It was obvious as I walked in overhearing their conversation about someone they had caught and followed out the store on the advice of the owner.( their words not mine )which is very dangerous in itself. I had a large LV bag that I would have happily put behind the counter if for some reason they saw me as a potential thief. It was totally uncomfortable atmosphere.We had almost walked out due to the treatment we received until I saw a sweater that I really loved .. I purchased the sweater despite my husbands protests.Its very unfortunate because it's a great boutique. BTW is was a shopping trip for my birthday from my husband. UPDATE: (Yes, I got locked out of my account and never got around to updating this) After posting…read moremy review, the owner contacted me privately. She explained that although their posted hours are 10:00-5:00, they "have to start locking the door and controlling traffic as the day ends." Interestingly, this contradicts the business's public response, which claims I "obviously came to [the] door after hours" and that no one saw or spoke to me. I was there before 5:00, and an employee looked directly at me while pulling the door shut and locking it. My complaint was never that they needed to stay open past 5:00. It was that I was prevented from entering before 5:00 without any explanation. Their private explanation actually provides context consistent with my experience, while their public response dismisses it entirely. I was also asked privately to delete my review and told, "I am sure [it] doesn't matter to you who you harm." I find that response particularly telling. Rather than simply acknowledging that the situation could have been handled better, the business chose to question my intentions and publicly characterize my experience as inaccurate. I'm leaving my original review unchanged and adding this update so readers can see the full context and make their own judgment.

As affordable is becoming somewhat of a hidden gem in Wimberley it is not hidden in Classy Couture! I loved the store, a little overwhelming with all the choices! But loved the prices and friendly customer service as well, I wanted to spread the word about this great store I discovered where I can actually come out with a bag full of merchandise and NOT empty my checking account! I will be back and have since told my friends and props to Classy Couture for having affordable prices in this economy!
