$0.99 with any purchase inside the market
    Carmen T.

I only come here when my coworkers want to eat at the 168 food court. If you purchase something from the market, you can get any drink for $0.99! They only have basic drinks such as coffee, milk tea, and green tea. I always go for the milk tea. The quality of it is so-so. Tastes a little like its powder made. Aside from the $0.99 price point, there's nothing too different or spectactular about it. I can't speak too much on their bread, but I hope to come back and try it someday.

It was so relaxing and I was able to get a lot done for work as well as hold a meeting. I ordered the ube with butterscotch cream and it was not too sweet. It was nice to drink and work at the same time. I was able to get some privacy too by picking the corner. I definitely want to come back and try other coffees too now as I will be in the area as well. The customer service was super friendly and patient.

Unfortunately, I left disappointed. One positive is the overall aesthetic. I like the layout and the lighting design, and the globe fixtures give the shop a nice modern look. Unfortunately, when you look closer, the fixtures have visible dust and grime buildup. Some of them are high up, so I understand they aren't easy to clean, but this is where an occasional ladder or professional deep cleaning comes in. The shop has good design bones; it just needs more attention to cleaning and maintenance. The music itself is trendy and current, but it is much too loud for a work-friendly coffee shop, especially because the space is very echoey. I'm including a screenshot of the sound level along with a short video so people can get a sense of it for themselves. I found it basically impossible to concentrate without earplugs or noise-canceling headphones. Seating is also limited and isn't very comfortable. It's mostly hard wooden benches and plastic or metal folding-style chairs. Nothing egregious, but not especially comfortable if you're planning to sit and work for a while. What really started the experience off badly for me was my drink. I ordered an iced matcha for $6.75 and asked if they could do less ice. I was told that if I wanted less ice, the drink would be less full. I said never mind and asked for it to just be filled normally. When I received it, though, my matcha still had noticeably less liquid than my husband's drink. Since they only offer one size for each iced drink, the difference was pretty obvious. We also tipped $1. The matcha itself was just your standard iced matcha -- nothing special -- and definitely didn't feel worth $6.75 to me. My husband's $8 Butterscotch Cream Latte actually tasted good, but after he finished it, we were surprised by how much of the cup was taken up by ice. The photo speaks for itself. Given that I had already been told that requesting less ice would result in a less-full drink, this really diminished the value for me. The bathroom was another big negative. I tend to judge the cleanliness of a business by its restroom, and this one did not give me confidence. The bathroom door and several surrounding surfaces looked like they had not been thoroughly wiped down in quite a while, with visible grime and buildup, and there were also holes in the wall. Even the glass entrance doors had visible smudges and residue. I'm including photos because these things were noticeable and contributed to an overall poorly maintained impression. There were no paper towels available. Instead, an old-looking handwritten sign was taped over the dispenser saying, "Please use the air dryer. Thank you!" I personally avoid hand dryers because of hygiene concerns, so after washing my hands I ended up using toilet paper and a toilet-seat cover so I could open the bathroom door without touching the handle directly. At that point, they might as well remove the paper towel dispenser entirely. Leaving an unused dispenser covered by an aged paper sign just looks lazy and poorly maintained to me, especially in a customer-facing bathroom. Aesthetically, I also wasn't a fan of all the taped-up paper signs. The front entrance has a large paper sign taped directly to the glass saying "PLEASE CLOSE THE DOOR GENTLY. THANK YOU!!!" along with several other smaller notices, and the bathroom has the aged handwritten sign taped over the unused paper towel dispenser. These are small details individually, but together with the visible grime, holes, and neglected surfaces, they made the shop feel more makeshift and poorly maintained than the otherwise nice design deserves. It clearly seems to be a popular spot, and my husband had far fewer complaints and enjoyed his latte. I also think the overall layout and lighting aesthetic have potential. For me, though, the underfilled matcha, ice-heavy drinks, standard-at-best matcha, loud music, limited seating, uncomfortable chairs, and overall cleanliness and maintenance made this a disappointing first visit.

Hey girls! Stopped by CHAYAN today, and the moment I walked up to the entrance, that rich, aromatic tea scent completely stopped me in my tracks! They even had free samples at the door. I took a sip of the "Fei Zi Xiao Lychee" and instantly couldn't stop smiling--it's a flawless blend of fresh lychee sweetness and crisp tea notes. It literally lives up to its name and makes you happy with every sip! What touched me the most was the cultural vibe. The walls are lined with exquisite framed displays detailing different tea bases--like Wuyi Da Hong Pao, Jin Jun Mei, Jasmine Snow, Yunnan Pu'er, Taiwan Dong Ding Oolong, and Osmanthus Tieguanyin--complete with real tea leaves packed into the bottom! Reading through all those cool tea facts while waiting for my order actually made the wait feel super meaningful. The two melon drinks I tried this time totally blew me away: Melon Milk Tea The ultimate combo of sweet melon and refreshing tea! It's unbelievably smooth and packed with natural melon aroma, but thanks to the tea base, it's not overly sweet at all. A total summer must-try gem! Melon Lemon Tea Freshly muddled lemon + sweet melon + roasted Oolong! The first sip hits you with bright citrus sweetness, followed by an explosion of fruity melon and deep Oolong notes. Acidic, sweet, and crisp--it's the ultimate heat-buster! If you love authentic, high-quality tea flavors, you can thank me later!

I prefer a stronger tea flavor but the drink itself was not bad! The popping oat boba was interesting, but I liked it. It has a nutty flavor and the same texture as popping boba. My friend got one of their lemonades and it was delicious! I think they're better known for their lemonades than their milk tea drinks. Service was good. We got our drinks quickly! Plenty of seating inside the store. There is also plenty of parking out in front of the store.

They currently have a special for a 0.99 cent drink if you download their app and order online, along with 4 additional coupons for 30% off (which I should've checked before I added a second drink to my order at regular price). There were so many options to choose from and they all looked so good! They have fruit teas and frappes too! I decided on the Coco Cotti (recommended by the employee) and the Cloud Mousse Blue Coco Latte (both hot). The Blue Coco Latte was delicious and tasty, I really liked the mousse foam on top. The employee said the blue color of the latte comes from the sugar they use. Unfortunately the Coco Cotti was disappointing. All I could taste was a faint hint of the coconut milk, barely any coffee flavor. I already suspected that the drink would be milked down when I opened the lid and saw how pale the drink was. I went home and pulled a shot of espresso and added it to my cup and luckily that improved the drink. The next time I stop by I'll be trying the Toffee Hazelnut series - that looks good!

I went at 2PM on Thursday to give the Pampas Blue Coconut Coffee a try ($4.99). You can choose between full and half sweet. The full sweet was perfect, and the coffee/coconut flavor was balanced. The price is quite reasonable for a ~16oz drink as well. However there is no seating and there isn't really anywhere to hangout around in the plaza either.
