I love this shop. It is super clean and the people are super nice. The sandwiches are prepared fresh or there is a counter with ready made ones for convenience. The donuts are always beautiful and delicious. I like the size of the donuts. They are a bit bigger than other similar places but price is about the same as anywhere else. I was getting low on gas after driving my friend around for a couple days and also one other person that I dropped off before coming here. The cheapest gas here was $4.09 per gallon. I used my debit card in hopes of getting the cash price. The price did not go down like other stations, but it did not charge me a debit card fee. It was easy in, easy out here. They have a store here, but I didn't need to go in as I paid at the pump. The outside areas looked pretty clean and safe here. If going by here again and I need gas, I would stop by again. Next time if I am not in a hurry I will check the inside store. read more

I've been a loyal customer of Winchell's for over 10 years, visiting various locations without any issues. However, this specific location's morning crew has made my visits unnecessarily frustrating, and it's disappointing to see how poorly it's managed. The crew here also seems really arrogant, and it feels like this attitude trickles down from management. There are staff members who seem to follow orders from others who clearly don't want to be there, probably just to keep their jobs. This lack of enthusiasm and poor attitude creates a bad experience for customers like me. When I order a cold turkey croissant sandwich at other locations, it's always simple: I ask for the sandwich, and they confirm if jack cheese is fine (which it is, because that's how it normally comes) AND if i would like a combo, which I DO and usually get. Here, it's a completely different story. You'd better know how to speak Spanish otherwise they look at you funny and then they begin to give each other looks and apparently, you need to be ready to give a detailed breakdown of every ingredient you want--right down to how many seconds you want it toasted. And if you assume it comes with the standard ingredients? Think again. The morning crew, in particular, is the real issue. There's one staff member who seems like SHE doesn't like her job or serving customers, and it shows. Every time I've tried to order a combo, they tell me, "Oh no, you can't do that," even though I've been ordering combos at other locations for over a decade without any problems. And what's even more frustrating is that, at other locations, they always ask me if I'd like to make it a combo--which is what I'm used to and appreciate. Winchell's is a brand I've always trusted for consistency and great service, but this crew and management are clearly the exception. I hope corporate steps in to address these issues because loyal customers like me deserve better than this. ALSO THEIR SYSTEM BEING "DOWN" AND NOT WILLING TO SELL COMBOS IS KINDA FISHY IMO AND I WONDER IF THEY ARE SIMPLY TRYING TO UPCHARGE CUSTOMERS MORE BY NOT HONORING UPGRADING THEIR SANDWICHES TO COMBOS. read more

Stopped in as an alternative to 7-Eleven for two latte and a cinnamon bun. The self ordering kiosk was great and the staff was all very friendly even asking me if I needed some help. I ordered a small vanilla latte x 2 but I regret only getting one shot in them. The drinks were way too weak however, two shots would've made the drink over &7 each,, which is more than Starbucks. The four stars are for the nice customer service, store cleanliness and overall experience, but the prices are not quite what I would call a good bargain . read more

Got a fresh squeezed OJ and green juice with bagel breakfast sandwich and a Blueberry bagel with cream cheese. It was great tasting, wait time was good, and place was clean. Saw this place under construction, looked interesting, so was keeping my eye on this place, and just waiting for it to open. Just by luck, we're driving by, on they're first day of operation. From the outside, it looks like your typical, self-served gas station, with what looks like a mini-mart, filled with assorted drinks, snacks, donuts and sandwiches. Couple of things that make this place different, is that they make their donuts in house, so they're as fresh as possible. Also available is a sandwich shop, with assorted hot and cold sandwiches, that you order from a touch sceen pad, and somebody behind the counter makes it for you. So pretty much everything in this place is self served, except making the sandwiches, and handling the cash register. The donuts was pretty fresh, gas was a little cheaper, than other stations in the area, and they have a really nice greeter at the door. We'll defintely come back and fill up the gas tank, see what the sandwiches look and taste like. read more

This is a unique concept. It's a gas station...with the regular convenient store...it's a donut shop...it's a bagel and breakfast shop...all rolled into one location. The donuts here are delicious. So soft and fresh...they just melt in your mouth. They don't have the fancy flavors but you don't need them. You can't go wrong with the classics. I also got a bagel here and it tasted like it came from Noah's bagel...without the long wait and the high price tag. I wish I lived closer because I would be stopping in here all the time. Service and food is all good. The only reason for the three stars is that every time I come in for the donuts and two rockstars, that their bathroom is always closed. The lot for Win Win is huge with vast spacing between fuel islands and they didn't charge me an additional fee for using debit/credit to purchase fuel like Arco does... even the new Sinclair over on Puente Ave charges this fee but if I can avoid a fee and still fuel up close to home... Everything is nice & squeaky clean, my first experience was great! A staff member greeted me at the entrance and informed me how everything works. The coffee and donuts are self served, but you can order at the breakfast/donut window. They also have separate front desk on the left that can help you with gas or if you need a pack of smokes. The gas station is well lit at night. Probably the brightest corner on Amar and Sunset. I picked up some fresh donut holes, jalapeño cheese croissant, and med hazel nut coffee. I came here around 7:30 am so there was some foot traffic.They don't have all the donuts a regular Winchell's has but they have a pretty good amount to choose from. Gas is cheaper almost every where if you pay cash, including here. 1 star is for the donuts. I miss Winchell's! The old Winchell's where the donuts are fresh. Not so much here. I spent $10 on donuts (half dozen & a box of donut holes) all hard and stale. I'd say at least 2 days old. Husband just threw them away. I guess my bad luck. What ever happened to labeling food "day old" and selling it a little cheaper? Or just throwing them away after 2 days when they're not fresh anymore? This is probably the WORST donut place I've gone to. Horrible to say since it's a new shop. I was so excited to finally try WIN WIN. It's a self serve donut shop. So as I grabbed 5 donuts and make it to the cashier I leave the box half way open so it's easy for her to see and count how many donuts I have She reaches for the box and sticks her hands in it to count the donuts The whole purpose of me leaving the box halfway open was so that she wouldn't have to put her dirty hands near my donuts. I find it just disgusting and unsanitary by having the employees touch inside the donut box when their cashiering handling dirty money and change. Used to be my favorite place to get bagels , used to be a pleasant experience with great customer service. That was gone the day they hired Maria who wasn't even wearing a name tag or proper gear so for all I know was volunteering for the day with her service of that of someone whose never worked a day in her life. I am still shaking from how enraged I am. I ordered a bagel and proceeded to ask for my drink which apparently is no longer included,but still she had to go ask because from the beginning of my interaction she was clueless. I asked for a donut which due to covid I'm sure I wasn't supposed to get myself she was about to put all three donuts with festive decorations in the same bag.
