Our favorite place to eat! Excellent sandwiches while we are out and about on the weekend. After a long day of work - nice to sit and enjoy a good dinner. I have not been into Willowbrook as I always associated it with the previous occupants but one day we needed a place to go for lunch and thought we would give it a try. What a great surprise! The decor was beautiful and made me feel I was in a "W" town rather than Mendon. Our waitress was very sweet, with service quick and accurate. My son ordered the steak tips and I was glad he only ate a few of them as there were plenty for me to have for dinner that night. They were tender and juicy...yum. I had the chicken marsala and it was full of flavor with lots of mushrooms - just the way I liked it. I don't recall what my husband ordered, but I do know that we left saying we will most certainly be back again soon as there are not many options for a good reasonably priced meal in the Uxbridge/Mendon area. read more

Great restaurant. Ate there on Friday eve before 6p, Had Fish & Chips it was the early bird special. Which included a large piece of fish I had it with sweet fries and my husband had it with french fries. Both were delicious came with a salad also. This also came with a dessert. Service was quick and the meal flowed without a bump. Our waitress Jamie was excellent. Great price, great service beautiful decor. Really enjoyed everything! read more

We live locally and have eaten here a number of times for both breakfast and dinner. The food is always good and we have never had an issue with the service. The building is new and is kept very clean. The prices are very reasonable. The main dining room is nice with tables spread out, not too close to one another. We love the booths! Also, don't forget the ice cream. They offer lots of flavors as they have an ice cream window if you just want some dessert. I definitely recommend Willowbrook! read more

First time there. The waitress was great, the salad and clam chowder were yummy. But that is where it ended. I had chicken parm, the bowl was full of water, chicken was soggy and tasted funny. My husband ordered the pot roast. He liked it but it looked like a kid's plate order. No rolls like we were supposed to get either though other tables got them. read more

My family and I went here for Mother's Day Brunch. We went last year and it was good enough to come back this year. It was expensive. We were in and out in an hour. Fastest $237.00 that I have ever spent in a resturaunt. 7 adults and 4 children. We weren't even able to eat a lot because it was cold and low quality. Bacon tasted like it came from a can, selection of food was deplorable for the price. I could have microwaved all that food for a lesser price. Not like last year. It was very rushed. My grandfather has cancer and the waitress leaned across at the table at him and kept repeating "You can go up to the brunch table anytime you want." We did not feel welcomed. Mcdonalds would have been more friendly, relaxed and it definitely would have tasted better than cold food. read more

I recently hosted a wedding shower at Willowbrook in "the little town of Mendon" and I was very impressed with not only the service but also the meal. In the weeks leading up to the event I was given all the neccessary information to make everything go smoothly, the restaurant offers the option of multiple rooms to choose from as well as a variety of food choices. I went with the sandwich and salad buffet to keep things simple and the guests were very happy with the chicken and tuna sald wraps but the favorite was the turkey "thanksgiving style" wrap! Everyone seemed to rave about the room, it had a lot of character, and the convenience of the bar in the ajoining dining area was a hit. We took our grandchildren there for dinner tonight. It was fabulous. The food, the service, everything was GREAT. I have to admit I am hard to please, and I cannot think of a bad thing to say. can't wait to go back. I don't like to be critical of a restaurant because a lot of people judge whether they will go there based upon the reviews. I gave the place three chances. The last time I ordered the "turkey dinner". I asked the waitress if it was "real", i.e., from an actual turkey they had roasted and not cold cuts. She assured me that it was. Wrong. It was sliced deli meet, sliced a little thicker but nevertheless, not roasted. The sides tasted like they came out of a can. I won't even take the time to write about my other two experiences, so I'll leave it at that. read more

My Sister is a "regular" and she has never had a bad meal UNTIL TODAY.This was our second visit in three years.We went for Lunch,with relatives in from Florida,and we we all disappointed.The Waitress was rude and got our drink orders wrong.My Sisters combo plate,of "whole Belly Fried Clams" and scollops was a big mistake.Clams were "tiny bellies" and the scollops were non-existant..Something on her plate looked and tasted like "hush Puppies" but were just fried dough.My "whole belly " clam plate featured a "pile" pf bits and pieces of something fried,but the "bellies" were so small,you couldn't taste clam.My Wife's Reubin sandwich was so thin,you could barely see the meat or the sourkraut..Our relatives from Florida has "scollops" over pasta.They swear that the "scollop" were made of Skate,and when they mentioned it to the waitress,she went into the kitchen and came back with a package of FROZEN scollops from Canada,and claimed that they were not Skate.My relatives are "Fishermen" and know the difference.The entire meal was worth forgetting,and I don't believe that we will ever go back there again. read more

What?! They deserve 6 stars! My family and I are new to town and tried this restaurant on a whim. It will be our regular weekend tradition- and we've never been regulars anywhere. A wonderful restaurant! Friendly waitstaff, great service, and delicious food! Where do I begin...began with a pumpkin ale with a seasonal sugar rim- oh my! Then yummy rolls and a salad that was cold crisp and delicious. My son thoroughly enjoyed some yummy butternut squash and chicken fingers- he is a picky eater- and we've never seen him eat soo much! My husband and I got the specials. I had shrimp and scallops and he had steak tips. Everything was prepared perfectly and we enjoyed every bite!! Seafood was plump tender and juicy and the pasta was melt in your mouth good. But wait...we got their #1 sundae to go. I don't know how they do it! It was the best combination of flavors!! Every bite was to die for- and for someone who will NOT share dessert- they're was more than enough for me, and my husband ;-) Thank you Willow Brook for a great family dining experience! read more

I went for lunch,on Saturday,with my Wife,my Sister,My Cousin and her husband.(up from Florida).We all found this restaurant ,very "charming".The decor was warm and friendly,The service was OUTSTANDING,and the food was EXCELLENT !!!!.They have a very diverse menu.My Wife got a Salad with shrimp,strawberries and Mango.She loved it !!.My Sister,My Cousin and her husband had a Clam and Shrimp Combo platter(big whole belly clams)with sweet potato fries), and all they did was rave about it.I had a Clam dinner( BIG whole belly clams) with onion strings.It was one of the best that I have ever had.The prices were reasonable,for the quality and quantity of food.Willowbrook doesn't use any salt on the food they serve,so you can add salt or not add salt.They have a very extensive Wine,Cocktail and "exotic drinks" menu.They also have fresh baked goods and 33 flavors of Ice Cream for "take out".My Wife and I are planning to go back very soon,with my Sister,to try other dishes on the menu.If you want to be treated properly,have your every request taken care of with a smile and have a comfortable wonderful meal,give Willowbrook a try. read more

So I read all these reviews and Im amazed at what they say. About a week ago my best friend and I just happened to be in the area shopping and we were somewhat hungry. We were headed back towards woonsocket when she noticed this resturaunt with some amazing plants outside. We looked at eachother and thought why not check it out. It was late afternoon/ early evening and we went in to explore. I was immediatly drawn to the "toffeetini" and she favored the strawberry daquari we almost immediatley got our drinks and started poring thru the menu.The server offered us hot rolls and butter which were very yummy. The inside decor was very nice and clear and there was soft jazz playing. She decided on the pilgrim plate which was basicly thanksgiving dinner and i had the chicken kiev. The food was amazing and seasoned just right and we each got 2 meals out of portions. I was very lucky to be raised by an amazing cook and "foodie" so I am quite picky but this resturaunt was outstanding.We left thanking the waitress and that we would be back soon. I had no idea we would be back a week later my best friend craving the pilgrim dinner. We arrived literaly 8 minutes before the kitchen was shedueled to close and they actually opened it back up just for us. The service is amazing, the food outstanding and the staff actually goes out of their way to make sure you are content with a full tummy. How can you possibly give them anything less than five stars? Let me just say that this was the first time my family had been to this restaurant. My family consists of my wife, myself and my two sons (4 and 1). Now maybe I'm mistaken but I thought this was a "Family" owned and operated business. So here is my problem. I have kids sometimes they're noisy. We went to dinner tonight early around 4 as to not disturb the "dinner" crowd. People were noticeably disturbed by the random outbursts by my one yr old. After rushing through a mediocre dinner because we felt uncomfortable I went to the car to remove the 1 yr old from the restaurant. While I was away my wife took the 4 yr old to the restroom and while exiting the restroom my wife heard a waitress telling another couple sitting for dinner "Now you can enjoy your dinner because the screaming kids are gone". So luckily this was my wife and not myself cause I probably would have caused more of a scene than my average noise level kids did. So there it is. Suck food, suck attitude. Never again! read more
