I scheduled the second half of a repair [ball bearing] to my Maytag ; it had been delayed by 9 weeks by my cancer diagnosis and chemo. I was assured in a text that my written [I have a copy] estimate was saved in their computer system. The next day the tech arrived, took the back off my washer, took pictures with his cell phone, told me "it needed a ball bearing and then everything would work fine," and left. He was in my apartment no more than 20 minutes. He did absolutely nothing to complete the repair. I called W-M and was transferred to Alex. Alex said he "would look at the pictures" and try and decide if W-M could do the repair for the amount quoted in my written estimate. Seriously? You are going to try and decide if you can be as good as your word? Alex said he would call me back. He didn't. I have open wounds from chemo and no way to keep my clothes clean. read more

I'm seriously considering giving Wilson & Myers contact information to friends as a unique gift. I chose to try them because they communicated promptly by phone and text, and had a diagnostic fee so low that I didn't feel obligated to use their service if my washer was toast. The actual repair could not be finished in one visit, but they saved me $75 by ordering the replacement part off Amazon instead of using the $150 whirlpool part, didn't charge for driving out the second time to install that part, and fixed a second problem for the price I expected for one. These guys are truly one of the best companies I have ever worked with. They communicate well and show up when they say they will. My repair took multiple trips due to parts and they spent hours working on my machine. They replaced the main board wiring, all the sensors and unfortunately it did not solve the issue but boy did they try. I just think I had a very defective unit since they just don't build them the same anymore. These guys offered a full refund which most places will not do.
