The Grove is located inside Redwood Credit Union HQ. Orders are placed at computer kiosks inside the cafe. Food is very reasonably priced and made to order by the cooks. Mom & I split a cheeseburger, which was tasty and well-executed. Servers were friendly and helpful. The only thing I cannot recommend is the drip coffee--it was truly awful (weak and probably Robusta aka Folgers). As a former Peet's Coffee employee, good coffee is a must. No espresso drinks on menu. read more

I was delightfully surprised. Their food is good, portion sizes for me are just right (not too small but not too big) and they have regular specials but also have permanent items that are always available. It's not frilly or fussy which I really like and the staff is very professional and kind (looking at you Jose and Cristina!). They have online ordering for a lot of items but do plan ahead because they close at 2pm. Also cashless. read more

What a great find! As someone other than a RCU employee, this was a great oasis in the food market. Located inside the RCU headquarters on Cleveland Ave, you will find a quiet cafe that serves up breakfast and lunch. You order at a kiosk and wait for your order. Simple...but the food is delicious! Had their Shrimp Fajita salad, blt with homemade chips and a clam chowder. The shrimp salad was cooked well with a concoction of sautéed onions and peppers...awesome. The blt hit the spot and clam chowder good, especially after a bit more pepper. Will definitely come again if in the area and added benefit is there's lots of parking and all handicap accessible. read more

This is a hidden gem, literally, as it is "hidden" inside the Empire Credit Union building. I bought a breakfast burrito with bacon this morning at 10:00 am and it was made fresh within less than 5 minutes. The burrito was not as big as some I've had, but for $7.00 it was an incredibly good deal! With the addition of salsa from the small container provided, it was absolutely delicious. read more

Everything here is fresh and delicious! Never had a bad meal or bad service! Real value for your buck! We purchased their Christmas dinner last year and the Thanksgiving Dinner this year and it was amazing! Way more food than we could possibly eat. Inside Redwood Credit Union, this feels like you're able to dine inside a subsidized employee cafeteria. The food is fresh and very tasty and the prices are unbeatable. Quick and convenient ordering via a kiosk (or person if you prefer!) and my 5 yo son loves the chicken teriyaki - has a great amount of veggies on it. Yay for this great place! You can also buy to go dinners. I haven't tried that yet but I've heard they are very good and great value also. read more

My first visit here- came with a few friends to check out this somewhat new cafe. The fact that it is located inside of a business building reminds me a bit of when Chloe's was in the Sutter Health offices. The food did not compare to Chloe's yet is was good. I had a delicious, healthy and fresh quinoa salad. My one disappointment is that there were no sandwiches that are vegetarian- there was only a salad and veggie chili on the menu. I like the concept of ordering & paying via a computer & paying when you first walk in- makes for a quicker process when limited to a work lunch hour. For an intimate and pampered lunch, this is not the spot. I appreciated the this cafe was quite clean. The prices are also very reasonable. I plan to return when I'm on a lunch hour from work. I'm dropping a star from 5 to 4. On Friday, I went to Grove Cafe to try their breakfast fritter. It was 8:30 am. There was a lady standing outside "guarding" the door to make sure only employees who worked at the Redwood Credit Union building were let in. FYI, there are other businesses located inside as well. I said I was here to eat breakfast at the Grove Cafe. She said the restaurant for for employees that work here. Then I showed her a picture I took of the "A" frame sign at the door of the restaurant that stated "Now open to the public". Breakfast: Monday through Friday 8:30 - 10:00. Lunch: 11:00 - 2:00 I showed her the picture and she said I couldn't go in until 9:00 am when the building is open to the public. She said she would speak with the restaurant about the sign. She wasn't very nice during our conversation. I realize she doesn't work for Grove Cafe, but still.... So I left and went somewhere else for breakfast. I will return for lunch again at a future date. read more

It's basically an upscale cafeteria with an open kitchen, great daily menu choices, and wonderfully fresh, tasty ingredients combined, prepared, and presented quickly and deliciously. (Whatever the "world" bowl of the day is, try it!) Touch-screen ordering terminals and big screens that show when your numbered order is ready for you to pick up. A comfortable space for eating and talking, too. Looking forward eagerly to my next visit! read more

I had fried chicken cutlet, sweet potato, and coleslaw with a really good honey mustard sauce. They also had quick grab and go pastries, chips, yogurt. The breakfast options also seemed wonderful!
