So many cool-looking foodstuffs here at Willow Market. And there's an entire room dedicated to wine (the Wine Room), as well as local beer and cider on tap that you can dispense yourself. We were able to leave with a few drinks and snacks, but our intention was to get some sandwiches and perhaps some barbecue meats and other things to go. Unfortunately, they were out of every single thing we wanted. It was around dinner time, and they had some cole slaw and macaroni salad left, and some other entree that didn't sound appealing. And they didn't plan on making any more, so we left without dinner. Oh well. I had heard that Willow was the place to visit when you're in Cadillac, and that might be true. No Moomers ice cream. The lady said they'd not had an operational freezer the entire summer (high season). You'd think someone would fix that to get customers to come back in. I'd have bought other things but I came in for Moomers. And Moomers needs to update its website. You can't get it in Cadillac. read more

The green house is a great venue Willow Market has great bar BQ and an astounding assortment of gourmet food (including Moomers- the best ice cream in America! And underground cheese cake!) plus a great selection of beers on tap (by the glass or the growler) and cans and bottles. read more

As far as the entire store goes - it's great! It has everything you need for a stop. And the wine room is absolutely awesome! But we went there for the sandwiches based on a Google search. We did not have the best experience. We waited for about 5 minutes before anyone greeted us at the deli. Several workers walked by, looked at us, but never said a word. Another customer waiting behind us walked over and asked the guy behind the other checkout counter if someone was coming to help - they finally did. We then waited 15 minutes for them to make 2 sandwiches (from all premade ingredients). I ordered the Boss Hogg and my friend ordered the chicken wrap. I watched as the lady making the wrap went through 2 wraps before just tossing the entire sandwich attempt and starting over for the third. My sandwich had ham/bacon/cheese/red onion slices (not sure why they call them "sweet), and two slices of bread that appeared to be out of a normal bread bag you could get in the bread aisle. I paid $10.99 for a sandwich that any parent can easily pack in a kid's lunchbox. The $9.99 chicken wrap had slimy cold chicken that really had us questioning if it was safe to eat. Disappointing. Place looks promising and we were very excited to try the turkey Reuben. Swirl bread was delicious as was turkey. However there was barely a teaspoon of coleslaw on the entire sandwich and no Russian dressing at all (it was supposed to be a Reuben...). The result was a tasteless, dry sandwich that was definitely not worth the price. Was it because it was to go? It is hard to go back and have it fixed when you are already 20 miles down the road. Cole slaw and dressing are cheap- use it! read more

Emailed To confirm that employees and customers wear masks. They responded promptly that they did and followed CDC guidelines. Went there this morning and two Primo employees had no masks on and an employee in the store had mask below his chin. We left promptly. If you're going to be irresponsible, at least be honest. What a unique place to shop. They have many rare and unique items that they sell. Both food and nonfood items. My favorites where there non-homogenized raw milk and honey sticks. They also have a deli as well as gluten-free pantry items. We will definitely be back. read more

Great find in Cadillac! Offers many local products like Maple Farms goat cheese and Sweet Shop chocolates. BBQ is delicious and they waited on us quickly. Many craft beers and ciders and growlers of local beer to go. In back, a whole plant and hanging basket shop. Our new favorite stop in Cadillac! read more

Best BBQ I ever had, the pulled pork was amazing. And I love that they have a wide selection of beers and even sweet treats.

The food is great, Willow and Primo's. However none of the employees or the owners were wearing masks today. We are still supposed to be wearing them! The service isn't so great. I ordered on the phone, was told 10 minutes. It ended up being 35 min. People that walked in after me that ordered when they got there received their food before me! And finally, the coffee is awful. I ordered it for the 2nd time thinking the first time was a fluke. It wasn't. It is just watered down. Today I ordered a Chai Latte and it wasn't even tea, it was watered down coffee. The toasted Little Italy is the best sandwich in Cadillac and would hold its own in Little Italy NYC.

They have a nice wine and beer selection if your into that. I have never ordered a thin crust pizza without it having a crisp or snap to the crust. If I wanted deep dish I'd ask for all that dough instead I got this sloppy mess that was well undercooked and to put frankly very cheaply put together. Sandwiches are ok but vary from employee to employee. I want that toasted but I'm sorry it was too much work for you to even pay attention to put your phone down. Seriously, come up with a better recipe cause ur current one is trash. If your offended by this review, good because maybe you'll fix your current problem and add pineapple to your pizza menu just like everyone else. read more

I'd read about Willow for a long time but had never shopped there until a recent trip to Cadillac. For some reason I had the idea that it was a hippie joint like a food coop, but it is definitely not; it's a specialty food shop, kitchen store, deli and greenhouse all in one! Willow has an amazing selection of beers and wines, including a lot of Michigan craft brews and vintages; the beers are available by the six-pack or on a mix-and-match basis, which is great fun. The kitchen gadget section is not as large, and from what I could see does not include a lot of appliances, but does have a wide selection of tools, towels and various kitchen/baking helps. The specialty food area is fine -- not as large or as comprehensive as other stores (like Eastman Party Store in Midland) -- a decent selection of products. I was also happy to see local meat -- so hard to find in stores! -- in the frozen foods section: organic beef, pork, chicken, even venison and bison. I was a bit disappointed, though, with the total amount of made-in-Michigan products, which the store has touted in its advertising; I was expecting more Michigan cheeses, more local produce, more jarred/bottled products, etc. (I'll add a disclaimer that this was something of a drive-by visit, so maybe I just wasn't paying enough attention.) The deli section of the store is new; fairly modest to my quick walk-by appraisal; there is outside seating, though, so it's possible to grab a quick lunch here and enjoy it on premises during the warmer months. This can be a spendy little store, unsurprisingly; so shop wisely and well. Nonetheless, stopping here was an enjoyable experience, and I'll be back for selected items. read more
