My boyfriend and I recently moved in the area and Willys has been God send. We started out renting Uhaul from him to help our move to the area. But since we found this spectacular biking area Hansen Dam we bike the 15:mile wilderness almost everday. This causes damage to tires, tubes, breaks,etc. Almost every time. Willys is always on point. He is the Dr Frankenstein of bikes. We come in on a flat and bike away in minutes to go enjoy our day. Prices? beyond reasonable! OMG!:HE CHARGES HALF compared to the many many many other bikes shopes I've been to. He takes pride in what he does he goes above and beyond with every repair but charges measly sum for all that he does. This is my first ever review but if anyone ever deserved an awesome review Willy's does. I recommend him to my neighbors family and friends. Really really honest. I bought a specialized p2 so it need it a tune up so i told him to replace my brake pads and front wheel cuz I thought it wasn't straight. Long story short he calls me next day and tells me that my bike is ready so i got there thinking i was gonna paid way more then 100 so I asked how much do owe u and he said 45 he give me a 5 dlls discount he told me that brake pads were good no need to replace and rims was good too. Had a mechanical on a ride near his shop - the nipple on my spoke came loose and fell off. He was busy with repairs but he let me use his tools to fix the wheel and continue my ride. My first visit to Willys bike shop was about 2 yrs ago, when i was looking for hooks to suspend our MBs on garage wall (i needed 4 ea). They had these particular hooks in stock, but without hesitation, Willy instead recommended that i go to Home Depot just down the street as it would be a just little bit cheaper. That is what i did, but i was particularly impressed that he would have suggested that. Rather than making a sale, he suggested a better option for me at that time. jump ahead 2 years to today...When my wifes Schwinn F18 electric scooter's (used at campsites) front wheel started really acting up, we brought the wheel to Willy to check it out. It seemed as though the bearings had lost their integrity and i was hoping that Willy had these specific bearings in stock. Right away, Willy opened up the axle set and determined bearings were shot, but moreover, the axle too had been damaged. the damaged bearings actually grinded down the quick release axle, requiring replacement as well, but for just $20, Willy replaced the quick release axle and bearings so that it worked just like new. Let me tell you, if you want great personalized service without someone trying to gouge you, this bike shop is the place to go. They are extremely friendly, provides rapid turnaround, theyre up front, and offer service that is in line with local bike shops when I was a kid. in addition, the store has many accessories, tires, parts and components. If it is not in stock, it can be ordered. These guys are reliable and trustworthy and we will definitely return to this shop when needed. Highly recommend. read more

We brought our daughters bike here for the first time today. Loved the place. Family atmosphere, good quality work performed at a reasonable price. They replaced both front and back breaks, including wires, and the handle grips. They pumped the tires and oiled the chain, had it in perfect working condition by the time we returned. This place is great. It's small and indie and reminds me of Blue City Bikes in Chicago. One wall is full of parts and accessories for bikes, and the other wall is full of bikes... and the desk and guys and repair stuff is at the opposite end from the entrance. The guys are friendly, and the prices are pretty cheap- vertainly much cheaper than big sportsgear stores! Also it's nicely close to where I live. :) read more
