Iced coffee drink suggested by worker.
    Markie'Sha J.

The customer service was AMAZING!!!!!!! I have visited this location four times so far and each time is consistent. The customer service is great. The bathrooms are extremely clean and the temperature of the water in the bathroom faucet is actually warm, for some reason that's almost unheard of these days and I really appreciate it. Today I tried a drink that was suggested by one of the workers I have no idea exactly what it's called, but she did use a vanilla bean syrup and it came out gorgeous. I knew I'm just looking at it that this coffee was gonna be good and she did not disappoint.

Drift has become a staple for my brother and I! We had been to the Raleigh location and were thoroughly impressed so we knew we had to check out the new Chapel Hill/Durham location. Safe to say, we were still impressed and may have found our new favorite Drift location! The staff are always so friendly and helpful! A sweet man took our orders and helped answer questions about the coconut coldie and successfully persuaded my brother to try the seasonal raspberry almond iced latte. The gentleman was very knowledgeable about the coffee beans and menu! Our food was made fresh and the quality is something you taste right away! My brother has gotten the burrito both times because it is such a great staple! His only complaint was that the Raleigh location serves potatoes on the side with the burrito and this Chapel Hill location does not. The yogurt bowl was sweet--but not overly sweet. The fresh berries, honey, and granola uplifted it perfectly! The chia bowl was also SO good! The almond butter and jam were the perfect toppings. I have such a hard time picking between the two. The side of eggs are always so fresh and tasty, I am not sure where they get there eggs but they taste farm fresh for sure!! Lastly, the coffee is great! The gentleman told us they roast them locally in Wilmington and they always have fun seasonal drinks! I personally LOVE the Salted Coconut Oat Coldie (Flash Cold Brew Coffee, Maple Oat Cream topped with Coconut Foam), I find myself licking the straw to get every last drop of that coconut cold foam! Next on my list to try from Drift is the seasonal wild blueberry matcha! If you find yourself looking for a delicious brunch spot, do not by any means pass up Drift! The inside is warm and welcoming, the staff are so sweet and helpful, and the food/coffee has yet to disappoint! I will be back very soon, maybe even this weekend!!

2nd day in a row here and I've loved both my coffees and the food I ordered! The coffee is so good! I've had the Iced Gingersnap Latte and the Iced Salted Butterscotch Cappuccino. Both were excellent! The barista's and chefs are so nice and the food was good too. I had the avocado egg and cheese sandwich. It was good. It does come on a bun in case that isn't your jam for a breakfast sandwich. The shop is super cute, good music, and a place I can see myself hanging out with friends or working outside the house. I'm so happy to have a good coffee shop in RTP near work! I think I'll become a regular here! :)

I ordered mine on pressed focaccia bread and everything from the juicy crispy chicken to the parmesan cheese and toppings was top notch. Each of the flavors and textures played so well together that it's hard to stop eating after taking the first bite. Came on a Monday around 1pm and there was no line. Inside the shop was a classic deli where you order at the counter and then browse the various goods/merch while you wait. Service was fast and the sandwiches came out within 5 minutes of ordering. There are a couple picnic tables outside to sit and eat but other than that, mostly a to-go place. First timers: get the Uncle Primo's, you won't regret it!

I got half an uncle primos chicken cutlet sandwich ($11). It was a lot of food and was loaded with chicken! Even just the half sandwich was too much for me to eat at once. While it was tasty, I did feel like it was missing something, and personally didn't find it to be worth the wait. But if the line were shorter in the future I'd come back and try other yummies from the menu.

For me, it's traditionally been a business lunch or dinner destination, but this visit was a personal lunch during the workday. We've now been here several times over the years, and unfortunately the experience has been remarkably consistent. For lunch we ordered: * Blackberry Salmon * Shrimp & Grits * Unsweetened Iced Tea * Saratoga Still Water Our bill came to $70.38 before tax and tip and also included a 3.5% Kitchen Appreciation Fee. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Both the building and the dining room create an inviting atmosphere that makes you expect a memorable meal. The ingredients were clearly high quality, and that's what made the meal somewhat frustrating. The execution simply didn't bring those ingredients to life. The Shrimp & Grits came with only five shrimp. They were perfectly cooked, but the portion felt small for the price. The grits were prepared correctly but lacked much flavor or personality. The Blackberry Salmon had similar issues. The salmon itself was cooked well but wasn't seasoned to let its flavor shine. The rice was bland, and while the blackberries were an interesting idea, they didn't really complement the salmon for us. Again the portion was adequate but not generous. Service was pleasant. We were seated immediately despite arriving at noon on a weekday, and our order was taken promptly. As on previous visits, though, there was a noticeable wait before the food arrived. Parking has always been somewhat limited, although the restaurant now offers complimentary valet parking, which is a nice improvement. One final surprise came when reviewing the receipt afterward: the 3.5% Kitchen Appreciation Fee. We hadn't noticed it during the meal, we were not told about it and then tipped in addition to it. Whether or not restaurants choose to add this type of fee is their decision, but we'd appreciate it being communicated more clearly before the bill arrives so that we are not tipping the 3.5% fee itself. Ultimately, we wanted to like Glasshouse Kitchen more than we did. The setting is beautiful, the ingredients are good, and the staff is pleasant. But after several visits, we continue to come away feeling that the food needs more thoughtful seasoning, the portions don't quite justify the price, and the overall value doesn't match the cost. We hope they'll refine the menu because the restaurant has the foundation to be much better than the meals we've experienced.

So good I came back!…read more Customer Service: Everyone was really nice. It is OTC ordering, and you pick up your food when they call your name. Food: (1st visit) South of the border wrap with brown derby chopper salad 5/5. I ate it all!! The salad was fresh and a mix of the perfect amount of ingredients. The wrap was thiccc and chicken was juicy and hot (temp)! (2nd visit) I got the special of the day: which was a burger with the spinach salad 5/5. Again the salad was amazing could've made it better myself. I'm not sure what was better the burger itself or bun...burger was hefty and juicy with a slight taste of the summer nostalgic grill char and the bun was soft and forgiving but firm in the right places to hold everything together. Beverage: 5/5 I got the Sweet Iced Tea which was good but then did a 70/30 mix with lemonade and that was banging! The lemonade was a fountain drink, tea made in house. Dessert: I might be addicted to those brownies man! That's a don't eva skip! Total Price with Tip: Expect to spend at least 20 dollars for lunch, beverage, and dessert. Ambiance: Nice vibes, really cool art, highly utilized small space. Special shoutout to the pot mixer (bread knead mixer repurposed as plant pottery) Perfect for lunch! I did not use the bathroom, but I believe it's offered in the back. Fullness Level: 6/5. Parking: Highly accessible Highly recommend this place and the story is great! Check her out yall!

"Great deli-style sandwiches, from rather hidden location on Chapel Hill Rd"…read more Came by here on a Saturday. This place is REALLY hard to find... it's behind the State Farm building, but there's barely any signage from the street. (Note: some photos here in Yelp seem to be from an older location.) We actually came one Saturday, but it was unexpectedly closed, but we caught them the following one, so good to call and confirm before driving over. You walk up to a door on the back, and scan a QR code to see the menu. Then knock on/ open the door and someone will come to take your order. Then you wait outside and they bring you your sandwiches. The lady who took our order was very friendly. The kitchen was rather large, so I suspect it's used for more than just this business. We ordered two turkey subs-- the East New York (which was slightly spicy) and the Dumbo. Wait time was maybe 7-10 minutes or so. Both sandwiches came nicely wrapped, and I think total cost was a little over $20. And conveniently, they take Apple Pay. These were not your Subway or Quiznos sandwiches-- these were DELICIOUS pressed sandwiches (we got them on focaccia. I personally liked the Dumbo the best-- it had a nice mix of flavors that meshed well. The East New York was solid and had a nice spiciness, but not quite as exciting overall. Would I come back? Probably, but since there's no seating, and it's a bit awkward, maybe not the first place I'd think to try, but again, the sandwiches were REALLY good. I do think it may be excellent for catering or for getting picnic sandwiches though.
