Another great breakfast at willow wood this morning! Service was friendly as always. I tried a new to me item, the baked eggs with spinach. It was really yummy but if you order it make sure than you're a tomato lover.

We had the most pleasant lunch experience here. They have a beautiful covered patio area in the back and they had our table ready when we arrived on this Wed afternoon. They take reservations for parties of 6 or more and Zac was kind enough to reserve a table for us when I called the day before. It was raining outside but the fully covered patio was comfortable and dry. I prefer the patio as the inside can get warm, especially if the sun is coming through the windows. When I've been here in the past, I normally order their open-faced egg salad sandwich or chicken sandwich (both very good), but today my friends were going on and on about the polenta so I decided to give it a try. We ordered: - Hot muffaletta - salame, hot coppa, mortadella, ham & provolone with a small side of greens - Goat cheese & pesto polenta - roasted red onions, roma tomato with garlic bread - Market plate - sautéed spinach, coppa, creamy polenta, roasted tomato, hard- boiled egg and toast - Roasted vegetable ragout polenta with spicy chicken sausage - red sauce, pesto, parmesan with garlic bread - Meatloaf sandwich - special of the day My friends were not kidding. That polenta is amazing! I thought the red sauce and chicken sausage complemented the polenta very nicely. It was a touch salty for me but nevertheless, it was thoroughly enjoyed. One of the ladies mentioned that the Market plate is her favorite so she regularly orders it. The gentleman who ordered the meatloaf sandwich is normally a light eater but he ate his entire sandwich and side coleslaw! He loved every bite and I loved watching him enjoy his meal. Mike was our server and he was sweet enough to take a couple group photos of us. He came around to refill our waters and check on us to see how we were doing. He had a busy day as the patio eventually looked pretty full as it got closer to 12:45. Great company, incredible food, excellent service. Thank you for a memorable dining experience for us all.

I've been here several times and would have reviewed it more but the cell service is spotty at best and I couldn't start one or check in at the restaurant! That said, I love the vibe here, so Graton, so laid back, so insanely delicious and hearty portions! Even when there's tons of people its not super-deafening loud. They have really nice heaters in the outside-ish area in back, and that's my fave. Roomy and comfy. I think dogs might be cool there, too. Plenty of parking and wonderful service make this the go-to breakfast/lunch place to keep on the short list!

Willow Wood Market Cafe, what a GEM! I came across this place on my Yelp feed and I just had to try it! Perfect weekend to go for my mom's birthday. As soon as we walked in, I was so impressed with the decor and how everything looked. It felt as though you were eating at someone's house. The vintage feel to it is just great! The food and service were amazing!!!! The staff were super friendly and welcoming!! I have definitely made this our go to spot, and I can't wait to try their dinner menu!

This is a really cute spot!! Stopped here for brunch on our road trip on a Saturday morning. A little busy but we were seated fast. I ordered a simple two eggs platter and my friend - grits. We got food relatively fast and enjoyed the ambiance. My favorite is actually the patio (which we didn't sit because we didn't bring jackets) but definitely a cute spot for sure!

My first time here. I ordered the ham and baked eggs with cheese. It came with sprouted sourdough, and a cup of fruit with some lovely jam on the side. While it was definitely tasty I thought it was a bit insubstantial. I was still a little hungry, so we split a gingerbread, which was phenomenal. The service was excellent, and the people were very nice. I'm not sure I would come back. $30 out the door for breakfast is a little steep given the amount of food that we got.

This Mediterranean Plate was tasty- however I suggest adding more than 1 pita as we had much leftover hummus.

I was surprised I have not left a review for this café before. I've been coming here for many years and I have never been disappointed with the food. One of my favorites is their creamy polenta and I try to get it each time. Everything there tastes super fresh. I also like the various interesting spaces where one can enjoy their meal. I've had Madison as our server the last two times I visited here and she is a hard worker with a friendly attitude. The prices are a tad high I think- I usually share a meal with a friend as I did this time. Also, my chai latte was delicious.

Oh my, what a wonderful establishment. I need to check the history of the building. It looks like a late 1800's, early 1900's general store., even on the inside. It's bright & airy. The staff is very nice and attentive. The food was excellent, as well. I had one of the daily specials, a Spanish grilled cheese sandwich. It was huge, with lots of melty cheese, jambon (ham), and tomato. I didn't realize that it came with a salad and ended up ordering the pear, goat cheese & walnut salad. Glad I did, though. It was excellent. This place is definitely going in my rotation.

I've been wanting to come here for ever and I had high hopes. Walked in to an almost empty restaurant on a late afternoon. It was cute inside, country modern. Initially there were 3 waitstaff but after we were seated, only 2 remained. It took a while for our server to come. Seconds after we finally ordered, we realized she didn't ask our drink order. We waited again. She was too busy talking to the other waitstaff and it took a little bit to get her attention. The dense meatballs were massive and the sauce was decent and the bread was a tad too hard. I ordered the french dip and the meat was gray and lacked flavor. The waitstaff forgot my au jus sauce and as I waited and waited, I realized again that she had forgotten. I thought the sauce would make a difference but it was way too salty for me. Oh, I forgot to mention the coleslaw that smelled and tasted rancid. My boyfriend ordered the chicken pot pie and he said the crust was nice but the filling lacked flavor. He also found a few flour lumps. I'm sure the breakfast is good here and I was looking forward to coming back and eating in the handsome patio area but I'm so turned off that I doubt I would come back.

Always a pleasure to eat here. So many delicious menu choices. Stopped by around 1:30 on a Thursday and the place was jumping. We sat outside on the relaxing patio and as usual the server was friendly and efficient. Our salads came out quickly. Hummus and eggplant capa nota and the smoked trout salad. The trout was so fresh, moist and flavorful. Their coffee is great and the staff makes you feel that they appreciate your business.

Came here for a late lunch at 3 and it is much less crowded during their brunch time. food is fresh and delicious. I had the turkey and swiss. I wasn't even hungry but I still finished the side potato salad and half of the sandwich, it was that good. the place is clean and has cozy decorations, a great place to meet up with friends!

Husband and I have long adored Underwood Bar & Bistro, which is Willowood's sister restaurant across the street. We've heard a lot of good things said about Willowood's ham and Brie sandwich so we decided to head out there. Willowood's vibe is casual and fun, and had more seating than I would have thought. We were greeted warmly and were given a table right away. One thing I noticed rather quickly was how very hot it was inside. They sat us near a very sunny window where my poor husband cooked for the duration of our meal. A few fans or a little bit more A/C would have made for a nicer experience. My husband ordered the ham and Brie sandwich (black forest ham, Brie, pears, mustard, balsamic vinaigrette) and I chose the turkey and Swiss (turkey, Swiss, marinated red onions, apples, mustard, lemon vinaigrette). My husband also ordered an ice tea ($5) and was dismayed when he watched our server pour it into a glass from a can. He took one taste and promptly sent it back, it had the strangest flavor. Certainly not your standard black iced tea. Along with our sandwiches, we were offered a side of either potato salad, coleslaw, or mixed greens. We both went with the potato salad. Our plates were brought out in a timely manner and we were eager to dig in. The bread on the sandwiches ended up being the best part, it was fresh and toasted nicely. It resembled sourdough but was more like a rustic, crusty, white bread. The rest of the sandwich, for both of us, left us pretty underwhelmed. The amount of meat on each was pretty skimpy and we both agreed that our sandwiches were lacking something- an aioli or some kind of item to give it more oomf. It wasn't until we were both done eating that we realized; neither of our sandwiches had their respective vinaigrettes! What a bummer, I do wonder if we would have enjoyed them more had they been made the way they were supposed to. I'd be willing to go back and give them another try. The potato salad was good. Overall it was an alright experience. Service and atmosphere was nice, temperature of the place was far too warm, and our sandwiches were incomplete. Each sandwich was $19.50 and while it did include a small bit of potato salad, it felt pricey considering what we were served. Perhaps next visit will prove to be a better one.

Enjoying another business nearby, we asked the owners where they recommended we eat. Willow Wood was their suggestion and it was only a few doors down. We came an hour before closing and left full, but not blown away. Upon entrance, I felt like I was in another place. The interior is like a cozy restaurant found in the countryside. There is also an outdoor patio. We came when it was hot out, so circulation inside wasn't the best. Service was average at best--not too friendly or helpful just felt like they were all in their worlds. Our food came out fast which was appreciated. They offer brunch and lunch, Mom had the Black Forest Ham and Brie and Pop got the Eggs Benedict. I had the Farmer's Scrambled Eggs with no cheese. My scramble was lacking in flavor and seasoning. Home fries were on the menu but I received none. My Mom enjoyed her sandwich but my Pop said his Eggs Benedict was rough to cut into and just not too good. Quite disappointed in the taste but I'm glad we all had full bellies after. We aren't familiar with Graton but found Willow Wood Market Cafe to be just okay. Parking is found all around the neighborhood. Prices are decent but quality depends on what you order
