Two pieces of the rock fish
    Ruth B.

Friendly people nice quaint place. Due to a refrigeration issue no chowder and out of king cod. But super friendly and accommodating. Ended up getting the rock fish and chips. Not terrible. Everything came piping hot except the coleslaw it was chilled. The batter was a little thicker than I prefer and even cooked to a deep brown (not burnt) there were clumps against the fish that was still uncooked doughy batter. The batter had interesting seasoning that was a bit on the sweet side but overall tasty. Six big nuggets of fish. I forgot to get a picture right away but pulled two out. Lots of fries. Under seasoned but for health reasons of various people that is understandable. Coleslaw was not bad, had dried cranberries which was different. Not bad but not life changing. Overall a good meal.

Fish and chips halibut and smoked salmon chowder

They had a line even before opening time. Positives: -prices are very reasonable for the amount of fish we got. -their best item is probably the smoked salmon clam chowder, we can here for that and it did not disappoint. It's got great flavor, and the smokiness from the salmon really compliments the creaminess of the chowder. -service was friendly Negatives: -they give you a lot of fish for the tacos and the fish and chips, but the flavor of the fish was lacking. Without the sauce it can be very bland. -the spot is small though they have outdoor seating. Overall 4/5 I would say what we came for was great. Next time we will know what we want.

Dungeness crab and shrimp sandwich w/ fries

Stopped by for lunch on our way down to the Redwoods. There's plenty of parking right outside in the lot. The restaurant overlooks the water so there's a nice view from inside. The restaurant itself is small, clean, with a good amount of seating. We came in when the machine was broken so they only took cash. Thankfully, there's an ATM in the Bandon cafe down the street so it wasn't much of an issue. I ordered the dungeness crab and shrimp sandwich at market price which was around $21. A little pricey for a sandwich, but worth it. The sandwich was packed to the brim with fresh crab and shrimp. You have the option of coleslaw or fries. I chose the fries which were fresh and flavorful with a nice crunch. The sandwich was extremely filling and can easily be split between 2 people. I'm tempted to come back again one day to try their fish and chips and clam chowder as well.

This is my go to Fish and Chips in Oregon!! Yes, Oregon.

I've been here at least 10 times in the past 10 years and I can tell you every time I come here I'm always happy that I did. The food is delicious and particularly this day, the customer service is fantastic. We were customers of the day and that was at about 11:15 AM. We normally don't eat at this place early and we had stayed at a really good hotel approximately a block and a half away called Bandon Marina Inn. I never even knew the Inn existed, but found it on Expedia. It was a five star stay by the way! I have brought my four daughters and stepson to this place multiple times, and we always love the freshness and quality of the fish and chips, including the fried clam strips. They always have a good selection of drinks, including beer and gourmet sodas. They also have clam chowder which I haven't tried yet, but I'm looking forward to having it. The young lady, the service today was welcoming and chipper. Fantastic customer service skills! Our food was made in less than five minutes and we pretty much had the place for another five minutes until the next customers arrived. We usually hear an evening and they do close early, so pay attention to the hours in the winter. Fish and chips we had was the cod and they are always amazing. The coleslaw was actually good as well with a nice vinegar bite to it. The fries were perfectly cooked and a nice crispness to them. And the claim strips or spectacular. It's hard to find good fish and chips anywhere but this place always seems to be consistently good.

Halibut fish and chips. Served with tartar sauce below. Good to share!

We first discovered Bandon Fish Market two years ago and it was on the list to return to when we came back to Bandon. We learned our lesson from last time of ordering WAY too much food and limited it to our favorites this time. We split the halibut fish and chips as well as the salmon chowder. More than enough food to share for us. Their coleslaw is one of my favorites and we figured out last time that we preferred the salmon chowder over the regular chowder because it has a little bit of a spice to it. Fried scallops are also good but we knew we couldn't eat it all. Highly recommend. And you can enjoy a beer while you wait for your food to come out hot!

Little Maty - smaller portion fish n chips with clam chowder.

The service was very good. The food was served relatively fast. Tight indoor eating space when it's raining out. Food was good. Rock Fish was excellent. Chowder very good. Would go back again if we needed to.

Delicious clam chowder; among my favorites we have tried along the Oregon Coast. Fish & chips are also delicious: generous portions of halibut and not too much breading to overpower the fish. The cole slaw is a treat, with cranberries added, presumably local! The wait was way too long even though the employees said this was slow for them. Every table was filled with customers waiting for their food. Our food for two took 45 minutes. We will go back, but next time, we'd place our order and go back to pick it up.

They have their own canned fish

We wanted chowder, we got chowder. Thick and creamy with just the right amount of seasoning and clams. It wasn't overwhelmed with potatoes. If we ordered anything else, we would have had to wait 15-20 minutes. We ate outside on the dock at a picnic table. Definitely a popular place. Worth the stop. Small with friendly counter service.

Not normally my first choice, but was very tasty. We also shared the meatloaf which I really liked, my wife thought it was ok. This place was fantastic except for the sound was off the charts loud. It was understandable and no matter what, we were determined to make the night ours. A good time to put in the Apple three Pro iPods. Other than the sound, I would come here all the time. Fantastic servers and ours was extremely courteous and helpful in finding out what type of whiskey or Brandy that I like. She's a bartender and a server so she took the time to actually figure out what I liked in the drink. I found that extremely helpful and I would come back just to be served by her. Ambience is always important and like I said, the sound was extremely loud, but all the golfers were relaxing and enjoying their time together. Didn't really bother me as much as it bothered my wife. We were sat down quickly our server helped us figure out what type of drinks we wanted, and I can't thank her enough for her fantastic professionalism and sweet demeanor. That's the type of people that I want to work in restaurants and deal with people day-to-day. The food was fast to our table, hardy and savory. I saved my fish and chips for the next day and after dinner, we went outside and sat by the fire for an hour and a half. Our waitress broke away from what she was doing to go make sure the fire was stoked, hot and ready for us. Now the fire, that is an awesome fireplace outside. Stacks of wood neatly arranged next to the large fireplace that extends approximately 15 feet high or more. There must've been 30 pieces of wood in the fire, and it was roaring! I loved it and so did my wife! This is the place to go folks if you need a good experience with customer service and excellent food. And the drinks were terrific. Our waitress nailed the drinks! We were sad to see her go for the evening, but we were picked up by another great server. If you're looking to golf, the golfers all started, this is the best place in the world to golf at. Not being a golfer, I had to listen and analyze why they thought so. I had visited Pebble Beach and never golfed there but wow, I never knew Bandon, Oregon was the top destination for Golfing. It helps that this restaurant and resort is located in the heart of this amazing location. It's beautiful and welcoming and of course I would just come back for the customer service. Thank you!!

Although they aren't some glamorous food menu option, they were warm and absolutely perfect. Pepperoni on the pizzas were generous, and the pasta had a perfect amount of cheese flakes that added just the right amount of additional flavor to the pasta. Waiting staff was kind and patient, which helped us because we were exhausted and hungry and couldn't make up our minds fast enough. Much appreciate them. Rayvon was our waiter and he was excellent! His pace was perfect. We asked about favorite meals and we chose 3 of his 3 suggestions and were exceptionally pleased. Chicken parm, chicken piccata and bolognese were so good. Since there were 4 of us and only three suggestions (and I have a rule that no one can order the same thing) I chose the rigatoni pompadour. We shared all of our meals so everyone could have a bite to taste. The homemade pasta was so good. The taste, presentation, and portions were perfect We started with the meatballs and focaccia bread. Again, so good. Four meatballs, 4 pieces of bread, 4 people, perfect starters. We finished with the cookie skillet. Again, Rayvon came through with the suggestion of an extra scoop of ice cream which was exactly what we needed as we split the dessert.
