My daughter's LG refrigerator started making a terrible grinding noise. After calling a different company, she was told by phone that it was a known warranty issue and to call LG for service. She asked me to do that for her since she was working and taking care of 2 sick kids. LG referred me to Lee's Appliance Repair, and we couldn't be more grateful. They are so responsive and helpful. Erin, who answers the phone and makes appointments, was a pleasure to work with. She ordered the part and set us up. When the technician looked at the fridge he quickly realized it was a different issue. They worked with LG, got the part and rescheduled quickly. Alex came out with the new part, wore a mask and shoe covers, and had the fridge fixed in no time He was friendly and efficient and made sure the area was cleaned up before he left. They call and send texts confirming everything so we never had to guess on timing. They fix all appliances - not just refrigerators, and I will definitely call them again. Needed my dryer fixed. It was screeching They said that they charge $119 diagnostic fee that would go towards the cost of the repair --fine I understand labor isn't free, but now I feel like they lock you into paying a way overpriced labor fee because you're not going to back out after you're already committed to $119. Technician was on time for appointment. He said just based on the noise it was the rollers. He already had a kit with him. It took him 30 minutes to fix- it cost me $320 - just looked up the roller repair kit on Amazon- it's $25. I just paid $300 for 30 minutes of labor. I got ripped off. read more

$334 for a plastic handle replacement. I was quoted 119 service call cost, and when I said wow seriously, I was told, "Don't worry, it is applied to the work. This company, as the tech put it, has hundreds of calls for this issue. He even showed up with the handle knowing the issue. This company was fully aware I am overpaying for a piece of junk, but no warning, just take my money. This is the 4th time they have fixed this issue on this same oven. Good customer service would have warned me instead greed. They have lost my future business. Frigidaire oven also needs to stop selling a defective model oven. An oven with a plastic handle held by 2 metal screws holding a lot of pressure. I have been screwed over by both conpanies. read more

So a thing happened. Someone in our house, who shall not be named, left the fridge cracked open for almost 24 hours on one of our fabu Colorado high 90 degree days. Once noticed, it was shut. I was informed of all this when I returned from being gone for a couple days. I looked up online for some solutions and tried some things, but I wanted an expert to come take a look and see if anything had been fried. Lee's was the place to call! Drew came out and took a look. He diagnosed and got us on the right path. We had a broken door for our ice dispenser as well and he ordered the part and will be returning to install that next week. $750 for an hour of labor! That's what I was charged. They were polite, provided good service and got the job done the first time but they quoted me $750 for labor. I expected it would take 2-3 hours with that quote. Nope. He came and left in an hour. They do have to get LG to reimburse them for the condensor since it was under warranty so throw in another 0.5 hours for administrative work. If you go with these guys ask for an itemized breakdown of their estimate before you hire them. read more

Horrendous experience with Lee's. Had a simple repair performed; unfreezing a drain at the rear of the freezer at bottom of refrigerator. 30-40 minute routine job for $250, expensive but it was something I would not do myself the first time needed. That afternoon the refrigerator began heating instead of cooling. Contacted Lee's and also spoke with the repair person. Was told to cut power and restart to clear the problem. Did not work. It was Friday and the repair person would not return to investigate and the office told me they are closed on weekends, so no help until early the following week. This was back in the heat of summer when temps were 95 - 100 degrees. We ended up moving as much of the food as possible to coolers and to a friends house. Ended up needing to replace the refrigerator. Lee's took no responsibility to help on Friday afternoon, the weekend or early the following week. They did refund our money, but we lost a bunch of food, changed our weekend plans (skipped a memorial service), and needed to buy a new appliance. Definitely do not recommend using this outfit. They abandoned us after causing a problem. read more

Had an induction cooktop stopped working. Called Lee's for a service call. Diagnosed issue as a bad control panel, and the part is no longer available. Ordered a new $2800. Cook top, installed that and it also did not work. I measured the voltage that the cooktop was receiving and it was 120 volts, not the 240 volts required. Opened the junction box in the same cabinet and noticed that one of the wire nuts was loose. Retighted it and problem solved. I would think that a professional would have checked this, but they did not. $159,00 for a 15 minute service call, and $2800.00 for a new cooktop which was not needed, a $3000.00 mistake. When you call them about their mistake, do not expect a response. There hopefully are better choices for repair services available, choose wisely. read more

I am a DIY guy when possible. My refrigerator stopped cooling so I contacted the manufacturer who priced a repair and subcontracted Lee's to perform the work. I spoke to the office people on Monday morning and they scheduled my repair for Tuesday morning. They followed up with a text on Monday. On Tuesday morning Alex called me to confirm he was on his way. He was right on time. He confirmed the compressor problem and advised the repair would take about 1-2 hours because he had the parts based on my conversation with the office. He completed the work timely, was extremely courteous and we haven't had any issues since he performed the work 4 days ago. I rarely write reviews but felt that Lee's Appliance and Alex deserve a 5-star review! read more

This is the second time I have used Lee's Appliance for service. My ice maker stopped working recently and the reset button didn't work. I was so pleased after the last service they did (replacing my compresser that was luckily still under warrenty) that they were the first I called this time. As before, they knew exactly what to do and were prepared. Shane took the time to show me what was going on, as I thought that water was not feeding into the ice maker. Turned out the the ice maker was not able to rotate and release the ice. He was also very courteous in working around a work meeting I had at around the same time. I bought I refrigerate from Home Depot and I only had 48 hours to return it. But I didn't realize it wasn't cooling the refrigerator until it was too late. I had to schedule service through GE. Lees was supposed to come today and they canceled at 5pm on a Friday when I'm out of town the next two weeks. They won't send anyone on a weekend or another person tonight. I wouldn't recommend. I called them and was lucky Lee's could schedule a technician the next day! The technician, Alex, arrived on time. Alex wore a mask and put on shoe covers and his demeanor was very professional. Alex sized up the problem and explained to me the solution and got to work. Alex also gave me some maintenance advise to avoid similar problems in the future . The charge was very reasonable. We have waited for two separate days for the technician from Lee's to service our washing machine! The second day we were given a 5 hour window and he was late! Not to mention he had to come out the first time to diagnose it even though they already knew what was wrong ! The SECOND time he showed up he had the wrong part! My husband asked to speak to the owner and was adamantly refused the opportunity to do so! He was told that he wasn't EVER in the store! Many HOURS and THOUSANDS of dollars later the freezer still DOES NOT WORK and they said they cannot do anything more for us after their word that they would take care of us. I am writing this review because I found this business on Yelp and recommended it to my son for service in the Lakewood area. He said the service was friendly, professional and timely. The technician made the repairs efficiently and charged a reasonable fee to fix his washer. He had a few extra minutes and was able to check his dryer for I believe an additional charge. Overall he said it was a great experience and he was happy to work with this company and would use them again. Further, he had contacted this business in the Fall because his washer was not draining. The technician spoke with him on the phone prior to the visit and recommended a few options to self service the machine while waiting for his appointment. The advice to run a clean cycle turned out to be spot on and cleared out the pipes enough that the unit didn't require work until the spring. I want to thank Lee's Appliances for fixing my Sharp Convection-Microwave oven. I'd bought it to replace another one that I'd used for 25 without a hitch. This one developed problems about 3 months after the 3-yr extended warranty gave out - an extreme disappointment. Lees's picked it up, took it into their shop, brought it back and the turntable refused to work. They tried to fix if in my house but finally decided to take it back to their shop where they finally got the turntable working. Sharp no longer supplies Motherboards for this unit. I thought I was going to have to buy a new one after paying to get this one fixed but the second time Lee's took it back to the shop, they got the turntable working again. Please just steer away from Lee's. We were forced to use them via Best Buy. They came out twice and didn't fix the problem. Then the agent stated that they would put notes in our ticket to have an exchange done via Best Buy which is ALL WE NEEDED to get a replacement as this issue in reoccurring. Lee's has ignored all calls. Ignored all messages. Just to get them to come out the second time I called over 7 times. It has been a MONTH of back and forth for them to simply but in a note saying it is beyond repair....and no one will contact me. The last associate I spoke to only called us to complain about Best Buy not covering the entire transaction due to additional work they did and expected us to pay...So it's safe to say our calls are now being entirely ignored. It's hard to believe they're scheduling so many clients and have such difficulty getting people in because they're SO BUSY when they can't even take a call. read more
