Empty tables at 6PM, wonder why..??... We expected good service. We expected SOME service. NOPE!! 1 other table came in and the server would only attend to them. When I said "I think we're ready" he stormed by and annoyingly said "YAH" and walked away. So we left before ever even ordering. We'll never return. Great staff- very very patient with our neighboring table who seemed to think being Mexican was about the most exotic thing they'd ever seen (really, what?) Generally accessible for wheelchair. Good food at good value, though I wish they had more protein options that weren't irreconcilably mixed with onions. Why are people so fascinated with onions? Still , a great place for Mexican food ! My wife and I ordered and had tamales con pollo and an enchilada both were served hot and delicious . My wife had two tamales and were also delicious. The restaurant is clean and looks good. The staff had delivered fast and took care of us. Prices are great and tough to beat. I recommend you try this place out. First time visiting Los Guerrero's restaurant in coos bay. The reviews were pretty good. We Stopped in for a late lunch. Ground beef nachos and couple drinks. It's a very nice and clean restaurant. However, the Server was unwelcoming and expressionless. He spoke under his breath like he was just scolded in the back. Very hard to understand. Our drinks were very good though. However (again), the food....our nachos appearance very unappetizing. The excessive amount of very saucy ground beef and extremely stingy gooey cheese completely drowned what little chips there were underneath. I tried to uncover the chips but it all was just a goopy mess. I chose my words carefully as to not embarrass him by explaining and showing him why the nachos were unsettling. He didn't care. He didn't respond. He said nothing and just walked away. My husband and I look at each other bewildered. We finished our drinks and requested our check. We thought maybe he had removed the nachos from the bill. He didn't. Still he said nothing. We kindly paid the check in cash no tip of course and left a note stating "We will not be back". And in all this...the restaurant was completely empty when we arrived about 2:30pm. Right before we left another couple walked in. Everything was just so awkward. I get having a bad day at times. Great quick service. Really addicting chips and salsa. My husband had a beef burrito and it was fantastic. I had the 7 Mare seafood soup and it was delicious and packed full of seafood (bay shrimp, prawns, squid, octopus, fish, mussels and clams). Hit the spot on a cold coast day. Maybe not for everybody but pretty authentic. Menu is vast so they really have something for everybody. read more

Chimichanga with shredded beef, beans taste like gma cooked them. Come hungry, big full plates of lovely food. There was no grease under my food. We ate here about 4 months ago. The food served was not hot. We were going to give them another try today until I noticed the health score from the health department. How do you not provide soap for employees to wash their hands after an initial inspection told them of this violation?! They probably don't even have hot water. First off I have to say I feel badly writing this review because the guy that took our order is super nice. With that being said, had a very simple order. Bean and cheese burrito, yuck. It was so bland and the beans were terrible :( the yellow cheese was super greasy and the whole experience left me feeling yucky in the end. I didn't just throw it away because I was hungry....and didn't want to waste food. Didn't eat the whole thing and the only saving grace was that my order came with chips and salsa, so I used some salsa to help it out. Salsa was bland but the burrito needed all the help it could get. In my opinion, if the refried beans at a Mexican restaurant are terrible, then the restaurant isn't very good. HUGE Texas style portions! You can feed two people with one entree! We stopped here on our way down the coast to Bandon! I got the fajitas and the wife got a burrito...the burrito was the size of head (I have a large one). The fajitas came in a large skillet sizzling with onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, and celery (surprised but was actually good). The guacamole was excellent! The food, which is why we ate here is just as good and better than other Mexican restaurants in town. Great selection of menu items. The chicken taco and beef enchilada were full of meat and very tasty. Carne Asda was as good as others I have had in town. Prices are very similar to others in town. The wife and I finally got around to trying out this place. Had high hopes for it due to the positive reviews. Food was okay, not bad but not great. Salso was pretty good but the chips are hard, not crisp. Wife had a carnitas taco while I had the wet burrito plate with pork inside topped with verde(green) sauce and cheese. Rice and refried beans were included on my lunch plate. The meat in the carnitas taco was a bit dry but was made well. My rice and beans were just okay but I enjoyed the wet burrito. Service was just okay as well. Never checked back to see if all was well or if we needed anything. The price was a little on the high side for Mexican food, about $17 for lunch without drinks. Will give it one more try in the future. 3 1/2 stars. read more

Got the tamale and chicken enchilada lunch meal. The tamale was 90% masa so there was very little filling present. Chicken in the enchilada was plentiful but it was dry and stringy tough. Their refried beans had a slightly offputting taste. For the side of rice, it was dry without a real pop to the flavor. Go get a similar meal from Margarita's and one from here to compare side by side. Margarita's meals are so tasty that I use a tortilla chip to scoop up any remaining sauces while I could not even finish the Los Guerreros meal. read more

Friendly server, fast service, food is delicious and fresh. The horchata isn't as good as I had hoped for but it was ok. I'm looking forward to trying margaritas when they get their liquor license. The chips were ok. Seemed store bought possibly. Definitely should think about remodeling the inside or at least changing the booths and tables. The inside of this building hasn't changed in at least 20 years...it even smells the same. But...I would eat here again. They just have some things to work on I think. read more

Wonderful new Mexican Restaurant on the highway in North Bend. Stopped in for lunch today. The food was absolutely delicious! I got the Chile Verde Taco Salad. Complex flavors in the Chile Verde pork. Not too spicy nor too mild. Just right. My husband got a combo and loved his lunch, especially the home made tamale. Not your average Mexican restaurant in Coos County. This is a cut above. The atmosphere is very warm, clean and inviting. The employees are very professional and kind. The fajitas had hardly any meat it was all onions and peppers that were hard and huge chunks. Really had to dig to find some meat.The flour tortillas were microwaved so they were supper chewy.
