Ok, this seems like the place folks in Ontario go for days or the entire summer. Positives first, friendly staff, plenty of activities for children, and quiet at night. Close to Amherstburg for shopping and dining. There is a camp store with snacks and basics as well as a small grill and ice cream shop which had good and reasonably priced food. Downside, our cabin was not quite clean, the upper bunk still had the last guests belongings and the air conditioning unit was dirty -we had to give it a good clean. The bathrooms was clean in our cabin. The pool does not have a continuous chlorine system, they close it twice a day to add chemicals and the water smells like sulfa. This is dicey! We did not use the public bathhouses so we cannot comment on them. This is a large RV parks with over 300 slots and various types of cabins to rent. read more

They gave us the wrong cabin site but didn't figure that out until halfway through our second day there. They came and made us move everything to a different site and did not offer a discount, refund or upgrade. They didn't even offer to get someone to help us move all of our food and camp equipment. The person who came to evict us did not even show empathy or ownership for the issue. We had to pack our site up twice in one stay and it really destroyed our moods, destroyed our whole feeling with this place. Never have we been treated like this. Even a hotel would offer an upgraded room or a discounted stay, these people did nothing but shrug their shoulders and tell us we had an hour to get out. Will not be going here again and everyone in my circle knows about this horrible service and will not be going there either. read more
