My friend asked a question while I was getting signed up and the guy snapped that he'll tell me when he's ready and then I can answer the question? Not being able to drink outside the bar isn't clearly shown on the website so we were shocked to learn this. Which wouldn't be the worst problem but all 3 bartenders made the same drink different and in different glasses. A mixed drink shot should go in a larger shot glass. One did this, one put it in a small cocktail glass, and the other put the cocktail shots in the smallest shot glasses- which means because the shots were mixed we got less than half of the actual drink in each glass. Just unprofessional and sloppy work. At one point we were winning so we were recording the bonus to advertise the location and security came over to stop us from recording? I asked if there was a sign saying not to I missed and said I was sorry and she about bit my head off saying there are signs posted everywhere. I looked and didn't see a single one. Two machines also gave less money than we were supposed to get as well. And when we tried to play their blackjack machines the buttons did not work so it just ate our money. At some point we wanted dinner so we went to look at the menu of their one restaurant and, yet again, the staff was rude. We looked at the menu for less than a minute before the man sighed and said "so table or not?" I'm not paying high casino food prices to yet another rude staff member so we drove back into town for dinner instead. Now about the rooms- do NOT expect to sleep!!!! The curtains did not close all the way so you can't block out the sun. But that's nothing compared to the LOUD ac machine. So loud we literally could not sleep. Like a huge engine turned on in the room. The mini fridge was so mini you can't get more than maybe four cans of soda in there. No room for even one takeout box. What's the point. I was going to leave a one star for this anyway but the last night was crazy. Someone pulled the fire alarm so everyone was evacuated. Tag sucks for everyone involved, especially the casino, and I'm aware that's not their fault. But while we were waiting outside some staff started running and saying there was a gun so we should "go to the other side of the parking lot." Um no I'm leaving if there is a gun????? We left for over an hour then came back to see if things had settled. At that point we asked some staff outside if the gun situation was under control, because we wanted to be safe. He looked shocked and asked who told us there was a gun. We explained and he started asking for details on which staff as if the staff shouldn't have said that. He was annoyed that we didn't get a name while we were fleeing???? Officers later confirmed there was a gun so idk why he felt the need to lie. We waited outside for hours and hours even though the gun situation was handled and there was zero fire. Around three in the morning they finally let us back inside. Exhausted we tried to get sleep next to that loud AC. The next morning they tried to offer us a meal ticket for $10 for their breakfast buffet because of the situation??? Are you crazy??? We said we wanted a refund and they took down our number to "call later about it." I'm aware the casino itself did not cause this problem but out of respect for your paying customers the right thing to do would have been an immediate refund for the night. Casinos make enough money and I'm sure they are pressing charges to the people involved and have insurance. Not giving us a refund immediately is an extremely bad look. Then DAYS later they finally call and offer us HALF of our night stay??? We didn't even get half of the sleep we needed! We were exhausted the next day for our plans we made months in advance. Not to mention driving the long way back home with so little sleep is dangerous as well.

The room was nice and comfortable. It had a small sofa bed. They had a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Bathroom amenities included Bonvoy special shampoo, soap and conditioner. Their gym had ellipticals and treadmills. Dumbbells were available. The gym was clean and had wipes for you to clean up after yourself. Breakfast was served in the morning downstairs. Platinum and above members are given $10 credit breakfast credit with most items costing a little more. If you want coffee, it will cost you. This Courtyard was able to give me a good night of sleep so that I could drive another 7 hours the next day. It's a good hotel to stay at if hotels aren't available in the Idaho Falls area.
