I would give a 0 if I could. I recently went to Wilson Dental in Binghamton because I moved here for college. Firstly, it took forever to even get an appointment here, which I really wanted one since I hadn't been in about 2 years. So I finally get there and they did my x-rays then sat me down in a chair. They didn't clean anything at all and the dentist looked at my teeth for at most a min. Then he said that I had four cavities, which, I haven't had a cavity since I was little so I was a bit surprised. After waiting two months for my cleaning appointment I had to cancel the day of because of a snow storm. They wouldn't let me reschedule for 48 hours because I cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, but it's not like I knew Bing would have a snow storm. So at this point I'm very frustrated. I decided to go to another office because I wasn't about to wait another 2 months for fillings. So the other office was much better, cleaned my teeth, and really took their time. Turns out I had no cavities it was just minor staining on my teeth from drinking too much tea. Place is a joke. read more

After speaking with a lawyer, I am seriously considering suing Wilson Dental. Here is a list of just some of their more conspicuous offenses. Note that, over the past several months, I have spoken with other local dental practices and ALL have stated that they hear nothing but complaints regarding immoral and illegal practices committed by Wilson Dental: 1. They deliberately overbook so that they do not lose money from no-shows. If you make an appointment for 10am, don't expect to be seen until about 11:30am. In the half dozen or so visits I had at Wilson, I have never been seen on time. The average wait is about an hour, and once I was in the waiting room for 1 hour and 45 minutes. And this is WITH an appointment. 2. There seems to be a big turnover rate of dentists and staff. Either that or they have very many people that only come in part-time. You rarely get to see the same dentist twice, which means there is a huge lack of personal attention, since they always have to read your file to have even an inkling of what is going on with you or what work had previously been done. 3. I once had a dentist drill my tooth without even telling me what they were going to do. They made a follow-up appointment, making it seem like a routine follow-up checkup. Then, as soon as I was in the chair, a dentist starting drilling. Of course I couldn't speak during the drilling. So only after it was done did I get a chance to ask what he was doing. He then told me I had a major cavity. That was the FIRST TIME I had ever heard of that cavity. Later, they were unable to produce x-ray proof of that cavity. 4. They repeatedly (like 3 times) drilled that cavity due to their error which caused continual pain in that filling. The repeated drilling is called insulting the tooth, and no dentist would just willy-nilly re-drill a tooth. But Wilson Dental did repeatedly. Why? Because they charged my insurance many hundreds every time. 5. They make a fuss when you tell them you want your records so you can switch dentists. 6. When you question their practices, they immediately go on the defensive and assume you're considering suing them and they say things like, "You'll never be able to prove that we did anything wrong." If you think I'm exaggerating any of this, know that I am, instead, understating much of it just in case it ends up affecting my upcoming suit against them. This practice is just generally awful. They do not care for anyone. They have a dirty, run-down place with linoleum flooring and uncomfortable plastic chairs. The waiting room looks like a bus station in some poor neighborhood. And the staff is in a generally foul mood. Even if you are on Medicaid, there are other much greater options. DON'T go to the dentist practice in Oakdale Mall though. I hear that they are either partnered with Wilson, or have some other affiliation. They are pretty terrible with very sloppy dentists. Go instead to Tier Family Dental. They are always friendly, they see you immediately at the time of your appointment, and the dentists are well-educated and professional. read more

Wilson's wait time has gone from 15-20minutes to over an hour in the past few years. There's never any parking available, and its so tight that I wouldn't use it if there were - door dings. They just saw the last of me after keeping me waiting for over an hour; sitting me in a chair and putting a bib on me to keep me cooling my heels for another 20minutes; and then letting me catch my dentist in another operatory - working on another patient - ON MY TIME!!! OH, HELL NO! I ripped off the bib; stopped by the office and ripped THEM a new one; then I stormed out. They have competiton now in Endicott. I'll probably make up the drive time in reduced aggravation. read more

BAD BAD BAD!!!! Dentist did not communicate with cardiologist concerning my blood thinner!! Waited over an hour and was told they would't pull it because I was still on the blood thinner. The dental office called the night before and told me to hold one dose then told me after waiting the hour that they couldn't tell me to go off it! THEY DID!!! The waiting room was disgusting - very crowded and dirty. The office staff was rude and the whole experience felt like an assembly line process - in and out as quick as possible. Rude dentist was told as soon as he walked into pull tooth that I was not to make any noise as he proceeded to push my tooth into my jaw as he was standing up for 45 minutes I was crying out he told me to be quiet I finally told him that he was suppose to pull the tooth not push it into my jaw once he tried pulling it he got it out in about 3 minutes with very little pain of course he gave me so much novacaine and let it run down my throat that I couldn't swallow or bring any spit up and I thought I was going to choke. After I left I discovered that he pulled the wrong tooth. He also put 3 crowns on that day and I just found out yesterday after they did X-rays because they didn't feel right that the crowns need to be re-done cause they were not done right and are not stable or set correctly. So now they have to remove them and I have to be re-fitted have temporary ones while I wait another 2 weeks for the new crowns to come in. After reading the reviews left by unsatisfied patients, I feel I must tell of my experiences at Wilson Dental. I've been in several times to see a hygienist, usually a different one each time, and have been treated well each time. The only drawback is the wait in the lobby, due to the number of patients who need to see the professional staff -- lots of children as well as adults. The last time I needed to see a dentist, it was because of an infection in my jaw. They got me right in, with only a short wait in the lobby, and took an X-ray. The dentist looked at that and said there was an infection and that I needed to take antibiotics for a week before they could pull the tooth. When I went back, I saw another dentist who was VERY kind and efficient, and who had a great sense of humor. Had to wait over two weeks to have another tooth put into my partial, but it was worth it, as all is well now. I promise that whenever I need dental attention, this is the place I'll go. I went there years ago and I paid cash and they milked me...Then they totally buthered my mouth...4 months for dentures that were a joke...another dentist there redid them but not much better..I should of sued....And the front desk aree ediots think there shit don't stink...any way went to nother doctor and relized that Wilson had lefts roots of teeth they were supposed to pull for the dentures...abscessing all that time...do not go there...I talked to mr Wilson and all he did was stutter...don't know if that was an act or not......DO NOT GO THERR! read more

If I could give them 0 stars it would be to many. I went there today I thought to have a tooth filled. They told me my aptt was just to look and see what I needed , that I would have to scedual another apt to fix to .. So I said to the girl they won't do it today she said No they were busy.I said the girl on the phone told me that they would check it out and fill it at this apt.now the girl at the office said no they dont to it that way. I told her I drove 45 min to get my tooth filled and the girl got really snotty and said wait here ten min later she came back,and said that the dentist wasn't even going to see me at all today because he ran out of time waiting for me even though I was early for my apt , she was running her mouth arguing with me about the aptt . well I'm glad they didnt work on me, because as I was sitting there. Waiting I noticed how disgustingly filthy it is in there. Also they are very unprofessional and snotty! They treat people like like they are benith them. All they care about is seeing how many people the can cram in they don't give a shit if they fix your tooth or not they get paid any ways and then they get paid when they fix it . oh but guess what ..their is no way in hell I would ever go back to that shit hole. The worst dentist office I've seen. The dentists are rushed and rude. The staff seems to be in training. Don't go there.

Overcrowded, loud, dirty, unorganized and unprofessional. I brought my daughter there to be seen by the orthodontist. They lost her paperwork, the waiting room was more like an emergency room ( people hacking and coughing, all seats taken and about 15 people standing ) kids running from the waiting room through the back area where people were getting their work done. No rooms, only cubby's. My daughter ended up being seen in the hallway! (where she had to stand against the wall because it was so crowded you couldn't walk through.) Then I was informed that she wouldn't even be seen by the orthodontist that day. I took my girls in to use the bathroom before we left and OMG..... absolutely filthy. Toilet was gross and floor didn't look like it had been mopped EVER and there is a big hole in the sheetrock under the sink so the pipes are exposed. Need less to say, I made an appointment with a different dentist and me and my family will NOT be returning to Wilson Dental. read more

I had a very positive experience at Wilson Dental. I totalled a tooth and they scheduled me right in. They then saw the tooth and said an infection was beginning; worked me right in at a spur of the moment and extracted it with precision. Dr. Aziz went out of his way to get me worked into his very busy schedule. Found the staff to be very solid in all areas and the premises were very well kept up. well done. read more

I and my children been going there for several years. finally fed up. stayed because I worked for them hoping to make a difference in their customer service. Terrible place to work for in the ethics are none. Just, Double booking, placing patients with any Dr.s. to fill the schedule. One good Dr. is Dr. Gwen. and my last visit wasn't even with him, placed with some woman, who I never got her name, to get fillings, and couldn't numb me, finally just let her do it, and then she dug to far, now being told Root Canal because she messed up, worst my insurance will not prove the Root Canal. I call to speak to Dr. Wilson to complain and was told by the nice representative in her sarcastic voice he ain't going to talk to you. (Thank you Erica). I did have direct number at one time but with my luck lost phone numbers. I am very frustrated. I had to go to a new Dentist and yes they stated need a root canal. I will now be paying out of pocket because I don't want my teeth pulled. I wouldn't recommend any kids or yourself to that office. If Dr. Wilson would of spoken to me and listened to my complaint of his staff I wouldn't be on here telling the whole world my frustration. .... oh and by the way Erica stated the Dr. that worked on my mouth was no longer there. Avoid at all costs. This place is a horrible. The staff was rude and unorganized. The whole experience was rushed. To make matters worse they recommended the wrong treatment, to do nothing, which could've had long term consequences for my 8 year old daughter had I not gotten a second opinion. It took forever to make an appointment because they lost my referral from my dentist. They wouldn't schedule an appointment without a referral, which wasn't a problem as my dentist sent it several times. They finally scheduled an appointment after finding the referral. When I arrived there with my daughter they said they couldn't see us because I needed a referral. I thought to myself "Seriously, again?" After 30 minutes of explaining that they must have it as they don't take appointments without one, they suddenly found it on the receptionist's desk. Then they kept pushing us to get unnecessary X-rays even though we brought X-rays that our dentist had taken a few weeks prior. After "examining" the X-rays the receptionist said "Come back in a year." I never met the dentist. He never even came over to say hi. We were rushed out. I chose to get a second opinion, we went to Hatala Orthodontics, which was the complete opposite of PC Wilson, and they said my daughter should have the procedure sooner than later. Even though PC Wilson accepts our insurance I've decided to pay for the expensive procedure my daughter needs rather than return here and save money. I will never go back. Very unprofessional, had a scheduled appointment a week ago. On the day of the appointment, they sent me a text stating a different time then my original time. Call them and they told me that the doctor didn't want to do a tooth extraction at the end of the day and i would to reschedule or come at 11:30 which it was 11am at the time i called. They said it would be ok if i was a little late because of the short notice. I get there ten minutes late; they said that the doctor refused me and i would have to reschedule the appointment again and they wouldn't be able to get me in two week from then. They didn't even try to accommodate me in anyway for my inconvenience for call out from work or from getting dropped off because i thought i wouldn't be able to drive after the procedure. I will never go back there again. Unbelievable. I would rather get my tooth pulled in a back of a dirty van then go back there. If your looking for a low down dentist that's the spot to go read more
