I am obviously cursed. I got into some pointless conversation with my mother yesterday about how my current vehicle (of the past two years) has never had a flat tire. Several hours later, this mysteriously evil car now has a flat tire. Jinxes are definitely the real deal. For whatever girl like reason, I don't have a jack, and didn't know how to put on a spare... I know, I know, for shame. I found Willy's just across the way, and the guy who helped me (whose name I shamefully can't remember right now) was amazing, and came right over to where I was parked, very quickly switched my popped tire for a new one, and didn't even make fun of me. I can not say more amazing things about this business. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Usually I wouldn't take the time to review a car repair place because even if the place had excellent service, paying for the cost of the repair puts a damper on the woohoo experience. This place is excellent for both service and cost. My husband waited 15 minutes because there was 1 person ahead of him. When it was his turn, he was in and out within 20 minutes. Our $300 tire replacement (quoted by my dealer) costs us $20. That never happens in car repair anymore and I will highly recommend this place to all my family and friends. read more

He switched my stock rims and tires for the new 19" I got for my 2010 BMW 328i, took the tires off from both sets to uninstall the tire pressure sensor from the stock wheels and install it on the new ones, know exactly what he's doing and talking about. My tire pressure light was on, so I pulled up to Willy's to get it checked, just in case there were any nails and such. Willy was really kind and checked and filled my tires back up for free - I have paid $10 for that at Tire Grading down the road. These guys are great. They are fast and don't charge a whole lot. The most recent time I went to see if they could straighten out my rim. It had a very small ding in it. I went in for a new tire on my lunch break. I was in and out within 10 minutes and Willy is the nicest guy you will ever meet. He's friendly fast and affordable. He took care of everything. I've been going to Willy's for nearly 9 years now (starting at their original location), and I won't go anywhere else. I've had countless tires patched, leaky valve stems fixed and destroyed tires replaced with quality used ones (and I have never had a problem with any of them). This morning was the first time I had a flat in 4 years. Stopped by Willy's and they jacked my car up, removed the wheel, removed the nail, patched the tire and had it back on in around 10 minutes. All that for $12. Oh, and they remembered me even though I hadn't been there in 4 years. Bottom line: Great customer service, great prices and great work. read more

Not sure about location. Called four times with no answer, including inperson around 5:10pm on January 12, 2016. When I had a chance to ask about tires the two people I seen inside did not seem to speak English, no assistance with 2 hours left before closing. I can not speak more highly of this man's ability and work. I brought in a tire with an Alloy rim that had a slow leak. Alloy rims get corrosion and can develop slow leaks and need to be cleaned from time to time. I thought this was the case. It was not. It had a nail in it. He quickly found it, and patched it . I watched him work. He did the best patch job I've ever seen. He really knows his craft. He also cleaned the rim. The job he did was perfect. The only drawback is that you have to pull your car in the alley where his work bay is. He did it while I waited and charged me LESS THAN 1/2 of what the downtown shops charge. This was the best experience I've ever had with an automotive shop! I was driving from Chicago to New Orleans and needed a spare tire. Willie himself took care of me and the entire process only took about 20 minutes. He was VERY honest and, when I asked if the tire was used or new, he informed me where the cheapest place was to get a new tire. I thought that was extremely important because he even referred another shop to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. I wanted a cheap, full sized spare and that's exactly what I got. He allowed me to watch the entire process and ensured that the new tire had no leaks. I then informed him that my "low tire pressure" light was on but I couldn't tell which tire was low and he then filled up all of my tires, free of charge. He was very personal and easy to talk to. He's a really nice, kind hearted guy and you can tell in every aspect of his business. I haven't had to use the spare tire so I can't comment on the quality but, as a business, this place is TOP NOTCH. Highly recommended. read more

Here's my story: Discovered that I had a large screw in my tire yesterday and after work I drove to my normal tire place only to find that they closed shop and left to Mexico. So I drove to some place on 18th off Western, the man took off my tire and ended up finding 2 more nails!! Then he said it was $15 per nail!!! I looked at him said "no thank you" and went on my way. On my way but had no idea where! So I did a yelp search and found Willy's!!! What a blessing! I got there had my tire looked at and found that none of the holes went through the tire and so there was no charge. I thought I had heard wrong but the no charge was made very clear by the man who was there! I couldnt help but to want to give him my $15 and he refused to take it but did settle for a tip. I went from almost paying $45 to just giving a tip. Willy's tire shop got mad props from me and I went home and told my neighbor that this is the place to go. God bless them and this establishment...I will make sure that EVERYONE come to Willy! read more
