Nothing more American than Apple Pie! *yummmo*

In honor of 4th of July week, I thought I'd go check out the most #Americana cafe, I could find, near me! It turns out, it'sin Silvana, WA and called Willow & Jim's Country Cafe ()This little town and cafe remind me a bit of of the Fried Green Tomatoes movie and the Whistle Stop Cafe! Everyone gathers there, because the food and service are so good! I love how people are greeted by all of these stars and stripes, when they walk in! This place sure was packed, with everyone, especially all of the local golden girls and church goers! This is a major hotspot, in downtown Silvana and I'm living for it!!! I mean, homemade PIES, Giant Pancakes, Malt Shakes and everything in-between! You will adore their vintage vibe and how this gathering place brings so many local residents together!!! (Best part is that the owners live upstairs and, have renovated the space into this gorgeous gorgeous vintage showcase!) I people who go all out and really put lots of love, into everything they do! #Willow&JimsCountryCafe #SilvanaWA #breakfast #brunch #lunch #locallove #localfavorite #supportsmallbusinesses #supportlocal #Nelzlovesit

    Corned beef hash breakfast

This place is always so busy and now I know why. There is some parking in front and then across the street next to the railroad tracks. We were seated pretty quickly in the back next to a large window with plenty of sunlight. Our server was very friendly even though could tell she was handling a lot of tables. I had the corned beef hash breakfast, with two eggs, hash browns and toast. The hash is a bit mushier but very tasty. The eggs were cooked perfectly over easy. The hash browns were crispy on top and soft underneath. The rye toast was already buttered, so if you don't like that make sure to ask for it dry. There are a few stores including the five and dime/antique store to check out after.

The food is good, the service is great and the theme is so fun. In our experience, this restaurant is one of the friendliest places on earth, even the customers were welcoming and nice. 10/10 will be back

The bacon and mushroom omelet was so good!

My family and I came here at the end of my BIL's wedding weekend and it was delightful! The servers were so friendly, and the food came out quickly. It was really cozy and comfortable and a great place to sit and chat. And the food!! The hashbrowns were our favorite part - so crispy and delicious! And the eggs and everything were great too! I'd HIGHLY recommend coming here for an affordable and delicious meal. We'll definitely come again if we're ever in the area.

    Local flair!

We love this truly "country cafe" and drive 50 miles to enjoy it. It's like going to grandma's house at Thanksgiving. The very plentiful portions of freshly prepared food to the quaint old comfy chairs and brightly covered tables make a wonderful welcoming experience. The local friendly patrons and excellent service add to the warm ambiance. Every menu item is deliciously prepared and proudly served by a very friendly staff. We are not usually desert eaters but at this establishment it is a must! Their pies are the best homemade on the planet!

Fine enough people, but I don't care for pre-cooked breakfast items like the sausage and bacon. Really Miss the place being dick and fays

Ellie's at the Airport - B52 breakfast with GIGANTIC pancakes!

I've been in a serious breakfast place slump for a while now--most places around Marysville has either sub-par food, sub-par service, or sky high prices. Ellie's at the Airport is the complete package AND comes with a great view of the airfield where you can watch the aircraft come and go, something my kids LOVED. I ordered the B-52 and when the food arrived in a perfectly reasonable amount of time, I was literally doing a happy dance in my seat. Every element on the plate was perfectly prepared down to the sourdough toast which was impressively thick. They even had all 4 types of Smuckers jam packets on the table--I don't think I've seen orange marmalade in a restaurant in about 15 years. The service was fast and friendly, they use the twistable crayons my ham-fisted kids can't break. The pancakes were the size of dinner plates. For once, I had a $20 breakfast that felt like it was worth the price rather than the consequence of inflation. I can't say enough great things about Ellie's. I definitely found our new favorite breakfast spot. Slump is officially over.

Once we were seated our server quickly arrived and we got waters and coffee. The food arrived in a reasonable length of time and was good for the most part. I ordered my usual bacon and eggs plate with hash browns and toast. So I'll start with the good... the hash browns were GREAT, crunchy on the outside, nice and pillowy on the inside. Perfect! The bacon was also great. Nice and crispy, just like I ordered it. The toast, sourdough, was lightly toasted and had enough butter to satisfy. However it was only one slice of bread, not two, which isn't the norm in most places. But it was plenty. Now, to the bad... I ordered my eggs soft poached and explained to the waitress that I wanted the yolk to be runny. Well, these were done...done.... Not quite hard boiled but definitely not runny yolks. But I ate them anyway because I didn't want to wait for them to be remade. Overall the breakfasts were good. The prices are pretty high. I think my bacon and eggs plate breakfast was $17.99 plus the coffee. Total with tax and tip was $30 which is high. Everyone seemed to enjoy their breakfast in our group so we might stop in when going golfing again.
