The kids had cookies and cream, and the flavor was delicious. They have fruit picking, a petting zoo, and an area to sit and enjoy the scenery. The lady who greeted us was very friendly and sweet. We felt very welcomed while we were here. It's definitely a place to come and feel like you're not in the suburbs and just get away for a little while. What made the situation even more disappointing was the staff's response. They were completely unhelpful and showed little concern after seeing that my elderly family member almost fell. A little empathy or concern would have gone a long way, but instead it felt like they simply didn't care. The prices were also higher than what I felt the products were worth. Nothing really stood out or impressed me enough to justify the cost. Everything was just standard and fairly ordinary, with nothing unique or memorable about the selection. Overall, between the unsafe slippery floors, the lack of concern from the staff, and the overpriced, average products, I left feeling disappointed. I hope improvements are made to both customer service and safety before I consider returning.

Coming here, I found more than just my favorite ice cream. Erik, the owner, is incredibly kind, and you can really feel the passion behind this place. I genuinely hope Odd Ball reaches great levels of success and abundance because they deserve it. One of the coolest things is how this spot takes you back--if you grew up in the 90s, it's such a nostalgic experience. We stumbled on it totally by accident, and I'm so very glad we did! The Oak Glen Creamery specializes in ice cream and shakes. Well, maybe "specializes" isn't quite the right term - ice cream and shakes is literally ALL that they do. But hey, when your product is as exceptional as theirs, why do anything else? We tried samples of their Brown Sugar Banana and Carmel Toffee Crunch ice cream offerings, and both were truly luscious. However, we knew we had to go for one of their signature "pie shakes." For the uneducated, an Oak Glen Creamery "pie shake" is a truly amazing concoction. It comes in two flavors: apple and pumpkin. We chose the pumpkin and watched as the magic unfolded in front of us... First into the mixer went several scoops of vanilla ice cream, followed by some half and half. Then came several large chunks of pumpkin pie. (Yes, actual pumpkin pie including the crust!) This was mixed at low speed, blending the flavors perfectly but leaving large pieces of the crust intact The mixture was then poured into a cup and topped with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spice. YUM! If you're planning a trip up to Oak Glen to do some apple picking, make sure to put the Oak Glen Creamery on your "must see" list!
