lint. He cleaned it out from both directions, not only behind the dryer, but he also got onto the roof where the vent led out and made sure that there was nothing else clogging that line. While their prices have continued to rise, which is understandable, the value has dropped. After a text quote of 275.00, I scheduled for May 22. Only one person showed up to do all of the work, which was rather poor (streaks and smudges were left). At the conclusion of the work, he stated that it would be 295.00 and when I mentioned the text quote, he just shrugged. I didn't want to put an employee in the position of negotiating price, so I paid it. Mind you, I only have a total of 8 windows in a two-story townhouse. About 2 weeks later, I discovered that one of my screens had been torn free of the frame from two of the four sides. It was ruined, and had to be replaced. Bailey Boys does not have any type of waiver protecting them from this sort of damage, and I find it both disappointing and unprofessional that the employee did not acknowledge the damage when it was caused. I contacted Bailey Boys via the email address listed on their website on June 7 to notify them of the issue and to date, I have received no response whatsoever. I do not, nor did I, expect any type of compensation for the damage, but I do believe that at the very least an acknowledgement and an apology were in order. I will not be using their services again.

A couple of years ago I noticed the amount of energy we were supposed to be getting with our solar panels had severely decreased as our SMUD bill increased. Someone recommended getting the panels cleaned. I saw a sign for Sierra Maintenance leaving our neighborhood and decided to give them a call. After they cleaned the panels, I noticed a lower SMUD bill the next month and in the subsequent months and even to this day. They also send before and after pictures which show just how filthy the panels can get. They also cleaned our gutters this time which I didn't realize had a ton of gunk in them. Our home is two-story ~ 4k sq foot. We have about 12 panels and it was ~$200 to clean them plus another $360 to clean the gutters. Excellent company, which I will refer to others as well as use again next year.
